Zeugma in Croydon

This place is brilliant for fresh succulent meat dishes, oh and the Bread!!!!!! The food was absolutely Delicious. PreStarter: Bread and Salad Starter: Grilled Halloumi Main: Mixed Grill Kebab Dessert: Baklava Customer service was good, despite there being a large group of us to serve. Thank you to Amir and the entire team for looking after us.

Had a marvellous lunch, lentil soup for starter followed with the vegetarian moussaka. All of the normal accessories expected in a Turkish restaurant, bread, dips and salad. The lunchtime menu deal (£11.99) also included a free drink....not around Croydon very often, but definitely would return

I visited this restaurant with my wife and it was such a terrible experience. We ordered a platter which was not worth the money but that was besides the point. When the platter came all seemed well untill I tasted the Kofte which was part of the platter and it was LITERALLY rotten. It tasted and smelt like meat that had been off for weeks. First of all i eat Turkish food all the time and i know Kofte. This food was OFF. I Complained to the manager and he was dismissive and rude about our complaint saying that it was impossible that the food was spoiled which was laughable as I had to spit it back out. He then said numerous times we wouldn’t have to pay because of the inconvenience. We stayed for about 5-10 mins ate one or two pieces and then decided to leave with More than half of the food still on the platter plate because we feared that other portions of the food may be off and can’t afford a case of food poising. But before we left the manager brought another portion of Kofte which we did not ask for and dumped it on our plate without asking us and this made us get up and leave. All of a sudden we’re called to pay after the manager repetitively said we should eat and not pay. All of a sudden the manager stands up in a threatening manner attempting to assault me and my wife. Then started reaching into his pockets to bring out God knows what. After this we just left Overall it was a terrible experience and i WILL NEVER step foot in that Restaurant again

The restaurant is closed until May so I ordered for takeaway. Amazing food will reorder again 10/10 for taste and portion size.

My brother and I decided to try this restaurant, as we hadn’t had the opportunity to since it opened. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who showed us to a table. The menu was ample and we decided on a starter of sigara boregi (feta cheese and parsley inside filo pastry), followed by mains of lamb ribs with salad and chips and for myself - grilled prawns with salad and chips. A short while later the waitress brought over some complimentary bread plus two starters of hummus and fried aubergine. It was very lovely of them but ended up being quite a lot of food along with the starter that we ordered - we were not complaining though. I loved my large prawn dish - which I had to de-shell a little at the table and my brother also enjoyed his food. We were suitably full by the end and both decided that we would definitely come back. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
