Marmaris Grill in Croydon

Ordered off their online app. They took my money but as it turns out the shop is temporarily closed and phone number provided isnt even connected. No one to call to get money back. They shouldnt have their online app on if they arent open! Scamming money out of people!

Der leckere Grill-Geruch hat mich und meine Freundin in den Laden gelockt. Der Besitzer hat uns super freundlich empfangen und da wir sehr unentschlossen waren, hat er uns einige Speisen empfohlen. Besonders der Lamm-Döner und die Hähnchenspieße waren sehr lecker. Wir können dies nur weiterempfehlen.

I waited over 2 hours for a delivery which I phoned twice and the guy said its leaving in 4 mins then 20mins later get a tex from just to say they cancelled it what a poor service and the guy who works what a liar Do not recommend this so called takeaway

If you want to eat, I wouldnt order here. 1.5hr wait, called and was told it would be 35mins, 1.5hrs later when they finally answered the phone they told me my order had been cancelled hence why it wasn't delivered. Joke of a place.

It is very rare to find a takeaway that puts just as much care into their customer service as they do their food. Mo from the shop is amazing. He takes so much pride in the food he makes and it really shows. This is by far the best mixed kebab I have ever had. Best shop in croydon hands down. The small touches they add like wrapping your food in foil to keep as much of the heat in so your food isn't cold when it arrives. I will definitely continue to order from here! From one very happy customer 😀

The food was very tasty, with good quality ingredients and you could tell everything was freshly made. The staff were very friendly and took care to prepare the food as the presentation was great. I would defintely recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

Tried the Fresh Chicken Burger. It tastes good. The salad inside made the burger tastes even better as it's different than the raw salad I usually get from takeaways. The pricing is appropriate. The manager is very humble and friendly. Great experience overall. Nothing to complain about.

Marmaris Grill is a great mix of homemade Mediterranean food, as well as local foods like chips. The chicken shawarma is delicious, and it’s greatly affordable. The chips taste great, and unlike other resturaunts, they have a good ratio of salt. The falafel (which is vegan) is out of this world, and the staff are very polite. Come visit this shop in Croydon, you won’t ever find any Mediterranean food like this.

Wife ordered from here yesterday, definitely not what other kebab's give you, we ordered kebab wraps, please tell me why out kebab wraps come with brown wraps/pittas and we asked for all salad, our wraps come with only carrot and cucumber, who the hell puts carrot on a kebab/wrap? Also next to nothing meat in the wraps! First time trying from here but definitely won't be ordering from here again fakeist kebab wrap ever! Guys sort this out and please stop using carrot, carrots for salad not kebabs!

Ordered through deliveroo, the chips tasted really good but the grill mix tasted a little off, the meat was hard to chew. I will give it another try some other day but first impression wasn't great.

Had to put at least a star just so i could be eligible to write a review even though its not even worth the one star. I made an order and they told me they was late of delivery's and falling behind but as i have had food from them once before i said it is ok and i would wait. But this took 2 hours to come but this is not the reason for the bad review the reason i am writing this review are much worse. So i will number them. 1. i found 2 small dead fruit fly's in my chips. 2. i ordered a peri peri chips and half pounder cheese burger and a drink. what i got was normal tiny chips that was wet and cold with 2 fly's in it. and a quarter cheese burger and no drink. 3. the order should have came to £9.50. when i asked the delivery guy how much he just stated £10 and thought it was ok to give himself a tip. Now i am not fussed over £0.50 as i was going to give a tip anyways. but this was terrible service. I would strongly advice not eating from this establishment. they seem very nice over the phone but the food is the worse i have ever had and would most likely make you very ill. I only had the burger and i am already feeling ill.

I have given 1 star as cannot give zero. Dry, tasteless doner and shawarma and chicken shish was tiny non descript cubes. NEVER AGAIN.YUK!!!

Best Kebab place in Croydon and lived here for 10 years. Clean and tasty

Just had a mixed grill of lamb shish chicken shish sharwarma and kofte. Kofte was superb juicy and flavoursome. Lamb Shish cooked on coals. Chicken was great too. Salads were lovely as well as the home made humus and tzatiki. Recomend falafels. In all delicious food. Marmaris is now my only place to go for grilled kebabs.

Tasted OK but expensive and very stingy with not just the meat but also the salad which is hard to fathom.

Amazing food and service definitely need to check it out if you're in the area, the chicken shawrma is not one to miss and the homemade baklava 👌🏼🙌🏼

Amazing food, all ingredients are freshly made with the best quality products. They use coal for the grill. The service is personal and fantastic. Food is as close as it gets to home food, if not better! I’ll be ordering again for sure.

Very tasty after long day of fasting- highly recommend although did take a bit longer than I anticipated but still good packaging and generous portions I thought the ‘small’ would be small but luckily was a great amount , I liked the chicken shawarma a lot ! thank you for the free yogurt drink :)

Terribly disappointed at how it has gone completely downhill since its reopening and new management. The old marmaris grill was the best. Was a loyal returning customer. Sad I won’t get to taste those flavours again. Expect bland flavours that you get everywhere else. Nothing special. Did not enjoy the food. Won’t be returning.

I dont usually leave reviews, but this new kebab shop is da bomb ! I was really hungry after my morning shift and came to grab a chicken shawarma meal and a baklava . It literally tastes better than the ones in central london. I am definitely coming back

Stopped in on Friday with my friend for the best chicken shawarma of my life, first time customer but definitely returning. Food was so delicious and so authentic it can't be understated, owner was welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure we got great food. .... Don't get the baklava if he offers it though. Still 5 stars!

Best Mediterranean food, shish and shawarma in croydon. Also the baklava is amazing - I believe it is homemade and freshly made everyday. This is recently been refurbished and under new management. The new management take pride in the food - you can taste the freshness in their ingredients and meat. It is much more then just a kebab shop! Also a bonus is the super friendly staff behind the counter who are always happy to serve you with a smile!

Walked in on awful walk home from The Oval Tavern. Many ales.!! I was like, “i have no idea how to pronounce ‘donner’ or ‘doner’ but given I’m a big foreign languages nerd, decided to ask them. I’m like, is it a Turkish word? Is there perhaps an umlaut above the ‘o’?? I remember what an umlaut is because of a couple of years of German back in secondary school. They’re like yes, that’s how you pronounce it!! For readers: this is an umlaut: ö It’s the two dots above a vowel. In this case, it’s the two dots above an ‘o’. Defo visit this kebab shop as well, and ask them how it sounds xx ❤️

New owners, use real coal on the grill, had one last night, superb, has really gone upmarket, but prices are cheaper, or the same. Will be back.

great tasting food, good delivery time - but they failed to deliver my rice. I called the restaurant to let them know & they assured me someone would deliver it shortly..... almost 4 hours have passed & I still don’t have my rice! Quite disappointing as I’m a regular customer.

Food came in plenty of time HOWEVER.. we ordered cheese chips, chicken burger, lamb donner wrap, lamb shish wrap and chicken wings. The burger bun, lamb shish and chicken wings were burnt. When we called the restaurant to complain the owner became aggressive when described that the food was burnt and eventually hung up. Would not order from here again.

Food was dry and tasteless like yesterday food. only fresh things was the side salad. Lamb chop wanted medium., it was all red inside. we had to microwave it again. Have order here before and it was decent, Such a let down!!!

Did ask for extra chillies in both meals. Was disappointed that we didn't receive any. Food was nice dispite that. Chilli sauce a bit more spicy than normal. The lamb kebab was also quite dry despite the chilli sauce topping. Would still order again.

We did write some special request like extra cucumber which wasn't make it and we received fries with our wings instead of the salad that we ordered. Not point to have a choose when they don't listen it. Food taste was good though.

This was my second order with this restaurant. At first time it was great, one of the best kebab i ever had in my life, seriously. Today ive ordered the same food - 2 kebab wraps. It came cold, dry, no sauces at all (i asked for bbq and peri peri sauce). Im very dissapointed.
