Went with family for a pre Xmas lunch today. All I can say is it was first class. We will definitely be back soon. Each course was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The students were very polite and efficient. Also value for money was second to none.

lunch time menu was amazing and the quality was exceptional.super value for money. Food, fresh, well presented, tasty and local. Service was first class. The students who work here are brilliant.

Excellent service from a group of students learning their trade. 3 course meal was a match for something in an established restaurant at a fraction of the cost. Front of house staff were very good as well. Will definitely be back....soon

MAIN STREETMy husband and I had an evening meal at The Smithy with a couple of friends on Saturday evening. The meal was excellent, as was the welcome and the service. The menu was imaginative and the atmosphere was very good. We would certainly eat there again if in the area and would thoroughly recommend it.
