Zephs Cafe in Oadby and Wigston

Wow! We had the chicken pie at the special evening on Friday. It was delicious. The staff were great, as usual. Erin smiled all night as always and it was great to see Millie home from university for the holiday.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Zephs Cafe for making our visit very enjoyable. The food choices not to mention the desserts are so delicious and it's our go to place whenever we're in Oadby! Keep it up and we'll be in soon for our pudding fix with a lovely warm drink!

Usually the first place we think of to eat whilst shopping in Oadby. However, we went for lunch today, we ordered a mushroom omelet each with chips. No taste to either very disappointing, perhaps it was just a bad day

A fantastic place in all aspects. The food was hot and very tasty. The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I will be coming back very soon.

The food was delicious. A full choice in the menu and a great deal of choice on a specials board. The children’s sandwich box was great - my daughter ate everything. I drink oat milk and it has never been an issue, they have always got some and the coffee is delicious. They now have a selection of iced coffees, Frappuccino’s, smoothies and milkshakes. There is a wide selection of teas, so something for everyone. The prices are reasonable for what you get and the staff are friendly. I would recommend a visit. I’ve had breakfast there too in the past and it was delicious!

I often have meetings here and depending on arranged times I have breakfast, brunch and lunch and of course the homemade cakes are excellent. Staff are friendly and the whole place is welcoming pleasant environment 😊

Amazing experience at Zeph's cafe for our afternoon tea. We had our department afternoon tea from local school booked on a Saturday. Michael (manager) was very helpful and took down all our allergies and dietary requirements. Thank you for making our afternoon tea experience enjoyable by all the staff who were there (loved small pots of clotted cream.

Very nice chicken mushroom and leek pie! As always very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Delicious victoria sponge for dessert.

Always great friendly service at Zephs. The food is spot on and the scones and cakes are fantastic all being made fresh on the premises. Great value too.

A big thank you to Jenny in Zephs who made two fantastic birthday cakes for my milestone birthday. Both cakes, one Chocolate and the other a Lemon drizzle cake with fresh fruit topping, were beautifully decorated, moist and very tasty. Forget shop bought cakes for celebrations, go to Zephs and get quality cakes that are made locally. A big thank you to all those involved.

Zephs cafe is an independent cafe serving lovely foods and coffee along with the most beautiful cakes and scones. Their afternoon teas are in my opinion the best I’ve ever had and really reasonably priced. The cakes and scones are made on the premises and are absolutely amazing. They also provide a buffet service that’s very reasonably priced too. The themed 3 course meals are brilliant too.

Just had the most amazing afternoon tea lovely sandwiches sausage rolls crisps. Then a huge scone and homemade on the premises cakes. At £8.95 pp an absolute bargain. Will we be back? You bet!!

We visited on a very hot afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the service and range available. There were plenty of large cakes to cut plus flapjack and scones, a much better offering than many cafes offer, especially in the afternoon. The teapots were generous and overall the prices were most reasonable.

We went to Zeph's for the Fish Fryday special evening. The food was lovely, fish beautiful. Our friend, who had not been with us before, really enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, especially Madison and Erin, who smiled all evening. Can't wait for the next special evening.

I came to Zeph's for a bite to eat with work colleagues. I ordered a tuna and cucumber baguette and was wonderfully surprised by the quality of the food and service. They have a broad lunch menu and SPECIALS! Thank you to Zeph's and the team for a lovely lunch in the sun. We will be returning soon!

ordered panini tea and sticky toffee pudding, waited for 20 mins drinking tea, the chef comes to say dont have mozarella so I changed the order to a toastie, he offered refund of the difference, waited another 20mins before food arrived, all ok nothing special (not complaining as it was only a toastie). No one came back with the refund seems to have forgotten. Embarrased to ask but did ask and refund given, came out of the cafe only realized that the pudding never arrived. I feel this is extremely poor service, I didnot feel that they cared about the customer. Simple apologies offered which all felt not genuine at all. This is the first time I am writing a review but I feel these need to be highlighted so the staff could be trained properly. Spoiled my whole afternoon with mediocre and careless service by the cafe!

Living the other side of Leicester I had not been more than a few times to this lovely cafe. I visited at the weekend with a friend from Oadby and again the visit was memorable. All safety precautions were in place to a very high standard - i was not at any time concerned. The staff were excellent and although it was a very busy Saturday morning nothing was too much trouble for them. My only regret being not being able to visit more often! Well done Zephs !

First Fish Fryday night since lockdown. Brilliant night. Food was superb, beautifully cooked. Great atmosphere and tables all spread out well so felt safe.

We regularly go here at least once a fortnight on a Saturday for a late breakfast.It's in one of the main car parks but away from the high street. They serve a good variety of hot breakfasts and cakes (for afternoon tea etc).Service is very good with staff being extremely polite although they can get overwhelmed when busy.They have well kept toilet facilities.Definitely one of my favourite places to have a rest and eat something in Oadby.

Breakfast was good but service was slow - whilst we were there three sets of customers left the queue and walked out before being served. The place lacked a bit of ambience.

Stopped in here as our usual favourite was busy and had coffee and a sandwich. Prices not bad but the coffee wasn’t great, a bit tasteless really. Sandwich was fine freshly made served with a little salad. We tried a millionaire’s shortbread which was really good. That would be worth going back for.

The prices are very expensive, it's very noisy, you have to park right in the car park otherwise you will get a parking ticket, avoid like the plague, the manager is very rude and ignorant,

A family group met Saturday and had breakfast, superb. Everything was piping hot and the food beautiful. One member needed food cooking differently and nothing was too much trouble. Great service, a willingness to rearrange tables so we had space. Not often you get that. Some had cake to follow and the new flavours for vegans is amazing. Well done Zephs. See you again.

I visited Zephs because of the bears! The cafe uses Zeph the dementia bear and Tyson the loneliness bear as tools in its community work. It is a vital important hub in the Oadby community and as a big bonus.....the food is great! You will be assured of a friendly welcome, and someone to talk to if you want to sit at the chatter and natter table.

Good spot for morning coffee (and scones!), lunch (light or more substantial) and afternoon tea (with cake). Varied and changing menu. Free parking for 3 hours adjacent to the cafe.!

I love this place it's friendly, helpful and the food is always really hot and well presented. The open atmosphere gives a great ambience to the café and it's disabled friendly. Was really pleased to see it open again after the Easter closure. Keep up the good work.

Went to zeph’s cafe and had a hot chocolate tasted like something I would make at home. There was some cake which did not look appealing . There was some kind of loyalty card but I was’nt asked if I would like one it is more of a place like a village hall rather than a cafe

I went here with family and we sat there and there was not one staff member to come to us to check if we are satisfied which i find appalling.

We enjoyed a very pleasant lunch - jacket potato with prawns and side salad . This was very well presented,and staff all very kind and courteous . Will come again.

Visited Zeph's with my grandchildren recently. Superb outsize cherry scones and a tasty selection of desserts to please the girls. Also the duplo and colouring books available next to the table were a sure-fly way of keeping them occupied between courses.Friendly, helpful staff and very reasonable prices. Have also been to their "Fish Fryday" sessions, at 6:00 on the first Friday of the month, which offer a winning plate of fish and chips to provide the perfect end to a busy week.

Nothing is too much trouble at Zephs. Wide breakfast options, the breakfast bun is a favourite with us. The scones tend to be available from 10am, the cherry scones are supersize and super taste. Other cakes are available!

lovely setting, friendly staff, home cooked food and incredibly competitive prices - what is there not to love about Zeph's (plus a huge free car park with disabled parking outside). If you've not been or used them to cater for a party or business event you've definitely missed out

The scones here must be the best in Leicestershire! The sandwiches are lovely and it's perfect as the car park is really handy. Can't wait to come again as the staff are so welcoming 😊

Zeph's is a great cafe. Good value coffee and convenient for a business meeting in Oadby. Cakes look tasty too.

A great place to meet. Incredibly welcoming and as a vegan heartening to know that whilst their menu is a little limited they went to the effort of making it work for me without holding up our meal and keeping my business chums waiting. Warm and hospitable. Great value for money and fabulous parking! Looking forward to going back again very soon.

Lovely food and drink very reasonable and lovely homemade cakes would recommend if in the area. Have lots of events through out the year for children.

I visited here last week to meet a client and discuss Business. It was a fab alternative to some of the high street chains, with home made cakes and a friendly, warm, atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for Business or Pleasure.

Zeph's provided outside catering for a funeral at our church today, and the service included support from a delightful member of staff who was good hearted hard working, kind and positive throughout.

Fine dining it might not be, but a stopover at Zeph's is always an enjoyable interlude with good value, freshly cooked, wholesome food and friendly, attentive service in clean, comfortable, light, well kept surroundings. We certainly recommend Zeph's for what it is and long may it continue.

I often have business meetings in local cafes but often they are noisy, over priced and the cakes are not fresh. Zephs is a totally different experience all together! The service is great, the coffee is good and the fresh cakes are always so fresh! I have now begun to move most of my meetings here as its a great environment. I was also very pleasantly surprised to hear they are able to offer outside catering for events or parties.

It's a perfectly nice cafe with a few cakes and reasonable coffee. Don;t expect to be overwhelmed but there's nothing wrong with it.

Went into oadby for a trip out with my daughter to get a haircut at a friends salon and found this lovely cafe just off the parade, Children's menu was perfect for my little girl who is very selective of what she eats. My plaice and chips was lovely too. To top it off with lovely welcoming staff. Highly recommend. Was my first visit and most certainly not my last.

Nice little cafe in Oadby. Attached to church at the back of the main shoppers car park but is professionally run and there are few if any religious overtones.

Good and varied menu, excellent hot drinks. Friendly staff and spacious dining area. Can get very busy and staff sometimes struggle to clear tables promptly.

Tried one of the themed nights at Zephs and was rather underwhelmed. I had thought it would be decked out a little more and having to order your plated meal beforehand made it seem rather budget like despite the restaurant price charged. I have visited before for a coffee and it certainly benefits from car parking and a very clean appearance.

What a lovely cafe. I have eaten in here numerous times now both with my children and when meeting business friends. The food is fresh, the cakes are beautiful and they have friendly and efficient staff so you are not kept waiting for hours!

A delightful cafe in a good location with an adjacent car park. We have taken breakfast there four times and service and quality of ingredients is first class. The cafe adjoins a Methodist Church. The premises are spotlessly clean with a 5 star hygiene rating. Prices are very reasonable and disabled persons access is fine. They also do lunches, special evening dining and outside catering.

Very pleasant café serving excellent food throughout the day. Ideally situated next to a car park. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Premises very clean.
