Excellent night at the Zeera. We were treated like Rockstars! The food was great, the service was great, they appreciated our humour and were very attentive. The atmosphere brilliant. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Not bad but won't be rushing back anytime soon. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly but for me the food let it down. I don't like sweet curries so I stay away from ones that traditionally are. So when I order a Vindaloo I don't expect it to taste sweet and it was also very runny and not particularly hot! My garlic, chilli and cheese naan just tasted of cheese but my rice and saag aloos were nice.

Food was absolutely delicious, and staff were attentive. Definitely recommend.

Just wow!! My daughter and I visited on 3/9/2023.... The staff were above and beyond and the food was stunning! We literally gave ourselves stomach aches because we did not want to waste a bit. My daughter was treated like a princess and didn't want to leave. Thank you sooo much for our wonderful experience xx

Eighteen months on from my bad experience, and not set foot in this dump since. If you want to violently empty your bowels, this is the place to go to. This is the review I placed at the time - and not a single word has to be altered. "I recently moved to Llandrindod Wells and decided to treat myself with a restaurant meal TWENTY YEARS after a terrible experience with an Indian restaurant in my old town, where I had awful diarrhoea due to the shockingly bad hygiene. Exactly the same story with Zeera: the diarrhoea was so bad I disgraced myself and my jeans whilst walking around town the next day. I plan to live in Llandod until my dying day, and intended to go out to dine every two weeks to enjoy my retirement. At the visit to Zeera, I paid £20 for a meal, with beer. Therefore, by my reckoning of £20 x 26 weeks x twenty years, Zeera has lost my custom to the tune of £10,000. Never, ever again will I go into Zeera, and I urge all other customers to ignore the planted positive reviews and boycott this establishment."

The whole party said this was their best Saag Aloo ever! All the food was indeed very tasty, served with a smile and a bit of humour. We had a really lovely time and vegetarians were catered to well.

Dinner | £20-30 This was a fabulous and authentic zeera indian experience. The flavor profile of my tikka masala dish was brilliant. I'm starting to realize that almost every Indian restaurant I frequent in the UK is going to be stellar. Very reasonable prices, and authentic zeera Indian cuisine expertly and lovingly prepared. You won't be disappointed. Five stars

We recently moved to the area from a town where we had a dozen or more Indian restaurants, so we were a little concerned if this place wasn't as good as we've been accustomed to. Luckily it is!

We were staying locally and was recommended this place but to say we were disappointed is an understatement. - Sat by the door was freezing, we asked to move and they said no tables available. (When there was) - We waited 35 minutes to have our order taken and in total 80 minutes for our food to arrive. - the food was bland and no taste in the curry, very watery - service was appalling. There was a little guy who was great, apologetic and running around serving all the food where as the other 2 staff members were rude and didn’t care. Main issue here is that they favoured takeaway customers than dining customers which just didn’t work. Was really looking forward to this but was very disappointed.

Zeera, Llandrindod Wells is an Indian/Bangladeshi culinary breath of fresh air 'IF' you are looking forward to a pleasant, casual, relaxed evening of fine dining in pleasant surroundings. Good food, cooked fresh takes time, if you lack patience, perhaps Gregg's is a better fit for you. The food is excellent and well worth the wait. The place was packed on Saturday night advanced booking is recommended. We look forward to introducing our discerning friends to this restaurant.

Celebrating our wedding anniversary we picked a restaurant that was known to us but we had never been. It was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful, Food was served promptly and was hot, tasty and plentiful. As it was a Tuesday night the restaurant itself was quiet but there was a few tables being used. Doing a steady trade on Takeaways. We couldn't finish our meal so we got the food to go. A very enjoyable meal and restaurant.

Everything tasted way too sweet. The chef seemed to throw honey at all the curries. Left feeling a bit sick. The mix kebab stater was great though. Recommend keeping your order simple if you don’t want to be overwhelmed by sugar. The waiter was really nice, but the restaurant as a whole didn’t really have its act together. Food arriving before drinks, no ice in drinks, long wait for food, prioritising takeaways over dine-ins, just basic nonsense. All in all a pretty disappointing meal.

We were recommended to have a meal at the restaurant as we are staying local for a week.We can honestly say that we couldn’t find fault with anything; the food was amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Literally it’s the best Indian food we have had! We strongly recommend Zeera to anyone looking for a great Indian meal.

First time ordering from here and didn't disappoint. Ordered and paid via their online link from google, very easy to use and a varied menu. Ordered what we would usually order from other takeaways with a few of Zeera own specials. All excellent quality and tasty, one of the few times everything eaten with no leftovers. Definitely recommend.

Recently moved to area from West Midlands, so we have tried literally 100s of curry houses living so close to the Balti Quarter. Had our first take away this evening from Zeera and can honestly say, it is THE BEST curry we've ever had!!!! The chicken was perfect, literally melted in your mouth and the curry flavours themselves were perfection (Chicken Phal & Chicken Achari). Thank you, we WILL be back, most probably every week 🤗

The restaurant has a red theme decoration where even the light bulbs are handpainted in red, which I find a bit dark and not so exciting for a eating place. The menu has a great variety, the food was nice and tasty. For the main course, I had makani chicken, which was 5 small pieces of chicken breast in a mild sauce of butter, cream, coconut and mango. The waiters were slow and it took ages to have the bill, as the cashier/owner was very busy dealing with the take-aways and phone calls. It was good, the people with me enjoyed the food too but I had indigestion the whole night. Not very happy ending.

Good food last night but the wait is atrocious, ordered on munchala first of all to be rejected by Zeera, then rang and ordered said a 60min wait which is fine, got there on time to be stood in a cue for 40 mins plus with about 10 other people waiting for takeaways. People dining in trying to eat whilst we were all stood round waiting is not a nice feeling, poorly run by whoever’s in charge, needs to be more professionally run & organised! Had friends over who we haven’t seen in a long time, first ordered at 7, finally sat down to eat at 9:30pm! Two rice orders wrong also. Sort it out guys!

Appalling, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Ordered for pick up using their online order system, paid and money taken. Order time 60 minutes. Arrived 60 minutes later to pick up, had to wait a further 30 minutes in a queue only to be told my order not received despite showing the confirmation. I asked for a full refund and was informed I need to contact the 3rd party they use to accept orders. Still waiting for my money. Do not order food from this restaurant.

Ordered and paid online, waited half an hour after pick up time in the queue to collect the meal that we'd paid for, only to be told that they hadn't received the order and they would not refund the money. Whilst waiting did get chatting to a number of other people also waiting outside as the place had overbooked. We were not the only ones who walked away without a meal. I would rate zero if that was an option

Really good curry house, been here many times and tried most of the chef's specials. Defo recommend the chef's specials - got massive variety of flavours, far better than the generic slop variants that some curry houses churn out. Chicken pili pili is amazing and their jalfrezi is the best. Quality chef and really friendly and professional service.

Me and my partner came here for a meal whilst staying nearby on our honeymoon. We searched high and low for an Indian Curry House and drove for 40 minutes to get to Zeera due to the EXCELLENT reviews it already had. We consider ourselves to have tried lots of curries from lots of places (myself especially), and this place served us the nicest food of the lot. If you’re in the area - GO! You will not regret it.

For Zeera, read zero. And here we are, 24 hours later still don't feel ready to eat another meal. I opted for the lamb, thinking that would be a good choice in Wales. If indeed it was from the sheep family, I'm not sure if it was a young one... and by the way it resisted chewing... or rather actively fought back, I wonder whether it was a herbivore at all. My partner had a mango chicken thing... she described it as chicken jam, however it did seem to be chicken. That both of us ended up prostrate all night, fizzing and gasping like monstrous bio -digesters is probably what prompted me to leave this review, that, and waking up with a mouth filled with vomit, which included a lump of "lamb" , which, like a Glaswegian hardman, was back for more and "No going to be bossed aboot by an english man". All I can end this with, is hoping that the the complimentary Baileys they gave us, was indeed watered down with just water, and not something else easier to hand.

Really good food, with nicely developed flavours - well cooked with proper spices, and very generous portions. Well worth a trip.

Friendly staff, great ambience n great food. The Indian spicy food is customised n toned down for the local people but you can always ask to customise n they are happy to oblige. Even in the 11th hour the staff didnt lack their enthusiasm. Kudos. I highly recommend this place

Great Indian restaurant. Bit of a slower service which is good as you get a bit of a break between courses. Normally they rush you out. Garlic chilli chicken was awesome.

Stopped through the town for the night, felt like a curry and was not disappointed. This was the best curry in the UK I have had in a long time. The service was also excellent.

Thank you Zeera for our lovely take away last night. Chicken Tikka Bhuna, for me, and Chicken Madras for him - plus starters. Delicious. Just what we needed.

Excellent food whether taken away or eaten in (covid-19 allowing), with a good standard of service too. Understandably a bit more expensive than the only local competition (because the other is takeaway-only), but SO much better quality ingredients, preparation, texture and taste. Well worth paying that little bit more for.

Avoid. First and foremost, my stomach is in tatters after this meal. papadoms were stale, naan cold, chicken in chicken tikka possibly not cooked thoroughly. ordered "a coke and a diet coke" over the phone which to most prob means a can or single bottle but after he took payment he pulled out 2 giant bottles. should have mentioned that's all they have. tarka dal was very good.

The starter was fine then l had the main course, then 10 mins later l ran into the toilet and chucked up my food which l told the manager, but still he charged me for the meal. Plus it was my 15th wedding anniversary. Shameful

Decent Indian food with friendly staff

A warm welcome, fast service and very polite staff! The food was very tasty also.

I ordered a phall for takeaway last week, the guy taking my order suggested another dish with the heat of a phall but more flavours and depth. I went with his recommendation, it was one of the best curries I've ever had full of flavour and so hot I lost sight in my left ear. Going back next week for another one :)

1st time visit tonight on way to usual takeaway and I'm blown away with taste, quality, amount,(takeaway enough for 2) and cost. I ordered Lamb Naga Mustard,(Naga Bhut,Ghost Chillies) being clued up on the Scoville scale and knowing what to expect I wasn't disappointed. Would highly recommend this place as will now calling in regularly. Will be booking a table soon.

Lovely Indian restaurant, the food was just as I like it HOT & SPICEY and lots of flavours, the staff tended to all our needs, will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

A little gem , amazing food and the friendliest staff .

Food. was not fresh at all. It was not very authentic also..We had gone for a birthday celebration dinner but had a very dissapointing experience. Even the ambience and decor was very average.

Large selection of dishes and very attentive staff make for an all round good meal out. Not the cheapest but also a long way from the most expensive. One thing to note though, if you want Popadoms, ask for the number you want as they seem to be charged individually. I had the Lamb Sweet Chilli Podina which was cracking. There are a few english dishes but personally i dont see the point in them really. There is a reasonable selection of mild dishes as well. They do take away (collection only) and will put your leftovers into boxes so you can take them with you.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have visited. The service was quick and friendly, the food was very good and the menu had nice variety not just the run of the mill fare, we will definitely visit again, I would recommend going out of your way to visit if you're near Llandrindod Wells.
