Zeera in Aylesbury Vale

We've eaten here before and thought to go back. The food and service was excellent, the waiter was very attentive and although very busy we were seated, served and looked after very quickly. The food was very nice, I tried something different and whilst a little more spicy hot than I usually have was very good (HARI MIRCHI BHUNA GOSTH) .

Good food, nice & relaxed atmosphere. I’m bewildered by the amount of reviews that state the staff are rude, I’ve never had that experience at Zeera. I will continue to dine there. Best Indian restaurant in the area.

Tasty/hot food as always but unfortunately the last couple of visits the staff have been unfriendly and on the verge of being rude, makes for quite an uncomfortable experience…Which is a shame, as this is the best Indian in the area. I’m not sure what has happened at Zeera lately but maybe some customer service training is required.

So travelled here last night to meet with family at 8.30 for a table for 5 on arrival the place was nearly empty but was greeted by the most rude gentlemen ever didn’t acknowledge myself at all and when did response was no tables and that’s it. Never will return or recommended this place don’t deserve the business with this attitude.

Food was lovely, nice portions, fairly reasonable pricing. Service on the other hand was appalling. They messed up our order several times and then rolled their eyes when asked for the bits they’d forgotten. They were all dismissive and inattentive. Almost like we were an inconvenience. Despite the good food, we won’t be returning as the service was dreadful.

Always great food and a great service. The only annoying bit about our meal tonight was a rude and embarrassing man who was shouting at the top of his voice and threatening the staff over what he claimed was a cold meal despite the fact that when it was served to him and his wife, they ate it all and never complained. Chancer. I’ve eaten in this restaurant for years, I’ve never experienced a bad meal or a cold one for that matter. Some people seem to want to cause an argument over nothing and his attitude was so ridiculous. We also felt sorry for his wife who appeared embarrassed too. She left the restaurant upset and my only hope is this guy seriously reflects on his attitude and chooses to eat at home in the future. Spot on from the staff who handled his aggression professionally and as always, I continue to recommend a visit to this restaurant if you’re in the area.

Although meal was okay everyone was happy with meal. The staff were not too friendly service below normal standard In fact we will not be so keen to go back.

I had the most delicious meal here this evening. Food is very fragrant and you can almost taste every freshly ground spice separately. Chicken was cooked and marinated to perfection, meal not heavy nor oily, just perfect. I can not wait to come back next week with another friend. The people who work here are so friendly helpful and polite. I will always chose here, it is very reasonably priced also.

We’ve eaten at this restaurant many times and the quality and taste of the food has never failed to satisfy. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The prices are reasonable when you consider the good quality food and taste. I would recommend this restaurant for both dining in and take away. All round it’s an extremely good experience.

Food is absolutely delicious, parking behind, great service. Especially love the lamb/chicken naga. .

Love Zeera’s food, we had a delivery and it was hot and delicious as always, dhansak is delicious and I love their onion bhaji. So glad this Is our local. Always enjoy our meal whether eating in or takeaway, the service is always excellent 👍🏻

Have been coming here for many years and never had a bad experience. Food is always lovely and there's a wide range to chose from. Having visited since reopening since lockdown have seen all the measures put into place. Good to see taking everything into consideration and still providing fab food.

Table of 2. Arrived at 7:30pm. Ordered within first 20 mins, waited until 9:30pm for our meal having asked repeatedly from 8:30. Gave up. Paid for what we had (not a penny offered off that bill!) and left. Useless. Won’t return. Service non-existent.

We love zeera, we have tested out a few Indian takeaways in the area, and this is our favorite. Staff here are extremely friendly and provide A brilliant service. There was a slight error with our order which they corrected instantly. The food is amazing we will definitely be using them as our local! Thank you Zeera

This is a local to my family and I and this family run business is lovely. The atmosphere is great, food enjoyable and service excellent. We use this Indian restaurant on a regular for family gatherings, date night and seeing friends. Would highly recommend!

This is the second time we have ordered a Collection from Zeera and the second time a main meal was missing When ordering I ordered a chicken Dansak and later in the order I ordered another chicken Dansak but spicy One of these was missed off so we rang up and they said we only ordered 1 but everybody in the house agreed we ordered two. I asked that next time we do an order would they be prepared to give a free meal they said they would give me a free drink I replied this wasn’t good enough and the person on the end of the phone became very rude and aggressive I said I would put this on trip advisor and in a loud voice he said do what ever you want We have used the restaurant numerous times but never again Very disappointed it would of cost them nothing to give a free meal poor service and very poor customer relationships

What a poor service, I understand they was busy but the waiting time was too long! We came in as soon as they opened at 5:30pm and food didn’t arrive until 7:30 pm. What a joke! We was the first table in. Not a way I’d spend my New Years with friends.

We had a work do from amazon and some of my previous colleagues have been and highly recommended. Went with my team and they did not disappoint, had our own little section at the back. Made us feel very special. Considering there was about 20 of us and alot had never tried indian food before they done really well to give us everything and i mean everything correct!! Food was also served without having to wait too long even though they were quite busy. Waiters were very pleasant and made a good effort to remember some of our names which is always a nice touch. Will 100% be going back and could easily become my regular ☺️

We have visited many times but the last few times have disappointed, we thought we would give it one more chance but will not be returning. The service was extremely slow, although conscience it was a busy night 40 minutes to wait for a starter and a further 30 minutes for the main to arrive is not acceptable. Or it might be if what you received was amazing, sadly this wasn't the case. My dish bore no resemblance to how it was described and I only ate a few mouthfuls. Some waiters would ask if the dish was alright, not here. My husband said his dish was only ok.Sorry Zeera but we will not be giving you any more chances, too many other and better options.

A medium sized restaurant and take away, with parking. Locally popular booking would be advisable. Pleasent staff, good food and nice surroundings. Not overly expensive. Service is a litle slow on busy nights but this is normal in most Indian restaurants.

First time visit and setting looked nice. It was very slow all night to serve. Drinks took forever then the waiter couldn’t write our order correctly - we had to repeat it three times. Starters were average. Mains were average at best. It felt like old style Indian food, lots of bright colours and mushy sauces. When the waiter returned to clear our plates he had obviously been outside smoking as he reeled of tobacco, not very nice. Café Masala in Eaton Bray is in a different mass, would not go back to Zeera

The staff are friendly and always helpful, we sat in a booth which was nice as they are comfortable. The food was good although the starter had gristle in but I suppose this can happen in a sheik kebab, the main courses were really good the meat was tender and full of flavour. The only let down was the service as it was extremely slow and although there was only 4 of us we had to wait a long time between courses. At the end we was offered a complimentary drink which was nice and was also given a box of milk tray with our bill which I thought was a lovely touch and we all enjoyed them and took the rest home for later. I would recommend this restaurant and have dined here a few times and am not often disappointed with the food or service.

We have regularly had take away sand eaten in this restaurant which we have really enjoyed, However tonight we had a takeaway which was awful, the food was flavourless, and the meat in the dishes was incredibly tough. The order was incomplete and when we spoke with the restaurant they were very uninterested. I feel really disappointed as it was somewhere we had recommended to others.

Came to Zeera for a Christmas meal with friends. We could not fault the food which was gorgeous and hot. We went on a gourmet night so meal £12.95 each (great value) however when we received the bill we were shocked by the price of the soft drinks - 6 x pints of Diet Coke and 2 x pints of soda water = £36. We questioned this as it seems a little excessive when, as we were told we could have had 2 x bottles house wine for the same price! We were told that a pint of ANY soft drink is £4.50 whilst a pint of lager is £4.95. Luckily we continued to question this as all of a sudden they had the wrong price! But it was still going to cost us £31.80 - they did take it down to £30 but as I informed them nowhere on the bill does it say what drinks we had. We are hoping that service charge was not added onto it as clearly we didn’t want to pay anymore than we needed to! Bill paid ✅ Trip advisor done✅ will we be going back ❌ Such a shame

Seven of us had dinner and it was good. We had the gourmet meal and couldn't fault it. There is plenty of choice with different dishes from the other restaurants on the area. Shame there are no chocolates with the coffee as they used to have!!

Visited here last night with family. We have been here on many occasions and generally like it here. Last night the service was awful. Our waiters were miserable, borderline rude. We Had to wait for ages for drink order to be taken, and also the food order. Food eventually came out but I was served prawns instead of chicken! They took it back and then they brought out the correct dish. I had five measly bits of chewy chicken which looked lost in the dish! Rest of the food was okay to be honest but the evening was rounded off with a small group of drunk men on an opposite table, one of which vomited all down himself. Management continued to let them prop the bar up after this. We made a fairly quick exit after this. won’t be rushing back anytime soon!

Visited for a catchup with a friend. The food was lovely and the service was fantastic. The £12.95 gourmet night is fantastic value for money. Over all can’t fault it at all and I will be back!

We eat here pretty regularly and it is always very good, the food is always great, definitely one of the best in the area.

I was looking forward to it all week. I was surprised to get a table for 8.00pm on a Friday but pleased. When we arrived it was mostly empty, colour me shocked.

We have visited here a few times and we always really enjoy it. The staff are friendly and welcoming and you are always served quickly. This time it was excellent o couldn't fault any of it. We had poppadom's with a selection of chutneys (we love how many different chutneys you get). Then for our started we both had mixed kebab followed by a lamb jalfrazi with mushroom rice, chicken noorjanhani with keema rice and a garlic naan to share. Everything was cooked perfectly and each dish was packed full of flavour. This is our favourite local Indian restaurant and I would recommend going.

I organise a monthly beer and curry night for my workplace and selected this place to try with quite a few colleagues. Food was excellent, no oil on to to spoil it (something which I personally hate as it spoils an otherwise good dish). Service was present when required and efficient. Decor was decent. Trued many Indian restaurants throughout the country and this is quite high on the recommendations chart.

The restaurant is very nice inside, the initial welcome was not that warm but the waiters were friendly and attentive. The food was very nice but took a long time to arrive, probably because we were a big group. Nice touch was to have the table cloth swept after a course and hot towels to freshen up. Also a slice of orange was proved to clean the palette. At the end of the meal a tray of sweets was offered.

We were visiting Dunstable and decided to take our friends there on a Saturday night as they had received a few glowing references. We booked a table for 7:45 and arrived promptly and were shown to our table – we had wanted a booth but none were available. The restaurant was fairly full which we took to be a good sign – however, it all went down from there. The initial drinks arrived quickly but we then had a 20 minute wait for our food order to be taken. We then sat at the table waiting for the starters to appear and waited and waited- after a couple of complaints to the waiter, we were finally served at just before 9pm. Hopes of getting the main course a bit quicker were soon dashed as this did not appear until 10pm. By which time I was seething with anger at the way the waiter and his boss had just kept trying to fob us off by saying ‘the food is coming’ and had lost my appetite. The food was fairly average and my lamb dish looked like the meat had been thrown onto the plate and the sauce poured on top rather than marinated. Was glad to leave the place.

Had a lovely time with my family at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the food was served to us correctly. It took a bit of time between courses but I am hopping this is because the food is prepared to order.

Good consistent Indian fare,reasonably priced but has the same menu as every other Indian restaurant within 50 miles.So its boring....but the service is good. Its just..........boring

Wanted a quick evening meal and we stopped at the Zeera on the way out of Dunstable. Without reservation seated in 10 mins on a Saturday evening. Staff pleasant and attentive. We ate a lamb dish and a number of vegetable side dishes. With drinks and coffee £40 - good value. Food was tasty and unlike many other Indian restaurants it wasn't cooked in buckets of oil. Portions were not large but perfectly adequate. Interesting use of vivid food colourants in their pickle tray - this didn't look very appealing and avoided it.

My wife and I visited Zeera restaurant dated Monday 21 Aug 2017 based on recommendations made by friends and colleagues. On arrival (with lots of parking space at the rear) the ambience was good (even though we were the only one's there - early on a Mon eve) and we were shown to our seats. The seating area was nicely laid out with good space between tables so we didn't feel as though we were crushed together with other diners. The actual seating was comfy and clean though it did look a little tired with wear marks visible on all the seating we could see. The waiter arrived and then I gave him the bad news.. we were on a keto diet!! He wasn't fazed at all, he was very knowledgeable about the individual dishes we could eat and advised against eating others, even though I doubted the absence of sugar in some of the sauces he recommended we eat. The food we ordered (paneer shishlack / mixed tandoori grill / cauliflower bhaji and a chicken bhuna on his recommendation) arrived promptly served on warm plates and looked very appealing.

We regularly get takeaway and visit the restaurant so I thought it was about time we reviewed again. The food is still 10/10 and the staff are as friendly as ever.It's always a pleasure to go there with family, friends and the children and they always greet you with a big smile and have a chat.On Tuesdays and Wednesdays is gourmet night where you can have a selection of food for £10.95 I believe.The restaurant and toilets and always spotless.For four of us including drinks it came in at around £50 which is excellent.The food here is always spot on and the staff will always recommend something if you are stuck or slightly change the dish to suit.Out favourites are the duck hash special for starter and the murgh masala for mains! So much flavour and cooker to perfection!Will always recommend when anyone asks for a good takeaway or restaurant!Please keep up the good work!!

Didn't start well, parking is limited considering how many people can eat here ! And endless yellow lines outside, be warned go by cab !Prebooked, soon seated, drinks soon ordered, ( I don't usually eat Indian food). So bit unsure what to have, so with help did my best !Food served was very hot, and fresh, but had to wait a fair time for main course, (to be fair very busy) !Quite noisy as not a large restaurant, and was packed.Staff very good and attentive, no pressure to leave after meal.We left a good tip, as we felt they deserved it.We all said we enjoyed it, and would go again .Thank you !

Had a family meal here. Food was good, there were no issues with any of the dishes we tried and the portion sizes were average for other Indian restaraunts we have been to. As mentioned in other reviews, the colours of some of the dishes were shockingly bright. We didn't arrive until about 08.45 so this may explain the less than enthusiastic reception from the staff. The food was served fairly quickly but the waiters were not friendly at all. The food was not very hot when it was served but this might be explained by the falling temperature in the restaraunt as it got later. We were drinking our coffees at about 10.45 when we noticed our waiter had his coat on. The restaurant was then given a thorough vacuum but we still failed to take the hint that we should leave. Then as mentioned in a previous review, loud drum and bass music was played and we paid up and left. Nobody said goodbye as we left.Perhaps we caught them on a bad day. The food and speed of service was good but let down by the unfriendly staff. There are so many average Indian restaraunts in Dunstable and this is just another. I will return to my usual excellent restaurant in Luton next time I want a curry.

We have been ordering from Zeera for about 4 years (delivery) and has always been on time punctual and the food has been above average. Tonight however the food took 2 hours which was a shame, HOWEVER I don't know if you have changed chefs, or something else but our usual order was simply magnificent. One of the best curries I have had, and my partner agrees. Shame it was late, but what ever you did tonight keep doing it. It was exceptional. Thank you

I've been here several times and it's just as good every time I visit. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is outstanding. The staff are very attentive and polite. The food is delicious and worth every penny! The restaurant is spacious inside, many Indian restaurants that I go to the tables are so cramped, but it's great a very roomy restaurant. This restaurant also do take away and it is just as scrumptious!!Parking at the back is limited and it can get busy so book your table!! I absolutely love this restaurant! One of my all time favourites!

Good food in Zeera, plenty of curry houses to choose from in Dunstable and this is up there! Fantastic service also!

Food was lovely and there was lots of it. Was all a great price too. Being a vegetarian it can be difficult but there was a nice range of food available. Definitely come back again!

We are locals to this restaurant and we can't stop visiting, food is brilliant and if you go on tues or wed its £10.95 for a main, side, starter, rice or naan. Really good value and service is great. My son loves going and they are really good with him. Will keep going back.

Have been both to the restaurant and had home delivery. The food is of a very good quality and staff are very welcoming and friendly.Would recommend.

We have visited here a few times and always have fab meal. From. The starters to main and sides they are all just as delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating especially to my friend who was really struggling with the heat of her vegetarian Jalfrezi as she wasn't used to eating spicy food. They brought her water immediately as requested followed by some sweets which we thought was strange, we expected milk or yoghurt however the sweets instantly cooled her mouth and she was able to enjoy the rest of her meal. I really couldn't have faulted anything and will definitely be going back again soon

Family outing (5 of us). The service was painfully slow, I nearly ordered a pizza for delivery. we waited an hour and a half for the main course to arrive. The staff were not concerned. When it did arrive, I think it is fair to say it was, on balance, average. Some meat (lamb?) appeared to be vulcanised - best avoid the lamb shaslick. Other dishes were OK, but none were particularly anything to write home about. The music was interesting! Perhaps not everyone wants drum and bass with their tikka. My overall opinion was that the restaurant was run for the benefit of the staff rather than their customers.

We go to this restaurant as our weekly treat. Food is always very yummy an the staff are always happy to please.

OK... I heard good things and of the food I believe it. Just to say if you order a Chicken Tikka order it WITH Sauce otherwise it's is just the Chicken... So the serivice on the night we went was VERY... VERY Relaxed.We walked in and had to announce ourselves even though a guy was behind the bar keeping himself very busy.We sat down and again had to ask for menu's and then had to say we were ready to order.The food was OK after we added the sauce to our order.The table was cleared and we waited... and we waited... we decided not to have dessert so we asked for the bill, and we waited... and we waited,,, so we asked again and at last we were free to enjoy the rest of our evening.Now we are not complainers but we almost asked for staff discount we were there so long.So all in all Food OK a nice meal be prepared to push for service.

Nice cozy Indian in Dunstable. The food was nice, the restaurant is very well laid out and comfortable and the staff were attentive.Couple of small negatives. The portion sizes -especially for the samosas -was rather small and the vegetarian options were limited compared to other places.That a side would definitely recommend this place.

Stop outside here on my bike before a group ride every day for the past two years so decided it was time to take the plunge and finally head in!what i found wasprompt friendly servicegreat valueamazing food!great set menu for dinnergreat atmosphere for a date!at the end we were the only ones left in the restaurant and the staff still couldn't have been nicer eveen though we were probably stopping them from going home!cant wait to head back!

We have visited Zeera a few times,as a couple and as a part of a larger group. The food is always good and offers a different choice to the usual 'curry house' menu. The 2 chilli rating is pretty accurate, but none the less very tasty. We've had excellent service the majority of the time, although as with a previous review on one occasion there was a healthy spacing between starter and main. - The staff are friendly and polite. The bonus was the cost, quite reasonable for a group of four.

Although we are Folkestone people, my son and his girlfriend live 5mins walk from zeera. Visited twice 14/16 Aug 16, for us the food is always worth waiting for. We are slowly eating our way through the enjoyable varied menu. Hopefully will return shortly, the banquet evening 4 courses for £10.95-is a must on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Yes zeera is our numero uno, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere and no rush on courses. Well worth a visit, just down the road from Dunstable downs, on the tring road. Go for it!!!

Superb food, full of flavour and great value for money. Lovely friendly staff and a great atmosphere inside the restaurant. Would definitely eat here again. The best curry house I've been to by far.

Arrived at restaurant today to bring my partner out for birthday dinner, upon arriving the waiter seemed to be bemused by waiting us, had to wait an hour before starter came out, followed by a 45min wait for main and in the mean time having to deal with a waiter throwing our plates half way across the table because he couldn't be bothered to place them. Food was mediocre and service terrible, will not be visiting again unless it's changed to my grand parents house and I'm there to visit.

Went here on Saturday 30th July 2016 with my partner. Absolutely divine food and Beautiful place. Fabulous from start to finish even the Coffee was Lush. Our first time here and won't be the last. Pleased try Zeera on Ocean Road.Booking is Recommended mind. The only fault I had was I had booked my table for 8pm and was sat in door way with menu. The problem was the 25min wait for our table. We booked and was sat in door way not good. But Hey the Food was Delicious and not put me off. Hope we get seated promptly next time. Thanks for a Great night and the toilets are Beautiful too.

Normally I praise this restaurant a lot but on this particular visit I wasn't impressed.... took an hour to recieve mains ..when I complained the waiter was more interested in how my partners food was .....Maybe because I was female...no sorry just excuses....was far more concerned about my partner than me even when it came to ordering food or drinks ..we haven't been back since because of this and we arnt planning to either.

Managed to get a big booking, party of eight, at last minute. With four kids the service had to be good and attentive, which it certainly was. The food was great from kormas to the hotter varieties. Well reccomended

It's always got a good atmosphere and is always busy do would reccommend pre booking a table to prevent disappointment. Great food, fill of flavour and reasonable priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Have eaten here a few times and always enjoy it. Good tasty Indian food, cooked fresh. Mid week they offer a gourmet night for £10.95 person which is fantastic value and that includes a start, main incliding rice or naan and a side dish.

Hadn't been here before, was very impressed with everything from, decoration, cleanliness, staff and food. The waiters couldn't have been more attentive and efficient.Although it isnt that close to home would not be at all disappointed to eat here again. Only downside, the air conditioning was too effective!!

We had a takeaway from here a few weeks ago. It was beautiful food, very fresh and non oily! Fast delivery and reasonable price.

This is our most favourite place to eat and we go at least a couple of times a month. The team are friendly and attentive and the food is incredible! Everything is so flavoursome and beautifully cooked and is never swimming in grease like other local establishments. I would recommend Zeera to anyone!

Indian food is my all time favourite, suffice to say I've tried alot of indian restaurants!Zeera is definitely my favourite. The food is truly delicious, the meat is always tender (something that is always as issue with your fave local at some stage or another) and the service very attentive.Chicken bhuna is the best around!

Visited last night. Food was cold. They heated the food up and when it came back half of it was missing. They forgot all about my side dish. It arrived 10 minutes after my main dish. Service was terrible.

Ordered a delivery from Zeera last night and was really impressed with the food and service. Very friendly and what a great meal. Spice and flavourings spot on for my wife and I with a mixture of meat and vegetarian dishes. The chef really knows his or her stuff.If you've read my review on The Pavilion in Markyate you will know I'm not easily impressed!!

We have eaten here before and it was nice so thought we would try again, I love the selection of sauce that fine with the freshly cooked pappadoms, The starters however were very disappointing and I was very put off by the small black hair that was in the shish kebab that came with the mixed kebab starter, I showed the staff and they apologised be offered to replace it but we said no,they a,so removed it from the bill. The main meals were delicious though and we couldn't fault them, served quickly and on red hot plates. I would definitely go back despite the problems with the starter as the main meals were delicious.

We have just arrived home from a lovely meal and great service at Zeera Indian restaurant Sunday 13th March,. It has been quite a while since visiting and thought we would try it on a normal menu and not on the buffet night that used to be on offer. We are so pleased we did as the Chicken Dansak and Chicken Pathia was delicious. The service was nice and friendly, the house wine was very good and we could not fault the evening.We will go back, I am not sure what has changed to make it so much better, but it was a good move, well done Zeera, Thank you.

Me and my partner came out for Saturday night. Staff were friendly enough but nothing to write home about. Meal came and was just a bit bland. We have been here before about a year ago and was really impressed I don't know whats changed. The staff did seam a bit unorganised on the night we came hopefully it was just a one off.

Went here with partner and my family. The food wasn't bad but both mine and one other's dishes had an incredible amount of food colouring in - what ought to have been a fairly normal orange-brownish coloured sauce was dark red. The service was also poor - they seemed flustered when we turned up, even thought we'd booked a table for six, and didn't take our coats, meaning that we were wedged into one of their booth-like tables with all of our stuff. Drinks consistently needed chasing up before they arrived and we waited about an hour for starters, and then another hour for mains. When the bill came they gave us a tray of jelly beans and other sweets... they could have just left the tacky gesture.But, food tasted good (though it looked bad) and there were some nice things on the menu.

We came here for a birthday as a group of 8.We had been a few months ago and had a good meal. I have a dairy allergy and was told every dish had milk in. After a lot of discussion they agreed to make a meal from scratch (which you think they all are) they pressured me for my choice so the chef could get started as again they said "it's being cooked from fresh".We had half hour before the others had their order taken and had to wait an hour for our mains. They made 2 mistakes with the drinks ordered too.Everyone's meals were okay and 2 members of the party suffered with upset tummies.Definitely will not return.

Ordered takeaway for £25 lamb tikka biryani , lamb refried yesterday's meat ..Bombay aloo plain boiled potatoes no tomatoes onions or sauce ,and as for the hariali chicken disgusting !Chapati cold and uncooked Would not recommend

The stand-out quality of this restaurant is, importantly, the food. The dishes I usually choose are the best I've had, not just in Dunstable but anywhere. For an evening out, we always head to Zeera. It's uncomplicated, consistently excellent, and friendly. Restaurant is airy and pleasant and very clean.

We were recommended Zeera by a friend. We decided to go to one of their Gourmet Evenings at a fixed price of £10.95 per person. We were greeted by a very friendly waiter and as we were escorted to our table we were acknowledged by the other waiters. We looked around and even at 6:30 at night the restaurant was buzzing with happy diners. We ordered our drinks and were left in peace to choose our meal. The range of dishes on the menu was fantastic with unusual choices. When asked the waiter was very informative and knowledgeable. The food was of the highest quality we have ever experienced - a real delight. We felt very relaxed in the atmosphere and at ease to eat our meal at our own pace. After our meal we were offered a complimentary drink while our bill was drawn up. The staff were very smartly dressed, all wearing the same tie and tie pin - shows the standards expected by the establishment. Before we left we looked around the dining room to suss out where we could sit when we book the family in for a treat!!! Excellent - we will return soon.

Visited in the busy pre - Christmas season. We had a very good service. But the food was simply divine. Excellent choice and not just your usual masalas and kormas. I love the decor as well, reminded me of upmarket Indian restaurants in USA. The only let down was my mango kulfi that clearly wasn't made in the restaurant but bought. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend it.

Definitely my favourite place to eat out. Lovely decor the amount of times I've wanted to sneak out with the beautiful elephant that greets you at the door. The service is always very pleasant and they go to great effort to remember their regulars. They offer a complimentary drink while you wait to pick up your takeaway. The food is just to die for. And I will be immensely sad when I move house and it will no longer be my local. I promise to visit as much as I can!

I really enjoyed the food, the staff were very helpful and friendly, well most of them. Good selection of choices available, great value for money on gourmet night. We had quite a lot of good left over as it was very filling so asked if we could take it home, they said no problem but when they brought it out in a takeaway bag, half of it was missing, when I questioned where it was, I got the impression they didn't like that, they then brought some of it out but we was still missing naan bread and the mushroom rice. I didn't bother asking again I just feel they should have packaged everything we asked seeing as we paid for it.

Tried a curry recommended by Onik. It was absolutely delicious! I would recommend you check it out. Nice environment, service and venue and I got served one of the best curries I've had!

Having been to this restaurant before and enjoyed the visit, we were disappointed in our last meal there. We had a friend over from Germany so booked a meal for the Tuesday evening. Firstly we were shown to our table from an unsmiling waiter, who, when we asked him to take our coats just threw them on the seat next to my wife, we explained we wanted them removed as we did not want a chance that food would be dropped on them.After he had hung our coats up still unsmiling he took our order, my wife chose a meal she had had and enjoyed previously. On this occasion it had very little taste causing her to leave most of it. Another waiter who was pleasant and smiling asked if everything was O K we told him the meal was not very tasty and he said he would tell the chef. No more was said by way of explanation or apology.Tuesday night according to the menu has an offer of £10.95p per person. When the bill arrived we were charged full prices off the menu. As we had a guest we decided not to make a fuss and embarrass her. Our guest did in actual fact remark on the sullen waiter. As its within walking distance of our house we may go back, but not very soon.

We regularly get takeaway from here and we always have a nice meal! They always ace the food ready when they say which is a bonus! We have used the restaurant on several occasions with friends and it's always top service! The food menu is great and the staff are always checking to see if you need anything! They are always willing to help you pick something other than your usual which is nice.They have buffet nights, which is about £13 for a starters, main, side and rice or naan. This is great value and you always get full portions. It's been busy whenever we have gone in at the weekend so I would recommend to book!

Good food, good service (none of that overly attentive waiters like most curry houses), and a nice interior for a night with friends.Duck curry and pilau rice was excellent.Mark deducted for less than clean washroom and a not do nice Calypso coffee.I would recommend.

first time here you are made to feel very welcome the service is spot on,you do not feel rushed to order if you are not sure of a dish it is explained. went on a special gourmet night , every tuesday and wednesday from 5.30pm to 11.30pm which includes 1 starter, 1 main course , 1 side dish, 1 rice or naan 1 coffee. from £10.95 per person . which was ample the portions are very good,the food was gorgeous! After you had eaten your meal,the table was cleared & cleaned.If you wish you can order a sweet but not included in the price. After requesting the bill, you are presented with sweets, and offered a drink on the house which you can choose if you wish. What i really liked about this restaurant was the very relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous food, and attentive staff.Recommend you try zeera.

decent food decent price for a group visit can't really complain we were all tired after a long day out and all left satisfied with food and full.

Lovely restaurant on the outskirts of Dunstable with parking (albeit a little tight!) Service is attentive and friendly and the food is superb! Very good value on their buffet nights! Would definitely recommend.

Really impressed with food, have lived in dunstable a year and tried a few different places and not been very pleased so we are very happy to have found this place!
