My best place for Moroccan food , delicious tagines couscous , fish bourek very yammy and the harira soup is just amazing

Arrogant and awful. It’s such a shame, this could be a good place but the staff, namely I think the owner, is so rude it’s not a pleasure to be there. The music is like being in a disco, the cook smokes outside, we saw him three times, the food is quite substandard, we were hoping for a great meal, we got poor service and sub standard food.

Terrible service and bad attitude of staff. Don’t bother giving them your money. Music way too loud and food poor.

Zayane certainly lives up to its recent designation of a L’Assiette Michelin, or Michelin Plate - the newly introduced award by Michelin which indicates "restaurants where the inspectors have discovered quality food". You'll be hard-pressed to find a better Moroccan restaurant in London that succeeds in faithfully presenting the authentic flavours of the region while at the same time unostentatiously modernising the cuisine where necessary. And our compliments to Chef Joe Mortell and proud mother Meryem for producing a dish as sensational as the lamb shank - a tagine which, we'd wager, might just be the best tagine in London! Lovely food, lovely staff. I would definitely recommend the brunch, every dish was beautiful and a call back to Morocco.

Terrible people. Do not go. service is less than 1 star. We could have eaten food of the floor that it would have been nicer.

Looking through a list of pic from other guests, got an impression that either I took a wrong meal or I was at another place. It wasn't bad, but also nothing special. A lamb tagine I took was not that big portion - a few mash potatoes and meat bone. The meat didn't taste that good, unfortunately. So, literally, I stayed even a bit hungry. The service was very friendly, so I decided to give extra tips to that included in the bill.

So when we arrived there was only one table taken and the couple were leaving... not much left on the plates so I took it as a good sign even though it was quiet in comparison to other restaurant on Golborne Road. I was with a mixed group of friends with different dietary needs for allergy and religious reason so their menu in the window looked good... We sat in the window watching and listening to crazy Golborne Road flea market... it is better than TV. The staff were friendly and recommended a lot of dishes.. I thought it can’t all be good.. WRONG! Omg the food and the decor don’t match... how this chef has not been stolen by some restaurant investor is beyond me; the food is worthy of a wedding proposal! So the food we had was: Roasted almonds which are warm and made on site, combined with the grilled haloumi - they popped! My taste buds had a party!! Prawns Peppers Aubergine Grilled monk fish Squid Cauliflower We had all those dishes and they were so good we re ordered some dishes, prawns and peppers and we took the almonds home. The food is fabulous and I will be back. The menu is good and offers main dishes and a set menu - it is all good I hear and having eaten the Tapas I now believe that statement. When I get rich I will be stealing this chef to work in house! And if you like a drink bottle of wine starts at £12! Non alcohol they do lots of organic tea, juices and have a full stocked bar so can make non alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails.

Found this lovely friendly restaurant, by chance and what a find. Very friendly welcome, excellent food...would give 5 stars but Olives were a little bit dry, and bread didn’t come with oil, and balsamic.....but waitress brought us some as soon as we asked. The mains we had were really good...add a good choice of beer and wine, excellent service...I would highly recommend...we will definitely go back. Thank you to the waitress who was extremely helpful and friendly.

My girlfriend and I were visiting London and just wandering around the neighborhood when we stumbled upon Zayane. We decided to have a drink, but after loving the atmosphere and cocktails, we had to stay for dinner and ended up staying for hours, eating and drinking. The staff were so kind and made us feel incredibly welcomed from the start. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stumble upon! Good people, good drinks, great food.

I booked up this place after seeing the reviews. I've been dating Natasha my g/f for 5 months and we've eaten in some great places but the food here came top! Firstly service was excellent! Attentive but not so much so that it felt uncomfortable. We've all been places where you take a sip and the waiter appears to "top up" the glass. Drinks reasonable price and a great selection of wines and beers. There are also home made fruit smoothies. The food....well nothing short of amazing. I can see why this place won Michelin Plate for last two years. I had short beef rib which was literally melt in the mouth and Natasha had lamb terrine with apricots and almonds. Wonderful! Surroundings were tasteful and relaxing. And the cost? Well I have to say - excellent value. We will both be eating here on a regular basis as we are working within a mile away plus we are going to bring a big group of friends back next month. Don't miss out - try it for yourself - you will NOT be disappointed.

I booked Zayane for dinner with a group of friends after finding it online. We ordered a selection of the tapas to share. The food was delicious, fresh and authentic. The two staff were very helpful and attentive. And to top it off, it was very reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend and hope to go back sometime.

My friends and myself were very impressed with the food quality and flavour, they took the Moroccan flavour to another level, what an amazing chicken skewers Nicley présented and the aubergine compote was very delicious, I couldn’t stop asking for more, the freshly made Moroccan break, took me to the old medina where ladies selling bread and the smell brings you from far away. The restaurant wasn’t full but all the other customers were impressed with the food flavour, I think it worth to come again and again, I would like to recommend it and give it another try it’s really nice to be there and the service and the decors were very very nice.
