The food was yummy and quick service

I was at the restaurant around 12pm. One of the staff came and told me that they will open at 12:30pm. At 12:15pm, the staff came out again and asked me if I had a reservation. I told him that we didn't and can I make one. The staff told me that the restaurant will be full even though it didn't have anyone inside it.

The food tastes great, but the portions are small and rice needs to be ordered srparately. Items ordered were mistakenly forgotten. There is a minimum charge of 18£ per person. It's not a big deal as prices are around this range, but it is good to know.

Very fast service. The food was tasty and very well made. The atmosphere was nice and friendly and the waitstaff has been very helpful.

This restaurant was amazing!!!! 💖 we had butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, paneer, naan (garlic and cheese) and pappadoms. Everything was great and fragrant. Would 100% go back again. Unfortunately forgot to take pictures cause we dug straight into the food :p but wonderful.

very nice and typical, the waiters are kind even if not all of them know English well and therefore you have to be careful when they speak. the food was really excellent and pleasant. defects: the water costs a little more than normal 2 waters £9... they got an order wrong and took it to another table, then they corrected themselves and served us the requested dish, so no problem.

Authentic, delicious indian food which get served really quickly. The service is also very friendly. Would recommend

i really recommend this place but you should know that is rather busy and it might be difficult to find a table, obviously because it is so good. we tried a lot of plates and they were all delicious. the only thing i would say is that they were not well organized with taking orders because when we ordered two more nans they gave them to another table, but soon they brought us another one.

Small place in south Kensington, the food is ok but the rest a let down. The don’t serve alcohol, but have alcohol free options available.

Khan’s of Kensington was delightful! A cozy restaurant with great servers who knew the menu well.

The food had a slightly sweet taste and lacked salt, which made the flavors feel a bit unbalanced. It could have used a little more seasoning. The restaurant’s design feels outdated and could use a refresh. The atmosphere was decent, and the service was fine, but the overall experience didn’t quite meet expectations.

Quality is getting a bit worse - the murg tikka which in the past was impeccable this time was dry and a bit heavy, the murg tikka masala and naan were OK but nothing special. The price was more competitive before given thr quality

The best Indian food I’ve ever had! The lamb pasanda is incredible—rich, flavorful, and remind of my homemade curry lamb, but with an extra touch of creaminess, possibly from coconut milk? It truly elevates the dish. The Indian bread is a huge hit with the kids—they can’t get enough of it and practically wipe their plates clean with every bite! The only downside was the chicken, which was a bit dry, overcooked.Otherwise, this would be a perfect 10/10 meal!

An impromptu choice for Sunday lunchtime, and a real success. Tandoori mixed grill, onion bhajis, green chicken curry, and prawn biryani were all first rate, did three people nicely, and the wcs were spotless. £85 including service (tap water only). Reccommended

The food is second to none, not too spicy but cooked delicately and with attention to the flavors of northern India. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Kensington!

The curry is delicious. But the green curry was just so-so.

The food was good but very mild and not spicy. We ate 5 different dishes and none could be called hot. The naan was fresh and good, the lassi as expected. The tulips on the table were nice and the music was not too loud. Very friendly staff.

What a great hidden gem of a restaurant. We ordered the tikka masala, green curry chicken, and cucumber raita. Along with garlic and butter naan. Everything was so delicious and came out quickly and hot! Great service and atmosphere. We will be back.

We had dinner at Khan’s of Kensington yesterday. The food was nice, but not amazing. The service was fine, but the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. The restaurant itself is quite small, with tight table arrangements, which made it feel a bit cramped. Despite having a reservation, we were given a hard time about our table initially, which wasn’t the best start to the evening. While the meal was enjoyable, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. Decent spot, but not sure I’d rush back.

Went here last year for Valentine's Day. I've had Indian food out of a pouch better than this. Was so excited to eat Indian Food on my first trip to London but it was miserable. I still think about it and thus felt compelled to come back almost a year later to write a review.

The food is ok but overpriced with portions of somethings ridiculously small. Avocado starter had one half with a small spoonful of shrimp on top. They didn’t have one drink on the menu even though there aren’t many to begin with. Mushroom rice just had boiled mushrooms in standard rice. Tables far too close together. It’s like dining with the people either side. Wouldn’t return.

Got the platter for two, and every item was delicious. Food was fast and hot and plentiful, and service was polite and conscientious.

Chicken Biriyani is terrible. But flavorful and the chicken chunks are bland and dry. The Rogan Gosht is great. Very little service. Had to wave down for water and check.

Our food, service, and experience was fantastic. Everything about our meal was absolutely delicious. Our server was very helpful with answering questions and giving suggestions. I was especially impressed when a miscommunication happened with my wife’s dish and they brought out a course that was entirely different from what we understood it to be. Due to this, they brought it back and fixed it up to match her expectations. I highly suggest the Murg Balti and the Paneer Tikka Masala. Both dishes were fantastic. Could not recommend this place any more.

Best Indian food I've had! Delicious, the flavors are just right. If you can't handle spicy well, don't worry there are plenty of delicious options that aren't spicy. Blown away! We had Tikka Masala and Arkwala 👍👍

After seeing the Natural History Museum, there is a delicious Indian restaurant nearby. The green chicken curry is spicy and perfect for Korean tastes, and you should also try the lamb chop.
