Me and my friend went to zamnig last night and we wernt disappointed :) the 2 ladies working wer lovely and the service was great. Really welcoming. Best plantain I have had and we also had beef and jollof rice it was lovely we will be back :) thankyou

5* if I could give more I would. My sister and friends dined at Zamnig on Saturday and it did not disappoint. The food was authentic and the staff were fantastic. You NEED to try this , you will NOT be disappointed. We left feeling full and content. Thank you again Zamnig, it was worth every penny.

We had the best experience at Zamnig restaurant, the food tastes absolutely unreal and the staff were incredible. We travelled from hull to try this restaurant after seeing it on Instagram and I can honestly say it was worth the 7hour round trip. You NEED to try this , you will NOT be disappointed. The jollof rice is spicy but not seasoned enough. The fried rice taste more like garlic rice with little vegetables. I’d suggest ordering both and mixing together to get some flavour. With regards to the fritters/puff puff, it was bland, not sweet and burnt. Delivery arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected but didn’t show up on JustEat. Overall, it’s a restaurant for an older person who can’t have salt for their cholesterol or sugar.

Unfortunately we have had a different experience to others. Our chicken was incredibly dry. It was just like chewing rubber and it couldn’t actually be swallowed. The description of the chicken says “not spicy but full of flavour”. This was not the case. It was far too spicy. We have eaten two bites and we are now ordering a KFC. Very disappointed.

Always great service and excellent food. This is our favourite place to eat. It's a family atmosphere for sure and the customer service is top notch.

This is one of the best African restaurants I have ever been to. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. The food is delicious and reminded me of my mother's cooking. Felt at home. The staff are very friendly and have so much respect and treat you like family than a customer. They speak to you and they come and regularly check on your satisfaction of not just the food but everything. Holistic approach. Thank you Zamnig. We will surely be back

We wanted authentic food and this place does not disappoint. Went to collect and very surprised to get a phone call to say the food was ready to collect. The soup and the chicken was delicious. We will be returning to sample more of your menu.

I have ordered from here before and the food was delicious unfortunately the second order was disappointing. One missing item, delivered late and some of it not cooked properly.

Now to start with I will say the food was late. But… that being said! I would of waited all night for it! Wow! Rice! Amazing! Spicy sauce! Mind blowing! The boerewors sausage! Spiced and tasty… Just wow! Very happy with my order! Thank you

I have actually had both dine in and delivery experiences and both lunch and dinner and both were great . Very good ambience , professional staff, very neat area and food was very tasty with good varieties and they won’t keep you waiting when you are hungry ! Delivery service was top notch too with very good speed and packaging. Overall excellent !

Lovely and friendly experience. I had the pepper soup and the suya. The meat was quality and delicious. I only wish the portions where slightly more only because I loved it so much. Definitely will be ordering again.

Delicious egusi and quick service

Don't claim to sell "African food" when you are selling bland versions to cater to the market!

Never had African food before. Thought I’d give it a go and was very pleased with it. Hot quick and very tasty. Had the mixed meat soup tho which was a bit spicy for me but tasty. Loved the chicken and jol rice. Will definitely order again.

Great food rice fish chicken can't get better... Have been eating here for years and the flavour is as good as when they first started....

I'm Ghanaian fist off, i have tried a lot of Egusi Stew but this is on another level. The pounded Yam was freshly made as it was piping hot. My friends and I, 5 in total ate Jolof rice with chicken and Fish on the side. I must say the filleted fish was a bit dear in price. However, everything is expensive now therefore I could relate. Everything was delicious. I would only recommend "Zamnig" to give a bit of the tomatoes stew on the side as it was bagging and we could taste the ginger. The spiciness was not exaggerated, it was almost perfect.

My jollof rice had black burnt rice mixed in which obviously stood out, I cant say I am impressed about it,if not for being a customer before I know they are capable of cooking good food, I am hoping this wont happen again.

Ordered Jollof rice and got special rice but was still really impressed, the food was lovely, delivery driver was so sweet too and didn’t have to wait long to eat wither. Will order again for sure :)

I love their fish and sadza and cabbage. When I want to eat traditional food I haven’t cooked I go to them.

I had my Birthday meal at Zamnig and it was an entire experience. The food was amazing, fresh and moreish. The whole party ordered extras to takeaway. We listened to good music, the ambiance and vibe was perfection. The staff are friendly and polite they could not have done more for us. I would recommend this restaurant 100%. We did true enjoyment.

Really tasty authentic cuisine - quality meats and deliciously cooked to perfection. The beef was a litte bit spicy hot for my middle-aged white lady palate(!) But the flavours were incredible, really impressed and would certainly recommend! So glad I tried something new! Will order again.

Ordered from here because I fancied something different and they were rated well. I've been to a couple of places in Africa before and enjoyed the food, so this was a good option. The food was simple and straightforward, but there was plenty of it and it tasted great. The guys who delivered were great as well, clearly enthusiastic about their food and very friendly. Will try the Boerworst next time :)

This is fast becoming my guilty pleasure on a Friday after a long week of work! Food was piping hot, large portions, tasty & delivered with a smile plus great value for money! All this sets you apart in my view from other restaurants - please keep up the standards. Thank You!!!

Throughly enjoyable meal, my first taste of African food and plantains. Would highly recommend this place. Jollof rice, a generous serving for the money, ditto the coleslaw.

First time ordering from here. Have tried other places in the area and was not impressed. Saw the good reviews on here and thought I'd try these guys out Food was delivered fast, hot and very tasty. The jollof is great as was the egusi. Really good pounded yam also. Will definitely order again and would recommend... Being able to get Nigerian Fanta is a big plus !! If I could give you one piece of advice / request. It would be good if you have the option with the egusi for assorted meat or fish. The meat was good but I'm a big fan of fish with egusi .. so maybe next time 😊😊

First time order, initially I thought it was expensive but when I got the food... The price matched the portions, pretty big. The food was well made and was still hot when it got me. The man from the restaurant who delivered the food was pleasant. Overall very happy with my experience and the food was tasty

I have taken the time to give my feedback again because I have paid £6.50 for a large Portion of Beef in Tomatoe sauce. The Portion was not large, when there are 5 small peices of meat and not enough sauce to cover the meat,thats not large. This makes me consider buying from them again, as I let it go several times, but this time I think I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere from tonight on. The delivery driver is always polite, friendly and respectful,food is healthier than other takeaways on Just eat,portion sizes of the meat is not worth the price at all especially if I am also paying 2.50 delivery too,smh

The food was no way cooked fresh and tasted bland like it had all been reheated the rice was mushy not much flavour and nothing in it the chicken all om the outside was dry like leather as though it had been pinged in microwave to reheat. The only good thing it was quick to deliver probably because it was all reheated very disappointed after I had many jollof rice before always packed with flavour and even added peas in at least

The food is perfectly seasoned and the portion sizes are really good as well. There’s absolutely no grease in the food either. Will be ordering again.

Great delivery service as usual. We ordered the extra large chicken and jollof rice package, and unfortunately, the chicken and rice were not up to the usual high standard - the rice had more salt than usual and the chicken we received, tasted as if it had been previously frozen, then defrosted, and tomato sauce added on top. The chicken we received a few days prior was fresh, so this was a bit disappointing, as I was looking forward to a yummy meal after a long day at work. The beef and coleslaw, however, were very tasty.

This was my first time ordering, I hoped the reviews were accurate and they were. The food arrived piping hot, well packaged and generously portioned, I had enough left over for another meal. I ordered the fried rice, chicken, fish fillet, plantain and the sauce. It was a great alternative to cooking at home and very tasty.

Food was amazing, I’m so happy. My whole family of 5 (2 kids and 3 adults) loved the food and was full up with lots of food left over. 100% recommend. We had the Jollof rice, chicken, extra signature tomato sauce ( stew so yummy) and plantain (fried perfectly). Good heat levels too, just a small kick!
