Zalos Cafe in Warrington

We visited this cafe for breakfast with our children (3 and 5yr old). Best scrambled eggs I've ever had ! I was also impressed that this was a cafe which was welcoming towards families. The staff were friendly and the food delicious. Welcoming atmosphere. Good menu choices. Nothing to fault!

I called in for breakfast while visiting the area on work. Decent menu had full English with Coffee. Nicely cooked but from the minute I sat down I felt rushed. It was busy but I got my bill given to me within 20 seconds of finishing my coffee. They could not wait for me to clear the table. Staff were quite rude I won't be returning again.

Great service lovely food. Eat here most weekends and have done for years. However it can be a little noisy when the ice maker is being used to make milkshakes, the music playing and people speaking loudly to be heard.

Fantastic location for people visiting from out of town. Staff very attentative and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was delicious. I will certainly be visiting again and would definitely recommend to family and friends

Have been coming here since opening and also through lockdown. Consistently good service and excellent food, always consistent Really value this as my ‘place to go’ as my treat, with friends, family and also alone with my paper 😝

Cannot fault this restaurant it's become my favourite place to eat. Food always cooked to how you request and staff always ask about food allergies before taking your order. Clean with helpful staff, excellent menu to choose from. It does get busy around lunch time and you may have to wait for a table but the staff do their best to accommodate diners. It's a must to try their cakes.

This is the best place to eat. My daughter and I had a lovely late breakfast today. Its my very favourite place to go, the atmosphere is great the owner is so lovely he spent time to tell us how he and his family set up the business in the UK. Its a credit to them and they deserve every success. I buy friends and family gift vouchers for presents. I absolutely love the Turkish breakfast. Wish I could give it 6 out of 5 * Well done zalo 's

Top class cafe with excellent menu and brilliant quick service even when busy. Obviously a popular place...arrive early for breakfast at the weekend! Very efficient, professional staff... friendly but not intrusive... perfect. If you are sick of standard English breakfast this is the place to eat...amazing Turkish breakfast and excellent coffee. Gluten free no problem.

Friendly staff. Clean inside & out. The menu selection is fantastic. Highly recommended the Turkish breakfast. Also, the big club is fantastic. I attach a photo of the big club (I had eaten most the chips before I remembered to take it). Plenty of chips, generous fillings & it tasted great. Overall it’s the best cafe in Stockton Heath.

Service was quick for a busy cafe, but felt it was too expensive for the food we were served. Also felt pressured by the server to leave a tip when paying with the card machine. Sadly, I think we will try somewhere different next time.

I tend to pop in to Zalo once a week. The service is great. Always friendly and quick. There is always enough on the menu for an enjoyable lunch. Price is reasonable aswell.

Did a random search for somewhere to eat this morning and found this Gem of a place in Stockton Heath. Absolutely brilliant food and service. Definitely will visit again.

Living locally, we were attracted to Zalos because it had an inviting covered, heated frontage that was dog friendly. Perfect to sit at in all weather's whilst out on a dog walk. Very friendly waiting staff means you don't even need to leave your seat....

I was disappointed with this restaurant, as I’m coeliac. I popped in for breakfast one morning and when I asked if they could cater for me, they quickly said yes. I ordered gluten free toast and luckily I had the good sense to check if they had a separate toaster, to be told no, they just put it in the normal toaster...I had to cancel my order. gluten free bread cooked in a toaster that is used for normal bread is not safe for coeliacs

Dropped in for lunch. Place was full & lots waiting on so it was busy. Good choice on menu. Food was good & coffee was outstanding. A nice find & will return.

I LOVE it here! Menu is amazing, so is the food! Never had to wait too long to be served or for food to arrive. Staff great too. Really reasonably priced as well for the generous portion sizes. Just wish it was a bit bigger as I often can’t get a table and have to go elsewhere, but this is understandable with how good the place is!

Great location and food and service not to be faulted. Very popular especially in the summer when you can sit outside and watch the world go by.

Food is amazing and service is really good during but I found it quite rude that when the restaurant is closing the chefs sit in the cafe obviously waiting for you to leave which I don’t think is acceptable, puts the customer under pressure. Most of the staff are absolutely lovely but when we arrived one of the waitresses was rushing us saying the kitchen was closing which made us feel obligated to decide in the 30 seconds it took her to get the drinks to decide what we wanted then as we were eating, she was stood there tapping on the side waiting for us to leave and kept rolling her eyes at us which was quite rude considering it was half 4 and it’s supposed to close at 5.

This is a regular place for me and my family because the service and the food is consistently excellent. The manager and his staff are always happy and friendly. The breakfasts are especially good but my favourite is the chicken kebab.

Zalo's menu covers everything you'd expect in a well run UK high street cafe. The difference is that if you don't want a jacket potato or a well filled sandwich then you can have a chicken kebab, a Turkish salad or a flavoursome mezze platter. Very similar in its menu to the Knutsford branch, this is bright, modern and pleasantly decorated place. The young serving staff are polite and earnest in their approach. They are very helpful and willing to engage in a conversation rather than grunt and shuffle about as so many do.I always have the large chicken kebab or the mezze. My wife varies her order and has never been disappointed by the tasty, filling food that is provided. A great lunchtime venue which wont dissapoint.

went for breakfast for 4, food is good wholesome food, usual good choice of coffees and teas. Service was very good and prompt , wasnt very busy so it could be different when full.

Every time I visit Stockton heath, I have to make time to visit here. It's a little beautiful place with amazing food, wonderful staff and is just so wonderful.

Stopped off for a coffee here this late Sunday morning. Really lovely atmosphere, waiters were always checking if anyone needed anything and service was fast. Mix of people from couples to families. Will recommend and come again.

Called in for lunch with my wife, grilled halloumi baguette with spicy sausage and hummus washed down with freshly made peach iced tea. Very very nice, also tried the Turkish breakfast on our last trip in which was equally good. Friendly quick service as well. Very good place to eat

We had a leisurely mid morning breakfast. The omelette was delicious and came with salad (& balsamic dressing) and chips. The coffee was delicious-very smooth and hot. There’s a really wide choice of breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Plenty of choice for vegetarians. All of the staff were cheerful and friendly. Would certainly return.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. The waitresses all appeared aloof- a lot of eye rolling when asked simple questions about the menu. The food was decent - a good hearty portion, reasonably priced- i would return but would appreciate a smile and pleasantries when my food is delivered- thanking you in advance biatches.

Have never been to Stockton Heath before but was invited to lunch.

First impressions - beige! Second - too crammed in. However, the staff were friendly apart from a young girl who obviously wished she was elsewhere and had very long nails to harbour germs. Too many tables, too near the road (traffic noise and fumes). Better to walk a bit farther and go to Heath's on Walton Road where the food is better.

I had a sandwich with chicken and it was fresh and juicy. The waitress was polite and she served on time, meanwhile i had a lovely view from terrace and the restaurant was full of people.

Good for lunch had a very good elemental cheese sandwich with a great flat white. Place is clean, tidy and has a really nice atmosphere. Friendly and efficient well worth a stop. The Turkish breakfast does sound nice.

Was here on my own, food and coffee was absolutely lovely. Overall service was what I expected, very friendly. Only issue I found was it was very tight in between tables and chairs. Not much room to move about, although it was very busy which is understandable.

This was our 3rd visit to the cafe my food selection was omelette cooked well, perfectly done and enjoyed.

Popped in with daughter a couple of days ago for a quick butty and a cuppa, the service was speedy but not rushed, food portions brilliant, the cafe itself is spotless. So we're back this morning for a birthday breakfast for me! Again, the portions are just brilliant, really good value for money. I love this place and it's nice to be able to support local business without compromising on quality.

It was my first visit here. The choice on the menue is varied. They do both regular and small plates. I opted for feta salad regular. It was lovely. Lots of feta, olives, tomatoes, cucumber lettuce. I had a coffee to go with this. Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere inside. I will certainly be going again. They also do a takeout menu.

Busy cafe as food is good. Freshly cooked and quality. Bacon is nice . Had one full English and one bacon on toast with scrambled egg. Hash brown was good. Two large tomatoes mushrooms , beans , bacon , sausage and toast too. Decaf Americano with hot soy milk means drink stays hot longer. Pot of tea gave about three cups . All for £16 . Pretty good value. Very nice staff and friendly atmosphere.

Nice selection of juices. Also the coffee was reasonably priced. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Would visit again.

Have been 8 times for breakfast food served was very hot. Poached eggs were perfect. The staff are attentive and service is very good . They offer decaffeinated tea and coffee. It is a very busy cafe with good atmosphere.

Visited the new zalos in Latchford. Friendly service,good portion size,well cooked and a nice coffee.

Nicely appointed with plenty of room and quite full. Quickly greeted by friendly staff and shown to a table which all looked clean. We both opted for full English breakfast at £7.95 and coffee which was extra. The breakfast consisted of lean bacon, sausage, mushrooms, hash brown and very tasty eggs plus toast which was all amazing!!

I have eaten here lots of times and have had nothing that wasn't home cooked and tasty. Only downside is it does get very busy. The must have is the Turkish breakfast and Turkish apple or peppermint tea - they are amazing!

The best brunch that I have probably eaten, everything piping hot and delicious to eat. Seats are thick cushions and comfortable. Follow the crowd it is busy and enjoy.

Have been in many times for a takeaway bacon and sausage sandwich. Always very busy but service is very good and have only had to wait 10mins for my order.

Had a delicious breakfast cooked to perfection at this lovely little cafe. It was busy for a Monday morning, coffee was really good too, I had large latte hubby had pot of tea. Staff were efficient and friendly, worth a visit if in the area.

First visit, first class overall. Food quality is good and service slick. Definitely a great asset to the village. We visited in the recent heat wave and the windows on the road were folded back. Great- until smokers on the payment wafted their smoke into the cafe. Don't know what you can do about this, where does the public/private boundary lay. Like most eating places in Stockton Heath they have taken over the pavement. Busy traffic also can spoil it but its not their fault. Will definitely return in the cold weather.

Everything is absolutely perfect, presentation, service, timing. I regularly call for breakfast and coffee and it starts my day off well. I’m very particular about presentation but also as I have a full cooked breakfast don’t like too much fat. It really couldn’t be better, thoroughly enjoyed it. Particularly like the fact that it is always consistent, very hot and always presented well.

Our first visit to Zalos today and it was delicious!! I would recommend the bacon and Brie melt, staff were assertive and looked after us very well as it was steadily busy, food came in ample time.

Visited for the 1st time on a Friday morning and was very impressed with the 1st impressions the word cafe does it no justice. Very modern restaurant with a great menu also lots of vegetarian opinion which I had the vegetarian breakfast which was delicious. All the staff are very friendly and professional. We will definitely return and recommend.

My hubby and I had a breakfast date here on 6/7/18, he had a full English amd I had sausage and mushrooms on toast, the food was nice and hot and brought out quickly. The one and only conplaint would be the one slice of toast that came with Full English was thin and dry and cold, and the butter portion was nowhere near big enough, but Im sure if I had brought this up whilst we were there it would have been rectified, we just didn't establish it as a problem until after we had paid and left!!!

We were only passing through Stockton Heath, but decided to stop to grab a bite to eat. This was definitely the best decision we made that day. It was very busy on arrival, but we were invited to take any table. Drinks order was taken quickly, and when drinks were delivered, the food order was taken. We ordered the feta salad and the halloumi salad. Both were delicious and the portions were plentiful. Overall a great meal and we will be back very soon.

Planning to have a very early breakfast today before work. Makes the day tick a little better as everything is always perfect. Normally come on a Saturday morning with my friends but now popping in whenever I can as lovely food, well presented, good quality and red hot.

My all time favourite place to go eat. I can't emphasise enough my love for Zalos. Food is incredible (especially veggie breakfast) and prices very reasonable. Service is fast and all staff very helpful. Only downside is it is quite small and around lunchtime can sometimes struggle to get a table.

We go to zalos,several times a week,we live in Warrington,but it's well worth the 15 minute drive,the coffee,wonderful,the food soo yummy,so much choice,management & staff are so friendly &efficient;,we love the place

Our third visit was just as fantastic as our first. We received a warm welcome & staff are friendly. The restaurant is clean, well maintained & offers some outside seating which is nice. The smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel is well worth the £5 odd. The cream cheese & smoked salmon is a generous portion & more than most places serve which is great. The Turkish breakfast is amazing. I highly recommend this if you are after something a little different. Unlike other cafes in the village, Zaols offers ample seating inside. If paying by card you pay at the till.

Been here a few times before my review and they have been constantly good in all respects wether it be food, drink or customer service. Staff are very friendly and always smiling. Food is hot and presented really well with great taste. Peppermint tea is really good but today i opted for a strawberry milkshake which was fantastic. I have had a consistant server each time i have been. I havent caught her name but she has blonde hair and is an absalute credit to your team. It is a lovely place to come even on a saturday afternoon

Been a couple of times and had their Flub sandwich - probably enough to feet the 5,000 but it's so tasty. Loads of choice, good price and nice staff.

We had a very pleasant breakfast here. The food was well cooked and the service was alright. Unfortunately there was nothing to shout about.

I have breakfast at zalo's most, if not, every morning and service and quality are always consistently amazing. All the staff are happy to accommodate and service is always speedy and more importantly to a good standard. No complaints in any way and will continue to be a regular customer to zalos.

We had a lovely lunch here and at a very reasonable price. It was packed and we felt like we were eating with the table next door.

Very impressed with the attention to customer service. Visited here on a very busy Sunday lunchtime for a brunch. The range of food, includes Turkish/Greek influenced, will satisfy most, as well as the specials on the board. Everything is reasonably priced.

We have been to this cafe a few times, and each time have really enjoyed the food and drinks, they are reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. There are also veggie and Vegan dishes. The cafe is rightly gaining in popularity and it is now difficult to get a table at lunchtimes. My only criticism is that the tables are so tightly packed together that it is quite difficult to get in and out of your seat.
