Zaika Takeaway & Restaurant in Brent

Not a single customer taking away so was a bit concerned by this. Nevertheless I ordered a lamb biryani which when I got home was shocked to only see 2 small pieces of dry lamb in it! It cost £5 so was very disappointed,both in the quality and portion size. It was also very dry and bland. I was a bit put off by the amount of food dropped in the kitchen are, and no apparent good hygiene practices carried out. I will not be returning here and can now understand why the take away was empty, not even delivery drivers collecting.

I have just been to Zaika and had land saag with a garlic naan and a bit of salad. I am from Sheffield and it is one of the tastiest lamb saag I have ever had. The chef asked how spicy I wanted it I went for medium and it was delicious. I recommend this if your in the area.

Sadly the takeaway was not only late but lukewarm with sauce all over the bag and an inedible paratha. We were staying at a local hotel and ordered the food at 1130pm, it eventually arrived at 1am despite being given a time of 1230. We called the restaurant to be told it was on the way then no answer to calls thereafter. Not ideal when you are hanging around reception. And no apology. To be fair the chicken curry was good but the paratha was cold and stodgy and the salad was warm.

This has recently had a change of management, we walked passed this and then came back as it looked the most appealing eatery on the road. The joint serves all the dishes you would expect from a Asian restaurant and even the complex ones such as haleem (slow cooked dish with lentils and lamb) the prices were so reasonable for London and I would say very cheap. Our two course meal for 3 cost under £15.00. Fast service and delicious food, it seemed quite popular with locals which is a good sign.if we were in the area another day we would have eaten here again.

Had a chance to recently vist Zaika ..It’s a Small place but great taste .. especially the biryani great taste and very resonable rates .. Many choices to choose from would recommend for Jndian Pakistani authentic food

I had the best saag aloo ever from here last night. Really friendly staff and the food is amazing. Really fantastic.

If you fancy bite to eat after visiting Wembley Stadium this place is a little gem. Home made authentic indian food, fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced. Busy place, service very good. Polite staff

At least twice a week my wife and I order for take away. They have delicious and fresh food! Excellent half chicken with very nice spices and their naan bread is made to order.

Such fantastic curries served here and unlike many restaurants the curries here are full of flavour with a lovely rich sauce and beautifully tender lamb. Portions are very generous and i did not need to eat another meal for 30 hours! incredibly good value considering the location just round the corner from Wembley stadium with the bill for a salad meal and drink coming to just £10.

delicious kebabs, scrumptious lamb chops and oven baked Naan Breads. For main course they do delicious Biryani and Nihari The desserts were good too- though limited choice

We went there after searching for Indian food nearby during our visit to Wembley. And wht an amazing visit. We loved vegetable biryani. I have never eaten such a biryani in my life. And the owner was so sweet to give us complimentary desserts on our second visit. Very affordable and large servings. Highly recommended and looking forward to visit them again !!

Well I hope that my title says it all This unassuming restaurant is all about quality and value The food in my photo was £6.48 Sheek Kabab, Onion Bhajia, Salad, Nan Bread, Mango Lassi, complimentary dips Service frendly How could you beat that? p.s. Booze not allowed but you have to respect religious restrictions

Enjoy the butter chicken the most from this restaurant. Easy to locate. Good food and good service. Value for money

On the High Road - fast turnover pakistani restaurant Pretty average place with reasonable service at reasonable prices. Nothing special. Nothing awful. Food on show. Plastic tables. Decent spicing on Mixed Meat Grill. Doesn't pretend to be anything else

Still asking for 50p to pay by card? What a joke.. then had the audacity to point to the cash point. Strange, no customers and acting smug.. lol

If your looking for authentic and freshly made food then this is the place to come! Staff are very nice, food is made in front of you and everything tastes absolutely delicious. The pricing is also very reasonable. Great place to bring family and friends!

Love this place food is good and well priced, the staff are amazing. Always have good food from here and a great place to take family and friends. Butter Chicken is a must and lovely naan bread. We try and go at least once a week

Take a lentils curry soup, it was spicy even without adding anything else. Good taste and cheap place to eat

A lovely high street place to eat. Wonderful flavours, generous portions at excellent prices with service delivered by a warm and sincere group of guys. This is becoming a regular stop when going to Wembley Stadium for Spurs. We have enjoyed sit in and take out. Quality is conginually good, as is the friendly reception from the staff. Oh, and the Mango Lassi us the best ever!!

We regularly order from Zaika and have found the quality and service and the delivery excellent. It’s usually the missus who leaves reviews for them but on this occasion I have insisted. They usually get 5 stars but we were disappointed on this occasion. The portions are generous as always but 2 things have happened recently 1. The food is not as tasty and authentic as it used to be. It’s laced with too much oil and far too many condiments! It causes havoc on the taste buds.....new Chef? Maybe. 2. Delivery is getting poor.It took nearly 1,5 hours for the food to arrive. After repeated calls it finally arrived. And guess what food arrived cold/Luke warm. Very disappointed. Really hope they improve, such a shame.

I had a lunch this afternoon and the place was not crowded. I had Karahi Chicken and Nan which was freshly cooked. The taste was absolutely nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed the good. Ice cold water was a nice compliment. I had the Balti Lanb and naan. Faultless

Eher zufällig nach einem Wembley-Stadion-Besuch dort hineingegangen hab ich mich für Nr 1 auf der Karte entschieden (Kebab roll) und habe für 2,50 eine ordentliche Portion und ein wahres Geschmackserlebnis auf der Hand mitgenommen. Gerne wieder

Ce petit resto ne paie pas de mine mais pourtant il offre une cuisine indienne/ pakistanaise de qualité. C'est plein de saveurs et frais. Le chicken Biryani est une tuerie. Mention spécial au Rasmalai, dessert à base de lait et de pistaches.

Estábamos en Wembley durante una semana y ordenados desde aquí dos veces. Amplia variedad de platos en su menú y la mayoría de lo probamos era delicioso. El lugar es relativamente limpio y el servicio es bueno. El pollo Tandoori Roti, con Karahi Cordero con espinacas así como su cordero Kebabs son excelentes. Que no me gustó su Biriyani mucho y me parecía ser más una Pulao que sutil o no, Biriyani luz en una, pero es probablemente sólo una variedad del plato. Hay unas pocas mesas en el interior para cenar en el lugar, y bastante concurrida por las noches. Debe probar si en la zona de Wembley, muy asequible!

Parece bueno y comestible, pero supongo que es preparado más temprano en el día y la izquierda en mostrar, de alguna manera, no hacerlo para mí. Mal sabor pero prefiere esperar a ser fresco.

I have ordered from Zaika several times and they have never disappointed. The food is amazingly traditional Pakistani and the service is great. I always look for a place with a high turnaround for freshness and Zaika is a great take away. Well done, thank you for your excellent priced menu and huge portions :)

If i could i would give it zero. Awful food, service and management. When i received the food it had all fallen out the take away box and had a hair in it. Spoke to the restaurant and they refused to refund and send another kebab. Disgusting.

Great customer service. Food is amazing, but chapli kebab is even more amazing. No lies even though i was full i was still stuffing in the kebab. Not pricey.

We have had several take always from this restaurant and each occasion has been fantastic. Their food is extremely tasty, very authentic and very well priced. their naans are always fresh and fluffy, their biriyanis delicious, and I cant emphasise how tasty my favourite dish is..nihari. Food arrives fresh, steaming hot and their delivery times are very acceptable.

So I had members of my family around last night for a take way and thought we would try this one (as our usual one has gone downhill) ....we were all pleasantly surprised!! Being brought up on such cuisine, we all know good authentic Indian/Pakistani food when we eat it and all of the dishes were superb. In particularly the Nihari speciality dish was "excellent" as described by my mother-in-law (and at the age of 80, she is very hard to please when it comes to food). So much so that she just called me to bring over some more food from Zaika. So it now looks as though this take away is to become our new 'usual' place to go to when I don't feel like cooking. Its very rare to find an authentic take away and we are so glad to have come across this one:)

We had a takeaway chicken kebab. Both of us who ordered it found ourselves questioning the 'chicken' as it was different to any chicken I have tasted before.Then we both found something very non-meat in the chicken (could've been roughly ground bones) and at that point we both stopped eating and threw away the food!!The fact that both of us noticed something 'different' was very worrying. Thankfully, a couple of days later and neither of us are suffering any ill effects ..... yet!

Great place to stop of for a curry. Food is fresh tasty and reasonably priced. Staff are helpful. Service is quick and friendly.

Dropped in here as appeared to get only decent reviews. Well deserved. A really fresh onion bhaji followed by the best lamb karahi I have had in a very long time, and lovely fresh and very big nan. Perfect for a quick stop in curry.

Quick takeaway as in the travelodge down the road. Belting lamb curry, Dahl, rice and fresh naan. Faultless! Ps the front of house chap even offered me the use of a chair at no extra charge - highly recommend it and they add a bit of extra chilli if you fancy it

We were in Wembley for the play off finals and I was tipped off about this place by some Man U supporters I work with, so after a few celebratory drinks we thought we would give it a go and we were glad we tried it. The food looks great from the outside and although it is more of a takeaway don't let that stop you from going in for a sit down meal. The food is authentic good and plentiful and I would definitely go again if I am back in Wembley.If in doubt give it a go.

Zaika is close to where we stay. Used to look at the restaurant every time I crossed through this place, But we first went for dinner in January and since then, whenever we go to Wembley Arena, Shopping Outlet, Central, Zaika is the place where we prefer to have our last meal of the day. We now regret, why we didn't go their earlier.Place is very relaxed and easy on your pocket. Service is prompt. Opened till late. As this is take out, there is limited seating option. As I recall, Zaika can seat 24 people. From the outside you could see the food at the counter and the BIryani will certainly make you feel hungry. I love the Biryani and the spices they use. Its not chilly but you could taste flavors.... just amazing !!!If you are around Wembley Central area, I would highly recommend you to have a meal here...

Relax, inexpensive, delicious food. The best Asian food we had in London. We saw this restaurant while walking towards the Wembley Arena from Wembley Central Station. The look of the food through the window was really yummy, so we decided to try. The service was great, the food amazing (even though it is a take away / restaurant, the food tastes like home made), great prices. Pity that we don't live around, otherwise we would go there more often. Go and enjoy if you are in the region!

We went to this restaurant after a concert at Wembley Arena (System Of A Down), and after some search because almost none of the restaurants around the Arena served food after 23:00. The food (Pakistani cuisine) surprisingly was very good. Some spicy, same normal but everything was very tasty. The place was clean and neat. Nice touch was the plates and cutlery. If you are near there we recommend it.Tip : they don’t serve alcohol
