Excellent indian restaurant, food taste absolutely delicious, enjoyed a great meal with friends. We will order again and recommend others

Ate here with three others and we all completely agreed in that it was the best curry we've ever eaten. The restaurant was quiet for a Saturday night, but all food was incredibly tasty! You must eat here!

Always really good! Chicken jalsamar is amazing but nothing beats the tarka dhal! This is our favourite local! Love it!

Takeaway was 30 minutes late (after quoting an hour delivery time). Due to this, the food was not hot - thus contributing to the low rating. Please could someone contact me for a refund?

Not quite up to the usual standard tonight...garlic chicken was a bit greasy :( overall still good but would hope the high standard is back to normal next time we order!

Surprised reviews are so good, maybe it's the prices or we just didn't get them on a good night. My garlic chicken sauce was made up by more than half ghee.

Very disappointing, and surprisingly so given the good reviews. The mushroom rice has tomatoes in and tasted like a packet of microwave Uncle Bens. The meat was good quality, but curry tasteless.

Until recently had a good experience ordering from these guys, however all changed with my last order. Order turned up 5 minutes earlier than expected (no drama and definitely a bonus) but was missing the main part of my food, rung up the restaurant to get this sorted and was told the food may have been sent on the wrong delivery, chap on phone was very apologetic and told me my food would be with me ASAP, 1 hour later and still no sign of it. Go to ring the restaurant and they are now closed, seems to me they never had any intention of sending the food out. Shame that this has happened as have been a regular over the last couple of months but will not be going back here again.

Best Indian Takeaway around. Food always hot, always amazing flavours and always well portioned.

I am a very regular customer and Gurkhas is normally the best Indian takeaway in London. Unfortunately every once in a while, the food just isn't quite up to standard which was the case tonight. Even on a bad day still it's still better than everywhere else but i order from them because it's the best and when it's not I feel really let down, especially as I spend so much money with them!!!!

Fantastic! The food was lovely.

Used to be my absolute favourite takeaway (no exaggeration!). But food quality really dropped over the last year... Curries are now incredibly oily and has upset my stomach more than once. On par with other places just no longer exceptional quality :(

Delivery isn't the best when it comes to time! But besides that it's worth the wait!!

Food was ordered at 6.30 with confirmation for 7.15. This got changed to 7.30 on the website (this was acceptable)... However at 7.45 i still hadnt received my food or heard from the restaurant. I had to call and the food arrived at 8pm, cold and not tasty.

Usually good but received burnt naans late.

The food was excellent sadly they took longer than quoted but the quality was worth the wait. I think the quoted time was ambitious for a Thursday night

Love the bindi sabji (okra/ ladies fingers). Technically, a side dish, but I've subsequently ordered it as as a main as it is big enough .

A little more spicy than past occasions but you can never predict hest from green chillies.Vegetable curry was extremely spicy. My guest found it too much to eat completely. Delivery was well within specified time and driver was extremely polite. Will still order from here again and still MY favourite Indian takeaway.

Great tasting food, arrived hot and packaged well. The biryani sauce was divine. A little disappointed with the lamb saag, the lamb was chewy and the saag could have been chopped. The chapati was dry and felt like eating paper. There were only two lamb chops in the portion.

Maravilloso hallazgo. La comida es excelente... incluso pedimos llevar desde nuestra visita, y era igualmente de buena calidad. Pollo Momo es delicioso. Rogan Josh estaba fuera de este mundo, pero en mi opinión es mucho más caliente que la media de Rogan, así que ten cuidado. El personal era amable y atento y encantador y limpio y en proyecto entorno Cobra! No te puedes equivocar.

I reckon this is the Best INDIAN TAKE AWAY IN UK. Its so tasty there so polite. There prawns are absolutely devine. There my no1 takeaway any day of the week. Thank you so much guy's your truly great x ☆☆☆☆☆ 10/10

I was disappointed with the delivery time, but when I made a compliant, the stuff was very patient and helpful. Food was very delicious.

Food was excellent but delivery times were poor. Quoted it would be delivered at 8:10pm and we got it at 8:40pm, 1 hour 10 mins after ordering but doesn't take away from quality of food, hope delivery times were a mix up and once off

Asked for vegetable rice with no egg or no dairy, it was full of egg. The daal is tasteless, the vegetable curry was tasteless, the chicken tikka was too spicy, the vegetable samosas lack flavour.

Food portions were small for the price. The chapattis are REALLY expensive, £1.75 for a tiny one. Overall, expensive and not tasty enough for be portion sizes.
