My first time ordering from here got a takeaway today, great service on time, and the food was amazing i really enjoyed it I’ll be ordering again too 😊

Its an indian curry house. Brilliantly cooked apna style Handy Lamb, I enjoyed very much. Highly recommended and will come back to this place again.

Iv ordered a good few times from here and the food never disappoints. The staff are lovely, venue looks clean and the food is tasty and hot.

Delicious Cury and best service.

A bog-standard curry. Typical curry made for the typical (English) man. By no means bad by no means good. We ordered a bhuna and a Karahi and the sauces were exactly the same, although not too bad! Dal was very watery and lacked depth. Naan was excellent. They took a long time to deliver but gave us a free bhaji (although we did ask, they didn’t offer) so can’t complain.

Ordered via deliveroo. Order delivered within the time frame stated. Delivery guy friendly. Unfortunately that is all the good points. Garlic naan had absolutely no flavour to it. Chicken tikka chat. Misadvertised on deliveroo as chicken tikka pieces. Didn’t enjoy this. Chips awful and undercooked. This is the second time I’ve tried this recently. Unfortunately won’t be a third time.

Avoid! Ordered before and was slow but thought would give benefit of doubt as the food was decent. Ordered again at 6.30pm Sat night for about 50 mins delivery time. Nothing arrived by 8pm. Called and difficult to get through but when I did I spoke to Kal who promised 8.30pm (still 2 hours from order!). 8.30pm comes and goes and it gets to 9pm (by which time I’ve eaten something else) and the food arrives. 2hrs 30mins later! I refuse delivery and still awaiting a refund! Just really poor, they have no clue what they are doing. They just say we’re busy and sorry about that. Don’t take orders then you can’t complete! Avoid!

The Best Indian food I’ve eaten for ages , fast delivery service, highly recommend.

So, so, so, bad AVOID. I told driver student accomdation and the name he rang me to say he was outside, I went down and he was not there after multiple forwards and backward phone calls telling him he is at the wrong accommodation, sending him my location 3 times, him refusing to put my address into google, after 27min of stood outside in the cold, I had to walk up to find him! Stone cold food, The paneer tasted stale, I ordered garlic and cheese nann and plain arrived. Mango chutney was the worst I have tasted, so not worth the money.

Waste of money, cold bland food

As one of the others above I had a dreadful experience ordering from here via deliveroo. Saw restaurant say food was on its way. It turned up 40 minutes late. Dished it up and it was stone sold. Rang up and was told that all food was served at food safety standards and how everything was put in a hot box and I was lying. He then offered me a 3 quid discount next order. Jokes on him....id never get it from here again. Waste of 60 quid for a curry, mixed grill, chops and 2 nanns. AVOID.

Ordered through Deliveroo 2 hours ago and it’s still not arrived. It’s my son’s birthday meal & we have guests and everyone so disappointed. Just phoned for the 3rd time to be told it’s still 2 deliveries away. £65 for a takeaway over 2 hours & still no sign! Didn’t even have the courtesy to phone me to say would be such a delay. Don’t care if your food is good, your customer service and business ethic is the pits! Never ever again. I live 10 mins away from Monton so traffic is so excuse , and if it is then atleast let people know so they have the option to collect or cancel!

Decided to get this as it had won a recent award. It didn't stand out for me. It wasn't bad, just a standard Indian takeaway. Food was nice enough, the onion bhajis were bad but the naan bread was delicious.

Once again lovely meal. Chicken tikka garlic balti and Thai sweet chilli chicken absolutely spot on. Wonderful zafrani team, you guys deserve the best takeaway in the North as always

Worst curry ever,, we all had different curries, etc , madras, Marsala , korma… and they were all same colour, wtf,, and they all tasted same… very sweet. No spice.. infact I want a refund , £ 72.00 we paid, what a rip off .. 10 Trevor Road, swinton .. NOT THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE, but mum , who visted… omg! Disgusting!

Tasty food without the oil on top like most takeouts

I had a truly dreadful experience with this takeaway. I placed a £70 order, and not only did the delivery arrive late, but the food was also cold upon arrival. When I called the takeaway to express my concerns, I was met with an elderly gentleman with limited English proficiency. Instead of addressing the issue and offering an apology, he proceeded to verbally abuse me, accusing me of lying and other unprofessional behavior. This level of customer service was unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against ordering from this establishment in the future.

Don't be deceived by the appearance of this standard looking Indian takeaway! One of the nicest curries I have had for as long as I can remember (both times...). Get the "Handi Lamb", which has super tender Lamb on the bone and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Requested freshly cooked Tandoori Chicken , it was pre cooked ( dry ). Asked for a spicy sauce to go with it was charged an extra £3.50 for a sauce included in the price !!

We've got a takeaway from Zafrani most months for over three years and we've never once been disappointed! Unbelievable curries, great naans and onion bajis thrown in for free. We would never go anywhere else for our takeaway as nothing can ever live up to it.

We tried the Zafrani for the 1st time, I had Chicken Tikka Jalfresi, I can honestly say it’s the nicest I’ve ever had, I had Pilau rice Poppadums and chutney, all delicious. You can see your meals being prepared, it all looks very clean and hygienic, service was very good and food is good value

First time visit to Zafrani. Ordered online to collect. Service was very quiet. The staff where very helpful and polite. I had the Chicken Tikka Shashlik Balti, one of the best Bali’s I have had, good quality food. Invited a friend to try food from here this week.

After becoming more and more disappointed with The Naz we decided to order from Zafrani. We rang our order for delivery and was told it would be 50 minutes to an hour. An hour and 15 minutes later it arrived with no apology, although two onion bhaji’s were put in as an added extra. The poppadom’s and pickles were lovely and fresh, the bhaji’s were nice but cold and needed reheating. Both main course portions were large, but the whole meal lacked flavour and needed more seasoning to give it a kick.

Probably the only Indian takeaway in the UK that has a traceable 'Food Awards' certificate. Even the backstreet shitholes claim to have award winning chefs but this place is totally legit!

UNRELIABLE, RUDE STAFF, AVOID. Ordered this evening on Zafrani website. No confirmation email. Called up several times to check if the order had been received and no answer. Eventually got through and was told they were busy and order would be 25-30 minutes later than the estimated 60 minutes. Waited 30 mins and called back to ask where our order was and we were told the driver was en route and it would be with us in 5-8 minutes. 15 minutes later still no sign of order. We called back again and were told 15 minutes. When we said we were told it was on the way 15 minutes ago we were then told they had issues with cars breaking down and getting another delivery driver in etc. We asked to cancel the order and they pleaded with us not to. We then asked for a discount considering the 2+ hour wait and being lied to and they eventually offered £5 off a £50 order. When told this was insulting they offered £10. We asked to cancel unless they could offer an acceptable discount and were rudely told "we're not a charity". Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Don't take orders you can't fulfill and sort your customer service skills out! Will not order again and will warn others to avoid.

Good place, chatty chef. Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was a little dull but thats to be expected in eccles I guess.

I bought a tikka masala and it tasted nothing like what it should it tasted weird and both me and my mum who body ate it has had diarhea and it was really horrible

you have got to be joking!! went in tonight for a shish kebab sandwich, thats 2 shish kebabs on a nan bread - £17.80 they asked for!! ended up going to shabna down the road who charged me £6. iv lived in swinton for 50 years, this is the first time i have though necessary that i should post a review on a restaurant that is clearly bad for the area. These guys are disgusting, even when questioned they still tried to pursue the ridiculous price. It gets worse, i only went here because i had to be on my way, the last time i ordered from here my curry was delivered to me after a 'bing' from the microwave round the corner. To the right of the service area you will find stacks of common curries in Tupperware boxes ready to be reheated and served to you. gave you a second chance but absolutely no more... hope at least one person will be discouraged from these idiots, try shabna up the road - hopefully they have no affiliation.

Great food, it's the best curry around. Portions are good size and ordering is easy online.

Poppadums - lovely, crisp and fresh. Great selection of chutneys Seekh Kebab - absolutely spot on Onion Bahji - again, spot on Naan - massive and really good Pilau Rice - not the most fragrant pilau rice I've ever had, but it was nice enough. We both had different sauces for our main meals and both sauces lacked depth. I got the kick of flavour straight away but then it just disappeared. Such a shame. The quality of chicken was fine. But I'm not one to give low star ratings for the sake of it, support local business and all that! Cheers guys.

I’m a truck driver and was parked in the area for the night. I placed an order for a set menu for 1 and oh my god, it was amazing. It came within 30 minutes and was nice and hot, and there was loads of it. I do a lot of work in the area and will definitely be using Zafrani again in the future. I can highly recommend. The staff were very helpful and very pleasant

Used to order from here a few years ao when we lived near Ordsall. Think the Manager hiself used to deliver the food - it was always delivered on time, hot and with a smile and a quick few words from the Manager. We were alwasy surprised to find a lovely free portion of Bhajis which were HUGE! Honestly seen tennis balls smaller than these so be prepared for ggenrous portion if you order some! Definitely recommended and now we live even closer to it it is gettin ordered again tonight! :-)

Ordered food from here via deliveroo. Food was supposed to be delivered in 30-45 minutes, after 2 hours I called them and was told it'd be with me any moment now. Food never arrived, £30 has been wasted. Do not recommend, avoid if you don't want to waste your money

Another curry today...different from my normal order and all I can say is WOW flavour city. Highly recommended chilli Balti (chicken tikka) so much flavour. Definitely my new favourite Indian (Bangladeshi) takeaway. I am fussy when it comes to curries but they know how to make the best curry which tantalises the taste buds. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Beautiful food, fantastic portions. What more can I say other than you have to try it and I can highly recommend their Chicken Tikka Chilli Balti. It has plenty of flavour and very filling.

Ordered meal for family tonight mixed starters onion bhajis madras chicken and loads off sides, selected the delivery arrived in 30 minutes after ordering very impressed food was outstanding and considering its England on tonight and how late it was ordered can not fault, I will be using this again for all my curry orders.

This was just pathetic. Don't bother, even if you're starving, I can guarantee everywhere else nearby will be much nicer. I didn't even get what I ordered and the food was nothing that could be described as an Indian curry, they couldn't even get the rice right. Overpriced and tasteless .

We received a take away last week that was cold,reheated and dry Tandoori dishes, Tasteless dishes and greasy Bajhas. Simply Awful.

Ordered food online didn’t arrive rung several times lied to by the manager saying it was on its way after three hours cancelled food still awaiting refund first time I have used them back to a proper Indian Shabna far better service

Hemos usado Zafrani por un tiempo, pero recientemente se ha ido realmente cuesta abajo. La comida que recibimos anoche era de mala calidad, el curry estaba aguado y el pan naan era duro. Los bhajis de cebolla no tenían sabor y la pakora estaba empapada. Debería haberlo enviado de vuelta. Horrible.

Got a takeaway, Not good at all...was stone cold when arrived and not a nice curry wouldnt go back again !!! When I phoned and told them later on he said he would give us discount next time.. Would not give it another go though

Hemos usado este producto durante varios años y hemos estado muy satisfechos con la calidad de la comida y el servicio. Teníamos chili cordero al sur de India, Balti exotica y el cordero Rogan Josh. con el arroz pilau. Muy caliente y delicioso.

Always get a curry from here when staying in the area. Staff friendly and helpful. Great menu. This takeaway won food awards last year and previous ones. Online order service from their own website. They deliver too. Good always cooked lovely and tastes nice. Pay by card or cash.

Good taste food for reasonable price

Shame as food was nice but waiting over 2 hours on delivery and they wouldn't answer the phone for nearly half an hour.
