I have been going to Zafran in Cimla for around 2 years, me and my partner first tried it when we moved to Cimla and we ordered the loaded chips which are phenomenal, the next time we then asked if they could put a naan bread under the chips and they created the ‘’mega loaded’ which is something we love, if you haven’t tried it then TRY IT NOW. Absolutely amazing food, have never been disappointed, always amazing quality. We have now moved to Port Talbot and still make the trip there just because you can’t get an Indian as good as Zafran. Staff are so lovely and you definitely will not be disappointed with what you receive. 5*****

First time to order from here. Omg the Kashu chicken and coconut rice was out of this World. I think it was the tastiest Indian dish I have ever eaten. Thank you. I can definitely recommend and I will be returning for more

After previously ordering from here before ordered for delivery and were told that prices were different and more expensive, when order came was missing items and then when rang back was told I hadn't ordered them, but had been charged for it very unhappy won't be ordering from here again seems to be recurring theme.

I ordered early to be first and we are regular customers because the food is always really nice , but today they took my mobile number and when the delivery went over by 30 minutes they tried telling me that I didn't say delivery so I reminded them I gave them my address and number, their reply to that was it's in the oven , lying and then asked if I wanted to cancel??? Obviously to me then that the person didn't write the order down, the dishonesty angers me the most 😡

30 minutes late ,and lied when I complained about it , saying I hadn't said delivery, yet they had my mobile and didn't phone me???? Lying fks !!

Had delivery. 1 piece of meat in curry. Called to complain and they denied. Used for years so would never normally complain. Terrible customer service. Don’t bother using

Quick delivery.polite delivery man. Ordered two different meals and they both lacked flavour. We both had a keenan and we were both disappointed!☹️.We tried to give it a one star BUT tried clicking on the 1 star online but wouldn't let us do it!! Online it went straight to a 3 star . ....!! Definitely won't be ordering another meal again!

The food at Zafran is relatively good. However, the staff are not courteous and on almost every occasion when a delivery is ordered try to overcharge! I can’t understand the reason for this as the order’s placed are generally not inexpensive. Also, very often, there’s something missing from the delivery order. Maybe they just perceive woman as being stupid?

had an amazing curry tonight for the 1st time and certainly wont be the last .the food was boiling hot ,delicious, good value ,and the staff were very friendly good size portions .very tasty food and cooked to perfection .would highly recommend. wont buy a curry from elsewhere ever again .thankyou so much

The food is absolutely hanging!! Tastes like a cleaning products the curry was literally covered in thick dirty oil all two curry’s the pamidoms were all soggy and forgot the onions for the chutney tray. The chicken tikka was vile.

Really disappointed, both mine and my husband's meal tasted the same despite 2 completely different dishes ordered, rice and poppadoms missing, keema nan had hardly any filling , we will not be going back .

Had a takeaway from here last night. Never been here before. Had a leaflet through the door a few months ago and a few friends also recommended it. It was lovely, the tastiest and well presented korma I have had! The nan was cooked lovely and not over cooked! My husband had the chicken tikka masala and said it had a bit more kick than others he’s had before but not the end of the world! It was all ready when we collected and lovely and hot even after 10mins travelling home. We will be back!!

Unfortunately would like to give a better rating but I cant, Food always tastes nice but out of all times we have ordered throughout the year it has been delivered ice cold every time, shame But if you go in and order and wait you always have a hot meal, 🤔

Lush hot food,very quick but yet not rushed stunning

Had a menu through the door last week and the choice looked fantastic. So many different Indian cuisines, spoilt for choice. Decided to order this evening via phone, was told no card payments over the phone, cash only (VAT Avoidence Alert). Ordered nearly £50 worth of food for the 4 of us in the family and was told it would take up until an hour to be delivered. After nearly 2 hours of waiting, rang to see where the food was. Person answering the phone said he would check but then I could hear him on another line taking another order. He then said my food was on the way SO ANNOYING to be lied to. Eventually food turned up and was missing the rice we ordered. When I rang back, he claimed I hadn't ordered it and wasn't charged. No receipt given, so can't prove that. Then to top it off both my sons said the food was inedible. My youngest loves TIkka Masala but couldn't eat it. I tasted it and it was like a bag of sugar had been poured in the sauce. Disgusting. My other son son had a Makani and again the sauce was incredibly sweet and the chicken pieces dry. Once bitten, twice shy, will never order from here again.

We always have our kebabs from here and drive from skewen. Never had a bad meal and can highly recommend.

Well after a bad Oder last I we thought we would try again. What can I say but thank you to all the staff absolutely brilliant meal definitely one of the fest Indian meals we’ve had.

Ordered our meal at 6.35 pm and it ended up being delivered at 9.20pm. I had tried this take away for the 2nd time but when your promised 1 hour 20 mins and it takes over 2 1/2 hours to be delivered we were not happy and to make things worst the food wasn't hot. Sorry but will go back to my previous Indian after twice ordered and twice completely taken the mick over delivery.

Been coming to this takeaway since they’ve been opened and have never been disappointed once. Their consistency is impeccable and really admirable. I have been coming here for couple of months, and I have never had a bad meal here, service amazing.

Food is good, but the customer service is terrible. When my food arrived they had missed off one of the dishes so I phoned to let them know and they said that I hadn't ordered the missing dish, even though we had a conversation about, it as I question the ingredients. Not only did the missing dish take a further hour to arrive they tried to charge me for it but with a delivery fee on top. I had to phone for a 3rd time with the delivery guy waiting and spoke to the manager, who's attitude wasn't great and ended up putting the phone down on me.

We always use Zafran when we order a takeaway and have always been happy with the food but it's not until there is something wrong and you have to contact them that you will find out what their customer service is actually like. Our food was delivered tonight and there was a dish missing so we rang them straight back to let them know. We were basically told that we hadn't ordered that dish and was made to feel like a liar but they said that they would still send it out to us but it would be another hour!!! We agreed to that. Our other dish eventually arrived and they had told the lovely delivery driver to charge us for the dish plus extra for the delivery!!! Astonishing. We rang the takeaway back as it wasn't fair to put this on their delivery driver ~ the manager came on the phone and his attitude was terrible, basically told us that we hadn't ordered the dish in the first place and then put the phone down on us. We will NOT be ordering from there again, they've lost a very regular customer.

I live 5 mins in the car away food was cold delivery was late even the pompadoms were soggy huge disappointment!! My advice is avoid.

Been having our takeaways from zafran for a few years and there food is always to a high standard ..

Orderd a meal for my family at 7 oclock phoned 3 times between 8 and 9 to ask where food was apparently it was on its way .... and left 10past 8 ... it eventually arrived at 8.55 ... 1 hr 50 mins after ordering ... the most annoying thing is i live round the corner from Zafran and i should have beeb first to be deliverd ... my order was £30... the driver was really nice and gave me £5 back because i wasnt happy ... it annoyed me because not offten i get both my boys home for the evening and this ruined it .. the food arrived chips needed warming up and i wasnt really hungery by this point ... i dont think i b ordering from there again ... especially delivery ..

Have been a few time for food and found it excellent.

Had a bad experience last week the chips were rewarmed and tasted disgusting ...and the chicken tikka meat was cold even the nan wasn't as good. .. truthfully not as top quality as we have had in the past. Very disappointed as it was our normal Friday evening treat

Ordered meal at 7.10 tonight. Still waiting 8.20 rang back and was told just leaving for delivery. Rang back at 9 was told left 1/2 hour ago. Asked if cold can we send it back they said it wouldn't be cool because in hot box. Arrived 9.50. delivery driver said dont complain to him ring shop. Rang shop to complained. When spoke to manager he said fryer went down just after I ordered. I asked why they didn't they ring me back to explain what was happening, he said didn't have my number so when I rang 8.2 0 and 9 why didn't they inform me then. Manager offered to do order again next time free of change. Poor service tonight Will not order again

The food at saffrons is absolutely gorgeous haven't had a bad meal from there

Ordered from here at 17:20 - rang them again at 18:50 as food hadn’t been delivered. Was advised the food left 15 minutes ago and was subsequently delivered at 19:15 meaning the food had been in the car for 40 minutes. When it arrived it was cold and the order wasn’t correct. This is not the first time it’s happened & will now be the last time we order from here.

I moved to the area last year and I order food from here regularly. At first i tried it because it was convenient, however it’s the nicest Indian I’ve had. We always place big orders and the staff handle these with great excellence, on time and all warm. I will continue to be a costumer here.

Was told our takeaway would have been delivered in 1hr 10mins but arrived nearly 2hrs after ordering. Food arrived with soggy mashed pompadoms and room temperate curries with no hint of an apology for the lateness. My wife’s Tikka Masala tasted of puréed tomatoes mixed with BBQ sauce. I have ordered from this Indian on numerous occasions but this will be the last.

Ordered a takeaway, told to collect in 30 minutes and it was ready on time as promised. Ordered chicken tikka biryani, chicken korma and pilau rice, keema naan and chips. The gentleman taking orders and at the counter was polite and very friendly and the place was spotless and welcoming. The portions are large and the food was all absolutely stunning and reasonably priced. Will definitely be ordering from here again, this is our new favourite Indian takeaway!

Great food always prepared fresh & can not fault the service

Phined for a meal to b delivered and they daid withing hr and 20 mins but was suprised when was delivered within a hr .... my son was landed and bf who was visiting from caerphilly ... who.had had take away from there a few times and had even ordered food before he went back for his dad to take back because he was so impressed .... of which his dad said it was the best indian he had tasted .... unfortunatly my bf who is allergic to.onions spacifically said no oinions .... food came earlier than expected and when opened ..... the top of the container said no onions but the first thing my bf see's is a oinon ... i was straight on phone ... and tbh they were teally good apologising and even delivered his food within 10 mins and it was our normal lovely manager who was lovely showed him the food and he couldnt apologise enough... i have neva had a problem sonce them.opening late last year and this was a one off... my bf enjoyed his food enough that me and my son was laughing because if the faces he was pulling during eating the peppers .... thank u for the speady replacement of the food and ofcourse the apology that u sincere on the managers delivery of the replacement food .... very lovely xxxxx
