Large selection of authentic dishes, I was recommended the tikka kebab and chandni special chips and they did not disappoint, freshly prepared and delicious. Fantastic friendly and quick service. Excellent value for money with good portions. Best takeaway in the area, I'd recommend to anyone.

Good food. Ordered online for a 7:50 collection, this was changed to 8:50 by the takeaway. Turned up on time but had to wait 15 mins as my order was not ready. On top of it all, the order was incorrect, not the best experience.

The kebabs and Chandni special chips really seem to have stood out. It's always a great feeling when you discover a dish that's so unique and delicious. If you’re ever looking to recommend more dishes or places, I’d love to hear about them!

Food arrived piping hot on time. The onion chutney is one of the best I have ever had and the poppadum's were so fresh, the crunch was the BEST.

Good food every time but delivery time has been getting longer and longer over past two years, stated your for delivery, needing to phone 1hr45 to get food delivered withing 2.5hr. Yes there is an arguement for picking the food up but with delivery companies such as Uber eats and deliveroo taking significantly shorter there is not reason for this in 2024

Would give zero stars if possible Delivery time is shocking, stated reasoning was sick driver and would be within 15 minutes after rocking after being 40 minutes past delivery time. Didn't arrive within 15 minutes, to then receive cold food.

Ordered delivery from here twice...different each time. Lovely food, chicken is so good.

Asked for a special request which was to have the king prawn tandoored for the biriani and they did it for me no problem. And it was absolutely superb.

i would give a 0 star if i could! had this tonight and honestly one of the worst indians i’ve ever had everything about it tasted disgusting went straight in the bin £34 worth of food even the mint sauce just tasted like yogurt no mint at all! and the garlic rice is terrible tasting yuckkkk would never ordered again

Had a curry from here tonight and it was poor at best. Chicken pakora was just all batter, two of the 4 were all batter and no chicken. Chicken pasanda was dry and tasteless. Will not be returning

Very disappointed tonight used to love this place. Curry was bland full of tomatoes not much meat. Onion bhajis tasteless overcooked. Chicken pakoras huge balls of batter with tiny bit of chicken inside. Lovely keema rice and naan. Such a shame wont be ordering from there again

Absolutely banging dishes today! Hosted a dinner party and not an ounce left over, that's when you know it was worth every penny! Order was delivered within the time specified and spot on. Fantastic service 👏 👌 👍

Received our food, and I've got to say it was awful. Overcooked rice and a tasteless curry, asked for a different curry but oh no, that's not allowed, asked for refund and that's not allowed. The customer is definitely not right in their eyes. Their customer service is disgusting as is their food. 10/10 would not recommend this "restaurant"

Eeee...I love me pies, but decided to try chandni for a change..I ask if they had owt moist..and they offered me summat else,by eck..I was proper impressed..they knocked up a lovely vindaloo for me and a madras for our lass..ooooh,champion!!!

Ordered a chicken methi which was Ok. Pilau rice was mediocre but when I asked for a portion of chips I was charged 2.50 for stale warmed up chips that were like leather. Why scrimp on chips. Also when I checked the menu when I got home the chips should have been £1.50. What a rip off, never again.

Love the food here, their biryanis are second to none, easily the best indian takeaway in Neath. Helpful staff, they will even tailor it to what you want, no problem. They are super quick to rectify any mistake. Good prices too :)

Good tasting curry except when the curry is watery and leaves a nice puddle on the plate. Tandoori chicken on the bone under cooked yet again. Delivery good most of the time but theyre sometime really much ater than told. Phone to complain but the attitude was Appalling for a regular customer. Said I should of kept the chicken to show them. Typical. Not happy.

We have had many a meal from here and has always been good . Tonight’s. was disgusting . Couldn’t eat any of it and was smelling. My kitchen smelt absolutely awful . Never again .

The best takeaway we have had for ages. It was our daughters birthday and she wanted an Indian meal. Our regular takeaway was closed so we tried Chandni for the first time. We had pomadoms and a chutney tray. Chicken tikka starter. Chicken tikka masala, lamb buhnam mushroom rice, chips and nan bread. Everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely on our list for the future, we will be goingback here regularly

Had delivery weekend which was really nice. Hadn’t tried this takeaway before. And we were really impressed. Delivery was on time, food was hot. And we both enjoyed our dishes too. Will definitely order from here again

We had a really nice meal. Good selection of food to choose from. Long wait but they were very busy and did tell us before we ordered.

Ordered from here on a regular basis and food was superb and delivery on time but the last 3 times they have left me down with delivery times. Have to phone up 2 hours after original phone call to find out where my food is and nothing but silly excuses. Don't blame the delivery people it's the way the place is run that let's it down. Food is great but eating 3 hours after phoning and promising withings 1 hour is ridiculous.

We had food from here last night and I was left very dissatisfied. The curry we had although states has onions in was absolutely covered in them to the point where it just looked too much as if to fill it up. The chicken was very tough and lacked flavour. In fact the whole dish was quite bland for an Indian meal. Won't be visiting again.

Best indian food in South wales, we live 45 miles from this takeaway and have tryed lots of others in cardiff and the valleys but none beet the food at chandni

Been to some very good Indian restaurants, and struggled to tell the difference between this take away. Very good food! Really enjoyed and good price! Would recommend.

We ordered last night, the chicken was undercooked we did call them to say we wouldn’t be ordering again and all they said was if we did want to order again they would take a small amount off, charming because we spent £17, and low and behold my partner and I have been glued to the toilet all day today. My husband got a take away here on tuesday night as our usual take away was closed. We had had a long day trying to get home from shrewsbury on the train as there was deep snow and a lot of trains were cancelled. We thought a meal would make us feel better. However the meal was tasteless and most ended up in the bin. A complete waste of 15 pounds. A really bad day all around for us.

Booked a large table for 10 , great looking Indian restaurant , the selection of meals were great , food was piping hot , service was very good , staff were good and didn't hover around the tables , great evening was had , prices were as we expected and acceptable , well worth a visit.

Chandni has been my favourite takeaway in Neath for many years, they have never allowed their standards to drop. My regular meal is Chicken Tikka Chilli curry with extra garlic My wife loves the Pashwari Nan

We just had a delivery order from the Chandri in Alfred Street in Neath. To be fare the meal was very nice however it was stone cold and the portions were small. It took over an hour and a half to arrive, hence being stone cold. Each curry container was about half full and just half a bag of chips. It's a shame because once we had microwaved the meal it was very nice. With the competition in the area, we won't be rushing back.

The menu is varied and has some specialities,we ordered chicken Parthia ,chicken tikka,and lamb tikka starter ,the right amount of spices added to the meals and good produce used throughout ,the staff are helpful give advice on dishes we haven't tried and may like ...always polite and service is reliable and on time

This has been our favourite indian takeaway for many years,the staff are very freindly and most helpful,off the menu i can highly recommend these dishes,(1)chicken tikka bhoona,(2)chicken delight,(3)chicken kurma,(4)chicken kashmir,lemon rice, many locals know how good their food is but if you are in the area call in give it a try,you will definitely not be disappointed.

Best Madras I have ever tasted & Onion Bhaji`s. Whatever I have from the menu has never disappointed.

My wife and I have a takeaway from the Chandni weekly, we either pickup and get it delivered, they offer a free delivery in a 3 miles radius of Neath, The manager is so friendly and helpful and we have a good rapport with him, The chefs are always busy and the preparation and kitchen area look very clean. We have tried quite a lot of dishes and all very good and tasty, the nan 🍞 is excellent, if you are passing call in and get a takeaway, i can recommend this restaurant, great food.

We absolutely love this Indian takeaway. The food is always exceptionally tasty. I love that you can watch the food being cooked in front of you, if you call in to the shop. It's very clean and the staff are always friendly, happy to help and meet your needs, they also cater for dietary requirements. The delivery time can sometimes be a little longer than other takeaways but this is due to everything being freshly cooked and it's busy as many retuning customers- we don't mind the little longer wait - the food is awesome.

this isn't even worthy of one star. we asked for a delivery and the expected time was an hour to an hour and a half. two hours later it arrived so by this time you expect it to be of a decent quality.. no, the food was cold, the curry sauce watery and it all lacked in taste. if you want a nice takeaway experience i suggest you try somewhere else and keep away from here . i will never order from chandni again.

Do not eat here. Bland food and the curry sauce was watery and the chips were cold and had black chunks in them. We had a delivery and had got told that it would take 1 hour to 1 and a half hours to arrive. Over 2 hours later our food turned up and the food was definetly not worth the wait and was expensive for what we had. Will not be getting food from there again.

Chandni in neath is a disgrace every time I order a delivery I get told an hour and my food turns up 2and a half hours later , every time I ring to find out where my food is I get told 5 mins and yet another half hour goes by . Why is it that they can not be honest and say we are busy tonight it will be 2 hours I do not know . The food was mediocre and definitely not worth a 2 hour wait I will never order from that place again and if you like your food on time then I suggest you do the same !!!

Promised much - nice guys and you can watch it being made.. but they forgot our bhindi bhaji, food was cold after a very short drive, and my medium hot shaslik bhuna had literally no discernable spices in it. Ingredients seemed good quality though. Haven't tried others in the area so don't know how it compares.
