Worst takeaway I've ever had, chicken was inedible and everything else was just bland microwaved garbage

I can never fault this place I have eaten from so many Caribbean food shops over the years & none of them have ever been up to the same standard as Zack’s. I have been ordering from here for years now & it doesn’t matter what I order off the menu it’s always 10/10 & worth every penny. I won’t order from any other Caribbean food shop so if u read this review thinking about whether to order deffo give this place a try u won’t regret it.

I thought it came with rice.. as the came up to £20 I give the food back.. will I be able to still get my refund.. Staff where polite.. And I’m sorry for the hassle.. I will know for next time because the food did look good

Curry goat and jerk chicken as good as it gets . The best you will find this side of the city . And the soups are quality as well

Lady serving was lovely unfortunately this is far from authentic Caribbean food, hard veg, jerk chicken was anything but jerk, curried prawns were in fact aced and salt fish flavoured prawns overall appalling wouldn’t recommend!

Soup was delicious. Mutton dinner and fried dumplings were stale and disgusting. Straight in the bin. Old left over food

First I order it was delicious food tastest lovely and hot but when I ordered again the stew chicken was tasteless and fried chicken was dry and tough the festival's was also very tough I will order again and hope things will be better just eat gave me a refund as I complained about it

The best around always go for the mutton rice and peas with steamed veg. Very satisfying and proper food

The food is absolutely succulent and delicious. From a person who travels to a Caribbean (Grenada) on a regular basis the food meets the "Pepsi challenge". If you want to set up their you would do extremely well :-). Keep up the excellent quality of food.

Unfortunately wrong curry was sent, so had to request a refund as I don't eat the curry that was sent (probably on accident)..however will use the refund to purchase again in near future as accidents happen! Overall delicious food and can't wait to taste the curry chicken.l next time

This food is it some bones in the boneless only like 2 but minor. Very nice food. The patties are good to. My new spot now.

Do not eat from here Food was terrible so bad that I threw it away, but unfortunately I'd eaten enough to make meself very sick. I haven't been able to move out of bed and have had cramps in my stomach for nearly 24 hours. There were a couple of red flags when we entered the shop that to Ignore, due to the review's online. There were piles of rice In large silver catering trays just sitting on the windowsill, and just a general smell of damp. If you are going to order from here I would definitely collect so you can see for yourself. My friend had chicken wings that were just thrown in the microwave in front of him, he took one look when we left and didn't even try them, as they looked so bad. Reheating certain food like rice and chicken Is not the best idea. The 5 star rating shown on the menu is definitely not genuine. I wish I'd have followed my instincts and left.

Have used Zack's frequenty and it remains the best take-away in Sutton Coldfield. The Callaloo veg dish is much improved with the additional pepper you add now - keep it up. You just need to add another vegetarian dish to your menu guys - a good veg curry (not too much coconut milk)

Great food, seems lovely and authentic. Could do with maybe a vegetarian gravy or vegetarian stew/curry dish on the menu, and unfortunately they did forget to bring one item from our order (which was only just on time anyway). BUT all in all we were very impressed with the meal and would love to order from them again.

There are plenty of Caribbean food places closer to me but Zak’s is the best by far. Brown stew chicken was amazing as usual. Delivery was quick and delivery guy was polite. Portion sizes are huge and price is more than fair.

It was later than expected. Had to call up to chase the order. But once we called it only took 10 to 15 mins to arrive

Ordered from Zacks many times, always really impressed by food and service. You guys forgot my veg pattie again though (but I know from past experience that if I could have been bothered to ring you would have sorted this). My only suggestion is to get a veg curry on your menu - you're too limited for the vege/vegan crowd and we're growing in number. All the best, keep up the good work

I never leave reviews. But after my meal being slightly late I am HAPPY to say it was worth the wait! Taste amazing, meat cooked perfectly, lovely driver. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Will be ordering again 1000%
