Ordered the kebab platter for starter it was £5.25 we had one small bit of lamb, one small bit of chicken, the skinniest kebab I’ve ever seen, the size of my little finger, a tiny dried up onion bahgi, should be ashamed at the amount considering the price, will never order food again from this restaurant

Wasn’t the best Indian I’ve had. The coconut chutney was dark green and hardly any coconut to it.

Delicious food. Ordered lamb biryani, mixed kebab starter with onion baghee, keema naan, poppadoms and Chutney tray. Forst time ordering as changed from last one which wasnt very nice anynore. Definatley order from them again.

We had chicken tikka korma, pilau rice, chicken tikka dansak, mushroom rice and 2 keema naans. Unfortunately, they were all very tasteless. Everything needed to have its seasoning doubled. If this had of been our first time then we wouldn't go back. Hopefully it was just a one off bad night, because normally everything is delicious.

Had text at 6.15 saying food on the way. I checked details and wrong address was on order despite me changing it several times. No phone call to explain problem so called restaurant at 6.45 to make enquiries. Finally took delivery around 7.10 when driver said he'd gone to wrong address at 6.20. If he had only called me he would see I only live a few houses down from where he was. This all resulted in the food being cold and the bread cold and soggy.

Absolutely lovely Lamb Korma and Chicken Balti, Keema Naan was out of this world. Best Indian I've had in a long while

The chicken curry was lovely yet the portion of the Bombay potato’s was very small , it’s a potato’s not an expensive dish soo i was expecting little a bigger portion and it was nice soo it’s a shame . Def would order again

Probably the worst Indian takeaway I’ve had, I’m not very fussy but it was horrible. The chicken pakora was just pieces of chicken tikka with soggy batter. Chips were cold and like cardboard, keema rice was bland, chicken madras smelt rotten and only 4 pieces of chicken in it. So disappointed. And I let the delivery driver keep the change. Won’t be ordering again

Three hours from time of order to delivery. Difficult to contact to check on the order and the two times I got through they said it was on its way, yet still didn’t arrive until 40 minutes after my call and I live 10 minutes from the restaurant. Would not recommend.

Delivery extremely late. Tried calling the restaurant multiple times, but always engaged. In the end used the just eat message function and had a reply (I’m guessing because just eat monitors…). Food ok but main was luke warm.

Despite ordering early food was almost an hour late .We ordered a king prawn dish which felt that it been cooked and kept warm as the prawns had almost shrivelled up and the lamb meat was really tough . Disappointed as had good meals previously

Absolutely stunning I had a chicken Shaslick with massla sauce and a chutney tray and a lamb dhansk . Food was delivered 5 mins early than stated which was brilliant. Recommend this place fantastic.

I have always enjoyed the food from Taj Mahal, however, I ordered chicken biryani and chips, with a poppadoms and mint sauce yesterday and was shocked at the small portions and lack of chicken, vegetables and potato in the sauce, compared to previously. That, added to the greatly increased prices over the last few months means that, despite years of loyalty to them, I will not be using Taj Mahal in future. Very disappointed.

Food was delivered on time and was hot. No missing items. Food was delicious. I would recommend the Tandoori King Prawns in particular. This was only our second time ordering from the Taj Mahal but we will definitely order from them again.

Biriyani was super dry rice fried with onions, turmaric added some tastless chicken chunks which is not a biriyani at all,no aroma of biriyani was there. Chicken dish was tasteless too. The Chef didnt even follow the request I have made for the food. Total waste of money.

Really nice dishes delivered hot and on time. Mushroom jalfrezi was spicy, next time I'll order more mint chutney! I only realized it was a spicy dish after I ordered it but it was very nice.

Only ordered a few small items, onion bajhis were hard and burnt, mushroom rice was tasteless and the king prawn butterflied and fried in breadcrumbs was like a brick.

Food had no flavour, the chicken was hard like rubber. Undercooked paratha. Won't ever order again.

We decided to try Taj Mahal as our usual Indian restaurant was closed and frankly we won’t be using Taj Mahal again. We didn’t want a set curry so decided to order a selection of starters, as we have done with other Indian restaurants in the past. Portion sizes were laughable, both the meat samosa and chicken spring roll starters were £3.50 each and consisted of 2 samosas and 2 spring rolls, all of a standard size, not large ones - that works out that each samosa and spring roll was £1.75. The other Indian restaurants provide 4 spring rolls or 4 samosas for that price. The chicken tikka starter consisted of 6 small pieces of chicken and was bland, the lamb tikka starter was also 6 small pieces but was both bland and dry. The seekh kebab starters were tasty but small, as were the haryal kebabs. The onion bhajis were overcooked and hard. The plain naan was smaller than I’ve had elsewhere and a bit thin and burnt in places, making it chewy. The Peshwari naan was nice. Personally we don’t consider chopped onions an onion chutney but the mint sauce and the mango chutney in the chutney tray were nice. It’s lucky the mint sauce was nice as receiving a full takeaway tub of it was a surprise. We ordered at 6:15pm with a delivery of between 7:25pm and 7:45pm. At just after 7:15pm the “food is on its way” notification came through, food however didn’t turn up until nearly 8pm and Google Maps has them 3 miles/12 minutes away.

Tasty food. We had Onion Bhaji, a Chicken Tikka Dansak, Lemon Rice, Bombay Potatoes & Poppadoms. Everything was delicious. The Dansak was creamy and spicy and especially good. The Bombay Potato was a VERY small portion, even for a side dish. There were 6 small chunks of potatoes to share between 3 of us. Due to this we probably wouldn't order a veg side again. Otherwise it was great and we would happily order from here again.

Unfortunately, I ordered a chicken biryani at 7.40pm and was given a delivery time of 8.25pm. My food was delivered at 7.53pm, but did not taste very nice. I can only assume it was either warmed up or rushed through the cooking stage, as the sauce was quite watery, had barely any vegetables and the whole thing was quite tasteless. Very disappointed.

Tried Chicken biryani and Tandoori chicken. Biryani was pretty good and flavorful. But I'm not so happy with the Tandoori chicken. The taste was not so authentic and there was too much colour in the chicken. They offered free salads and gravy, and we loved it.

First time ordering from here - wasn't too overwhelmed by the "Malayan curry" it just seemed like Korma sauce, with no evidence of even any veg in it... with a pineapple slice (from a tin) thrown on top and a few prawns thrown in to the mix. That being said, the naan bread was alright and the service was good. I don't often order Indian, but when I do, often lean more towards what I know are made with good quality ingredients. Thanks, all the same!

Ordered food tonight and paid using my card online. There was an offer on 10% off if you spend so and so. The order turns up and there's not one but two men and they are asking me for money because apparently we didn't pay for the keema rice. Glad I wasn't on my own because two men at the door can be intimidating. How could I have not paid for the rice if I paid online?! I showed them the receipt but they were still insisting we pay for the rice. I refused to pay because it was absolutely ridiculous request and I felt intimidated by two men showing up at my doorstep asking for money. We were going back and forth for a bit so when we got the food it was cold. Very disappointed especially cause I've ordered from here before and I previously enjoyed it.

Chicken biryani was plentiful, but not very warm, possibly due to them having difficulty locating my address. Delicious and tasty curry, with a poppadom and mint sauce. 😋 lovely. Recommend.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. Food arrived hot, friendly driver, good flavours, generous portions - but overall have had better elsewhere in Swansea before. 45 minutes late - after I delayed delivery by an extra 20 mins to start with. So won't order again.

Food was on time and hot. Full of flavour and lovely mushroom rice, curry sauce was awful but rest of meal was fab.

When the food arrived it was on time but there were items missing. When I contacted the restaurant to tell them this I was met with a very rude member of staff who told me that the item was definitely put in the bag. After about a tan minute discussion they said they’d send the missing items

The food arrived lovely and hot but unfortunately it was well over half an hour over the estimated time so in total we waited over 2 hours from the time we ordered!
