Just moved into this area 5 weeks ago and since have discovered yummy kitchen. All the meals that iv had have been beautiful, they’re full off flavour and generous (hope they don’t read this and cut back on portion size). I will continue to go to Yummy as I enjoy it very much. In fact just finished one and they didn’t let me down. Delivery was earlier than first said, meal best yet, so no complaints all round.

This is my favourite local Chinese restaurant! Great food for a movie night, or if it's just too late to cook. The staff are lovely and polite people, the food is ready fairly quick, and the quality of the food is excellent. It's fresh, always has lots of sauce, and is always the perfect temperature. Yummy Kitchen never lets me down! :)

Average meal for a Chinese. Had a meal delivered.to us as lazy to go out. Had curry, chips, shredded chicken and prawn crackers. Nothing special. Banana fritters were absolutely soaked in sugary liquid. Prawn crackers were nice though. Chips bit soggy.

Canceled my order on Uber eats for no reason it don’t shut for another 1 hour and 30 minutes first time trying to buy anything from here and that happens nice off them

Sweet and sour chicken - chicken was crispy instead of soggy, lots of sauce and veg Egg fried rice - really tasty Mini spring rolls - very crispy with soft instead Overall, enjoyed the entire meal!! Staff was very patient and friendly as we picked our food, will definitely return :)

I ordered from here a couple of times, but there’s always a issue with delivery, last time I ordered they didn’t deliver it, and didn’t let me know that they couldn’t deliver it, until I called 2 hours later.

No delivery at all! I am not sure how the food tastes because they never seem to be able to deliver, they also not let you know if the food can’t be delivered, over two hours waiting for food and you have to call to ask for the status of your food just to say that they won’t be able to deliver it.

Tasty food, wide range of available dishes. Allowed us to do a small substitution free of charge. Overall very happy with the quality of service

Low quality food. I ordered beef fried rice and it was brown! Overloaded with soy sauce. The beef wasn't even marinated, just beef rice and soy sauce thrown together. Will not be coming back to this establishment.

I just had special fried rice and there was nothing special about it at all. It was dark brown in colour and could not have tasted less fresh. I normally eat from taste good and will stick with that from now on. This food was disgusting!

Used this place a few times before but after tonight's meals will not be back. First of all there was a long hair in my husbands ribs then the chicken in the salt n chilli wings was red raw disgusting avoid at all costs

Really lovely place and love that it's Halal because i love this food but if i can just make 1 suggestion that would make this place 100% perfect for me, would be to also include in their menu a portion of just plain crispy noodles. On menu you can only order them as a meal with something and i love crispy noodles so much! Used to get them at others in big bags salted and really cheap. Twice i've ordered now from here and having to phone up after ordering to then have to pay an extra £3 to delivery man. Be so helpful for those of us who don't carry cash and order online if this was on their menu please. Requesting because i love this place. Thankyou i pray this will be done ASAP :)

Ordered at 5:45pm, gave up at 8pm and refunded via Deliveroo. Delivery times have gotten beyond a joke and the standard response is that your order is 10 mins away without even knowing your name/address/order details.

Really great quality place, everything comes as you would expect from a really good Chinese takeaway and is always on time if not early. It is the best ive tried in the Edinburgh area so I would definitely recommend it.

Which i wasn't doing as already ordered via uber eats. after 20 mins THEY cancelled the order and Ubereats billed us. They told us driver broke down. called to make another delivery and they said they could deliver in 5 minutes, when said what the postcode was they told us they couldn't. Dont order, terrible service, and ive still been charged for food they cancelled and never delivered.

A great place for takeaway. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and the quality and quantity are excellent. They're definitely my choice for Chinese delivery.

Absolutely awful. AVOID. Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Tasteless, cold & burned food that I wouldn't even feed to a dog. It all had to go straight in the bin. See if you can spot any prawns in the toast in the picture, because I couldn't. Delivery was 45 minutes late. I would rather eat the contents of my cat's litter tray than food from here.

Food was cold & tasteless. The supposedly "crispy" noodles were soggy & inedible. The sweet & sour had no flavour - the sauce was just orange coloured water. The duck was dry. The seaweed was burned. I wouldn't feed this food to a dog.

The best chinese takeaway in Edinburgh. Food is very delicious and staff are friendly and amazing service. Delivery is also not too long . Highly recommend to order Chinese food from here.

Disgusting food waited over 90 minutes for my food it turned up near cold and very oily customer service was terrible please dont order from here worst experience of a take away service I have ever had would not even give it 1 star ....

When we visiting my daughters home wecwalk every time nearby yummy kitchen. The smell is great.. So a view days ago we order there chinees food for four persons.. Everything was great/fresh and tastfull. Friendly staff We had enough for almost 2 days 😎 We forgot to make pictures of it..

I ordered a takeaway for myself and my family last night at 7pm through Deliveroo. It then said it would arrive at 9pm (already I was disappointed with how long this was, however it was a saturday night so I understood it would be busy). The food then did not arrive at the expected time, I called the restaurant and the woman on the phone said it was on its way and would be 20 minutes. 40 minutes later, it still hadn't arrived, despite deliveroo saying the food "had been delivered". She then said it would be another 30 minutes- (very confusing as I had already been told it was on its way??). By this time it is 10pm, and she then refusing to refund my food, and offers me a 10% discount for food that was 3 hours late. Absolutely shocking service, I wasn't given a refund despite being outright lied to about where my food was several times. On arrival the food was exceptionally average. DO NOT ORDER TAKEAWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!

Got this as a delivery. Several chicken dishes, spring rolls, bbq spareribs. The meals were all uninspiring, and at their base, tasteless. The restaurant tries to make up for that with thick and copious sauces which were too thick, bland and unappetising. I guess my search for a good chinese restaurant that delivers in Edinburgh continues.

I'm not normally big on chinese food but this takeaway changed my mind a little. Really good food (vegetable chow mein is a must) and the staff were really friendly! would definitely recommend this place

Big double height cartons so you get plenty food, good strong flavours unlike the usual generic fare and decent choice of dishes. Recommended.

A brand new neighbourhood takeaway, the food from here was great with friendly staff too. As well as the usual Chinese menu there is also a Dim Sum section, Malaysian section and Korean section. The Sui Mei were good and the Wor Tips were great, fried with a little colour rather than the flabby, sweating ones you often get. The Malaysian Curry was good although I would have preferred a thicker sauce and the Spicy Korean Beef was good too although for me it could have had more chilli to live up to it's name. All in all - I'll be returning !
