Yummy King in Canterbury

I placed an order, and after waiting for over an hour, I telephoned to chase up my order. I was asked which platform I used, and said none, I ordered directly from you. They apologised and said it will be another 15 minutes as they were waiting for a driver to return. It took a further 20 minutes and nearly 2 hours wait. The website said 30 minutes waiting time. The food was not overly hot, and I was a minute from cancelling the whole order

So 8 of us went we sat down and waited after half an hour 2 small chicken balls came out ,to which the kids ate in 10 seconds ,it seemed only one dish came out every half an hr so you drank loads of drink waiting by that time your to full to eat .I can see how they make there money an absolute con.another half a hr we waited until the rice came out to go with the dishes which where now cold asked 3 times where was the rest of the meal kids where still hungry adults where now at breaking point after waiting an hr and a half for 2 small dishes and some chips and chicken balls ,we asked for our money back as we got there half the restaurant was asking the same ,don’t bother go to McDonald’s young lad at McDonalds gave the kids crayons to calm them down ate food left,if you’ve got 24 hrs to eat as much as u can and also have got 24 hrs to wait for your meal then it’s great,noticed ok if your Chinese as they all had there meals within minutes ,no customer service at all very rude JUST DONT BOTHER !!!!!

Terrible. Only alcohol is bottle Budweiser beer, bottomless warm flat coke available though! After 40 minutes we asked for our money back (you have to pay before you get seated). As we still hadn’t had any food from their limited menu. Staff are too young, wearing gum kit and haven’t got a clue what they are doing

Food was absolutely shocking waste of time and money paid £31 for practically a bowl of rice. everything tasted of fish the staff were rude DO NOT USE THIS PLACE worst chinese on this earth. will not recommend to the homeless let alone paying customers what a shambles the place is weird people should be closed down .felt like I was eating a microwave meal wish I had do not throw money down the drain using this s@@t hole

3 hours of waiting, ordered at 17.40 phoned them at 19.00 apparently one chef is only chef on. Girl on the phone was very clearly not over 15 years old. Promised it would be there in 30 mins. It's now 20.19. Nothing here no phone calls. Nothing. Absolutely appauling way to run a take-away business. Clearly not set up to deal with orders at the weekend In the slightest. Would negative star if I could.

Generally nice food. But I'm afraid I have to point out here to people that they refuse tap water. I had to buy a bottle of water for £1.80. There weren't any in the fridge and they had to run off and grab one from their shop next door which was luke warm. And one of those really thin bad quality plastic bottles. And to note, I don't like bottled water, not just because tap water is free, but I don't like the idea that it has been sitting in plastic for however long, not to mention the sustainability environmental issues. I shall take my own if I go again, in my own personal water bottle.

Poor experience. We will not be returning or recommending. We paid £38 for the buffet immediately upon arrival, only to plate our food up and realise it was cold. The best way I can think to describe it is, I felt like I was eating last nights Chinese or when you go back to it a few hours later because you’re peckish again. We complained within 10 minutes and eventually received a full refund. We did explain to the waitress that with regards to taste, it was lovely but you don’t expect it to be cold, nor to be offered ‘Shall we heat it up in the microwave for you’. As for our drinks, two cokes, they came in small paper cups, only to be described as what you’d find at a bowling alley.

This is the best chinese I'd had ate very yummy and delicious will order again. ❤️❤️❤️ I would recommend.
