What an incredible find. Josh and Dexter were amazing lads made our lunch very pleasant. I asked Dexter for a recommendation and Josh cooked the skate which was the best fish and chips i ever had. Chips is home made, fish was incredibly fresh. I would definitely travel from London just to have it again.

What a fantastic meal we had here, all cooked fresh while you wait. Not a big place but WOW what tasty food, nice salad and fried samphire with your fish and chips great touch. We dont normally eat all the batter but the batter was light and not over cooked, so didnt leave any. If you are in Whistable please try it and enjoy.

Probably the best fish n chips (mackerel) I’ve ever had, anywhere, period. OK, so it wasn’t your traditional battered and deep fried, as I was offered a healthier option of having it grilled with garlic butter. OMG - it was amazing. In every aspect. Could not fault it and can’t wait to take my wife to Whitstable (even though it’s 60 miles away) to try it.

Sometimes simple is the best. Fresh fish, beautifully cooked, with ex excellent chips and a side of samphire, all for a very reasonable price. We had whole grilled sea bass and fried sardines. Perfect!

What you see is what you get. This place does fish and chips (with some crispy samphire on the side if you eat in) And that’s pretty much it. Not trying to be fancy and add in lots of extras, just beautifully cooked fresh fish with proper chips for under a tenner served with a friendly smile. And it is delicious. If it was practical I would drive here daily from London every lunchtime. A must visit

The burgers from Rad are consistently the best I've ever had in my life, whether it be the Camterbury pop up shops or their branch in Whitstable. The move to The Pound will bring a different clientèle because it is not a fast food set-up but the quality was excellent. Bonus: if you dine there, you can get free entry to the museum, but check the opening times to ensure it is open.

We visited this weekend as we have wanted to try this place since it opened earlier this year. I wish we went sooner! There’s a great variety to cater for everyone…allergies/vegetarians/kids/spicy or not spicy. We tried the bubble waffle with chicken, Singapore chicken tenders and the kids had the very generous kids meal. The chicken is so tender with great flavour and 90% of their menu is gluten free (I’m coeliac) so I was very happy as I can’t normally have food like this. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊
