Fond Coffee in Canterbury

Didn't actually pick this up via TripAdvisor but notice on Google maps after visit to Cathedral. Agree with others this is a lovely cafe with excellent coffee and cake. The cinnamon bun is excellent.

The coffee is amazing. Fantastic well considered house blend. My reviews tend to be around coffee. I not an expert but I have educated myself on the Art of Coffee and acquired a fair amount of knowledge about the subject. The beans are not over roasted. They have complex flavours which are well described on the menu. The staff really know their stuff and I can't recommend this enough. It's a bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort to find them. Nothing to do with the coffe, but oat milk in my Flat White and coffee art is hard to do with oat milk, however check out my photo - it takes great barrister skills to create the swan in oat milk. Finally I must mention the cinnamon buns, they're A-maz-ing and perfect with a coffee. I wish this coffee café was just around my corner where I come from. 20 out of 10.

We discovered this wonderful cafe/coffee shop behind the main shopping street in Canterbury - and how delighted we were. Airy, attractive space - top notch coffee and a charming and very coffee-centric owner, what more can you ask for!

Finding a good coffee in the UK is a challenge, but this slightly hidden gem in Canterbury hits all the right spots. Well made Aussie style coffee, smoothies and teas available with a nice selection of cakes. It’s a proper cafe, not a breakfast/ lunch place, I guess that’s why they specialise in great coffee. Friendly staff, quiet comfortable surroundings with a good soundtrack playing in the background. . We will be back everyday of our 12 day stay.

Local business worth supporting. Great coffee made from beans carefully selected and roasted by the guys running the shop. Delicious snacks, lovely atmosphere and friendly service. They also have a 'stamp collecting' system in place, after 6 drinks, the next one is gratis.

Excellent quality coffee always served with a smile. Velvety smooth flat whites and hot chocolates. Also, really nice homemade cakes.

My girlfriend and I have visited multiple times while walking around during lockdown and have always felt very welcome as soon as we walk in. The owners are incredibly friendly and the coffee is wonderful, its become an essential when we’re our and about

The hot chocolate is awesome because it's a perfect temperature and the pattern is cool . The food is amazing . Highly recommended to come to this amazing cafe.
