Yummy House in Plymouth

First and last time I will eat from her. It was recommended to me so thought I would give it a try, wish I never bothered. Beef chow mean noodles were nice beef was disgusting, you could literally smell it had gone off. Will not be going here again.

I have been looking for decent Chinese takeaway which is reasonably priced and good food and have found this place. Omg this place is awesome very reasonable excellent staff and most importantly the food is superb. This is a must try believe me chicken balls are massive and very tasty and just everything I have ordered we have been very impressed. Ordered online and was ready within 2 mins of arrival and all piping hot. Thank you yummy house

A friend recommended Yummy House to me and they were absolutely right to do so. My expectations were more than exceeded by the high quality of food. Everything was delicious, with generous portions and cooked to perfection. I ordered the sweet chilli king prawns with Singapore fried rice and both were lovely. My housemate also expressed his satisfaction with his order too, even with his initial hesitation to use a different place. I'm a very fussy eater and my usual Chinese takeaway place has gone downhill in recent months (and I've stopped buying from there), so I'm extremely happy to have found another nearby. I don't often buy takeaway, but it's nice to have somewhere that makes good food for those occasions when you don't fancy cooking at home. Will definitely be coming here again, that's for sure! ☺️

We enjoyed the food we had, but had to reheat it. I ordered sweet and sour king prawns Hong Kong style and received Chicken, disappointed although it was quite nice. We will try again, another time.🙂

just orded a takeaway and to my surprice it was the owner wife what a lovly lady very polite ive had this chinese for a long time and never made a review the food has never changed it is all ways a 5 star thank you to the wife of the owner and the owner for making amazing food

Ordered from Yummy House last night for the first time and it was excellent. We set a pretty high bar when it comes to Chinese and this is the first takeaway in Devon to meet that bar. The food was hot and fresh and the flavours well balanced and the service was quick and friendly. We would highly recommend and will be back.

I tried Yummy House for the first time this evening and was very, very impressed! The food was delicious, very tasty, hot, and the portion sizes were very good. This was genuinely the best Chinese takeaway meal I've had in years, and I will definitely be back! This is now my new favourite Chinese takeaway and I will be recommending to friends and family.

Hidden gem. Food always fresh, tasty and quick. First and only Chinese takeaway we use. Never had any complaints with the quality of ingredients or the service. I usually order online and collect to speed the process up but delivery has always arrived within the specified time. Very friendly family at the premises too.

First time using this Chinese! Very polite lady ! Food was good not the best in the UK and far from the worse The thing that let it down was the chicken curry! Bland chicken and hardly any taste! Sorry I'm being honest! Marande and season goes a long way in taste. Special fried rice very tasty. Sweet sour chicken balls, tasty ish Bbq spare ribs very tasty Spring rolls were ok! Fried rice nothing special! Wontog soap, very nice. Different to others I've had! King prawn chow main, very nice. Almost £50 order and still charge me £2:50 for delivery!
