Today 4/7 New owner Slow to process order Late No apology Cold Never again

Called in for some salt and pepper chips. £4 for a small sized portion and they tasted like skeletons toes! Awful.

We used to eat here regularly but not in the future. The prices have been hiked ridiculously...£5 for salt and pepper chips !!.Also, the quality of the food has gone downhill.

Food was disgusting!! I don't need to say anything else.

This Chinese never fails to deliver! Excuse the pun! We alway get food here weekly and spend 20-30 pounds. Staff are really friendly and the food is always good. We have never had a bad meal yet. Well done team, your are amazing x

Great food! Best in Leigh, it’s full of meat and flavour.

Got to be the most disappointing Chinese food I’ve ever ordered, the crispy duck and salt n pepper chicken was dry with the latter not tasting of salt or chilli, siu mai and chicken chow mien was bland so overall not worth buying. Could have gotten better in a supermarket.

Ordered a delivery for a specific time. They chose to ignore this and deliver over 20 minutes early. I rang them and they couldn't care less. When I said I wouldn't order from the again, she said "Good"!! Avoid unless you want to be treated like this!!

The best food ever I loved it so much especially the chicken and sweet corn soup none went to waste. Would definitely go again!

It was the worst food I have ever had also they don't do peas or gravy though it was a chippy stay away

Fish batter was uncooked inside 😔 otherwise I'd have given three stars. Also felt a bit sorry for the very young girls serving. One was only about six running in and out of the kitchen with hot food.

Oh dear it’s the first and last time I will order from here the food is horrible. Chicken and black bean sauce covered in black pepper, inedible. Chicken satay , rubber, inedible. Chips could possibly have be re fried 4 or 5 times. Oven chips too not made in house from a potato. Chicken fried rice, rubber chicken again in a heavy fried rice. Starter box containing two dry ribs, one prawn toast, one wonton and two chicken wings, probably the best item we received but no one even after a dare would touch the chicken wings. A very very expensive waste

Pretty good food and the app is really handy

Been a couple of times now. Not my usual but worth it! Food is always as expected, arrives hot, and within stated time. Never had any issues with restaurant or delivery, it's all very pleasant.

Excellent food form these guys always fresh cooked and really nice . Highly recommend.

Ordered a portion of chips, then noticed the fryer wasn't on. Stood waiting for about ten minutes and then a wrapped portion was brought from the back. No salt & vinegar offered. When I got home I opened it up to find frozen oven chips that had obviously just been fried in the back kitchen! Absolute joke.

You know a good place to order your takeaway when you find yourself going back again and again. Never let us down with the quality and the lady who delivered it was really pleasant. Delivery was quicker than Usain Bolt!!

Just had a take away from here tonight, food bland and zero flavour, won't be ordering again

Very disappointed tonight. Ordered salt and pepper chicken which to be fair was nice. At same time ordered a portion of chips which was the worse chips we've ever had. The chips were obviously frozen chips and heated or cooked. The texture was bland and didn't taste of chips. Yummy house used to make lovely chips. Don't know why they are using frozen chips. Avoid the chips at all costs.

Sorry to say was really disappointed with the meal. Was barely warm chicken like rubber. Special was tasteless, so won't be using it again

Food we got was good but a little salty for my taste and order was short of one item, which we were charged for. Not sure if I'd order from here again.

Love this Chinese takeaway! We haven't found a better one and it is always ready in around 15 mins which is perfect for when it gets too late to cook.

Ordered house special fried rice, Absolutely nothing special about it. On opening my food I was greeted with what can only described as cremated fried rice. Rice was a dark brown colour and the meat burnt in places. Wont be ordering again, many thanks yummy for ruining my tea.

Best Chinese Chippy ever, great food!

Just add stir fried scallops and veg £9.30 very poor just a bit of fried veg then spot the scallops only a few slices and taste less not recommended for this price

We have been using this takeaway for 25 years and seen several different owners some of which have left then returned , as with the current owners ! The current owners have been the best in terms of quantity , quality and price. Unfortunately over the past 18 months or so things have changed quite a lot . If you order your food over the phone we are told it will be ready in 10 minutes but when you arrive 10 minutes later you are quite often waiting an extra 15 minutes. I went on spec today and was kept waiting for 20 minutes plus for a small order ! It seems now that they a largely more interested in preparing food for Just Eat deliveries, and this means that people waiting in the shop have a long long wait ! Prices have just gone up, portions are now smaller, service is poor and in addition they are reheating chips left over from lunch time . I am considering not going there again !!!

For once no sugar added to the salt and pepper, reason for 3 stars food was a bit oily

Ordered online for delivery, arrived half an hour late. Delivery driver was very pleasant. Could not fault the food, will definitely order from there again. Delicious 🌻

Totaly disappointed ! Asked for lightly battered fish... omg it was cremated! Im sure that the oil was old,was so dark brrown! Tasted awful! Salt & pepper chips! Ive now drrank 3 pints of juice they were that salty,ate here before but this was terrible! Not impressed ‘ will go somewhere else!

Consistently good food since new management in place.

Usually like this place, however was disappointed recently. Ordered hot & sour soup and Thai Style Chicken. Got home, soup tasted like tin/ iron, metallic like it had been left in a can, almost like blood and was like jelly. Thai chicken was just chicken and mushroom.....rang up and asked if theyd given me the wrong meal, to be told they dont do Thai Chicken? (its on the board) They just take chicken and mushroom and pour a little bit of sweet chilli sauce on it....sorry but Thai food is lemongrass, coconut, spices, herbs, veg, ginger, chillies etc. Very poor and all went in the bin, wont be back.
