McDonald's in Wigan

I've been there for my past two birthdays, Christmas and New Year. Not because I wanted to, but simply waiting to get served. If you're planning to go, take a sleeping bag with you. Drive through not working (again), all the electronic ordering boards not working, and they couldn't sell food. Past three times prior to this, the wait (for two cars) at the drive-through was, on average, 15 to 20 minutes. Honestly, it's like watching that scene from the Matrix film where time stands still. It takes that long they may have woolly mammoth burgers on the menu. If you ever need the Police in an emergency, head over to the place because there are always plenty of officers waiting for food there!

We love McDonald's, and most of the time, we order home. However, we've been a few times on this location, and every time, we've noticed that the restaurant is not very clean.

Don’t bother ordering sauces they will never arrive, buy reusable straws because you won’t receive it from here. Whoever packs the orders here needs to find a new job.

Absolutely DISGUSTING. They Drowned my burger in sauce, tasted like drinking a bucket of syrup… had to throw most of it out

Hi, while down in Wigan today, we called into your drive-through and made an order. As we were traveling back home to Lancaster, the Coke tasted awful. We thought maybe it was the grease from the chips, but it wasn't. The Coke was off or something, and I'm sure there will be others [who feel the same way]. I'm assuming someone will know about this, as I'm sure other customers have complained. By the time we reached Preston, both of us started having stomach pains, and by the time we got home, we were throwing up and rushing to the toilet. We're not feeling very well.

Food always cold service poor Called again today. Cashier served 3 vehicles while I was waiting then got my order wrong Absolute rubbish service. Avoid

Why can't all the delivery drivers park in the McDonald's car park rather than blocking the road out front.

Just your average mcdonals. But the man sat under the drive through was a bit strange.

Maccies with a slippy floor. As with all maccies, service has gone down the pan since delivery drivers and drive thrus took priority. Food was cooked well though.

Absolutely shocking place absolute mongs can’t even get your order right they give you collection orders need to seriously sort it out or employee people that actually know what there doing!

This is more like it a very spacious room to eat in plus wait in the space means a lot has they seem to have compacted most McDonald s outlets now which for a fat bloke like me you can’t use the toilet facilities but this place you can move around freely and take a pee without being shoulder to shoulder in the men’s or trying to get into the cubicle like an obstacle course/ I like this one so much room for activity s.

Ordered 4 flurrys, 3 apple pies...over 30 mins later still no food, asked for refund. Shift manager louise was rude and refused to look at how long we had waited. She tried to say apple pies took 8 mins to cook...well we certainly waited longer...will definitely not be returning here.

Love the food it's McDonald's. But every time I order from here they mess my order up. Every time. My kids have not got there food one time. If they don't have something left they have replaced it with something eles......or it's come cold please step up.

I’d give them no stars if I could but absolute shit show of a McDonald’s, can’t get an order right for the life of them drive through is always shut, complete wrong order or something missing, staff are clearly lazy as can’t simply read a receipt to put what was actually ordered in a bag absolute joke! and then when you go in to tell them order is wrong no one at the counter so stood there another half an hour before you actually speak to someone and then complete waste of time

Ordered food inside and missed my 6 nugget meal went back in and they forgot my dips how stupid can one place be

Haven't been to St-Helens for donkeys years but needed to go to H Samuel's, the girls there are fab. Then popped next door to the Frangrance shop left 1 hour later 5 tonne lighter. Awesome!

Nice because it's opened 24h so when is nothing to do, im taking my children and we are going for a coffee.

Very slow on table service food . Nice chips burger a little cold

Avoid. Absolutely incompetent staff has some absolutely rude, staff half of them can never get an order right, it’s a joke, food is barley edible, never get an order that’s correct, fries like eating rubber cardboard nuggets nothing but oil n no taste, less you want food poisoning avoid

ALWAYS slow here, do not expect to be in and out of this particular McDonald's, went in for a coffee, 45 minutes later, got a coffee, half full, no milk. Other times have been for food with friends and they've taken so long that we've given up and left.

The order was duplicated and charged to the app and also at the drive-through window, so 1 order and two payments were taken. Very inconvenient!

We placed the order at 7.30 and it arrived at 10pm after saying it would be here at 8.15, when it arrived it was also cold wasnt very happy with the service yesterday

I have received the food stone cold and the banana milkshake can in a small Corton like one you can buy from the shop for 50pence.

said delivered & even after we had spoke to them on the phone & stood outside they still didn't deliver it then switched their phone off so on top of food refund I want additional costs of service & delivery back too

Where do I start the worst mcdonalds in wigan .order our food through drive through not a big order to be honest .got to the window the cocky girl who served us told us to park up the amount of cars parked up.on double yellow lines was really bad it's meant be fast food and we couldn't park up because there was no room.so said we would wait the girl said you can't wait so I'll give you a refund. Another girl came with our food slammed it down and said we have just rushed your food because you wouldn't park up at this point I got angry at the way we was being spoke to so I got out my car to speak to the manger the girl who slammed our food down then stuck the middle finger up at me and started laughing you can imagine my anger. The manager didn't seem bothered too . Horrible staff horrible management horrible service .and there was 3 homeless outside spitting all over the floor which they should of told move .disgusting..aswell has cars parked everywhere waiting for food Certainly will not be going back there and going to write a formal complaint to head office

I ordered a bbq chicken bacon wrap meal with no lettuce and no tomato and when it came the wrap was completely wrong it was just chicken and lettuce but I’m highly allergic to lettuce so I’m very disappointed the rest of the meal was fine

Horrendous, burger missing a no resolution

every single time I order from this local mcdonalds something is missing. it could be the condiments which isn't a big issue nor ruins the meal but more a tad annoying. It does occur every order however. Today also one of the drinks is missing AGAIN plus it's an item that I do pay you for. I usually

Shocking! The food took an hour to arrive and when it did eventually come it was freezing cold… absolutely inedible. To make it even more infuriating, the woman who delivered my ‘meal’ thumped on my door, waking up my entire household, then got in her car and drove off before I had even opened the door. We waited 15 minutes longer for our food and when it arrived, the two cokes had spilled in the bottom of the bag, food items were missing (9 nuggets, a quarter pound cheese burger and a medium fries). I tried to call the restaurant to see if we could have the rest of our food delivered but there was no answer. I am very unhappy with this service

They keep missing items from my online order. My 10 years old son would know how to count the number of ice cream or different between small and medium-sized smoothies. The staff need to be tested in their maths skills or get someone to check the orders before sending. Although I still enjoy the food but this practice is upsetting.

Just when you think the food and service couldn't get any worse then on this visit it was awful. Seems like nobody is interested, staff can't be bothered. Food isn't the best to start off with , but on this occasion it was the worst we've ever had.

Last couple of days missing items in every order

it has just cost me almost £10 for a portion of fries and half a cup of milkshake because half the order wasn't delivered.. AGAIN Also, if I tick the box for sauce with the dippers then why do they never get delivered.

my food arrived cold, the two tripple cheeseburgers had onions and pickles on when i asked for none, I AM ALLERGIC TO ONIONS, very lucky i didnt need to open the burger up or bite into it to notice also missed two straws for drinks, i have never had such a bad mcdonalds delivery, I WILL BE WANTING A REFUND IF NOT I WILL BE RINGING UP TO MAKE SURE IT GOES THROUGH!

The entrance is secluded with cars passing directly out of the door.. Not great for kids.. Accident waiting to happen..

I decided to order McDonald’s from Just Eat instead as I had ordered from Uber Eats and that had taken over an hour with still no delivery in sight. It came quickly without any type of priority. Very happy and gave the driver a cash tip.

Freezing cold food and missing a burger

Most of the orders we place to Gower St McDonalds are missing items or full meals. Surely there can be an improvement with regards to checking the order is complete before being handed for delivery.

Went in here at the weekend, granted early hours of the morning (2-3am?). I ordered at the Kiosk but it wouldn't accept my card so proceeded to select 'pay at counter' where I waited 15 minutes without a single staff member in sight, I could hear them from behind the wall chatting, swearing, and having a laugh though. I did try to raise my voice whilst at counter to get served to no avail. The restaurant wasn't exactly busy (1 car in the drive thru when I walked out), and in store was an absolute mess with rubbish on most tables and the floor, music blasting at 3am as if it was a nightclub. 0/5.

Love collecting my points with the app so a donalds drive through is a must every now an then, fast food with the balanced diet is a nice treat😋

Food was cooked and packed at 18:15. Arrived cold at 19:26. Delivery time changed at least 4 times before it was finally delivered. No-one wants cold food when ordering a takeaway. Not happy.👎
