McDonald's in Wigan

Order once a week either on Uber or Just Eat and lately every order has been wrong and/or cold. Missing the main item from meals on many occasions, if you reorder the missing item you get charged a small order fee. Store do not want to know and tell you to contact delivery partner. Yes they can issue the refund but they can’t get you to train your staff to make sure the correct items are packed. They also must run a competition on which member of staff can give out the least number of sauces because you never receive any, even the ones you pay for

Food always takes a long time leading you to be late for work

Literally order somert and they do complete opposite, happens all of the time

Slow…. The drive thru needs an escape lane! We could have gone to the shop, bought something and cooked it at home in the time it took to get anything. The food is what it is.

Good McDonalds. Restaurant was clean and had workers present cleaning. Didn't have to wait too long for the food. The milkshake flavour was wrong but quickly replaced

Spent £18 on 2 meal at the drive through. Drove 5 mins home the chips were stone cold. The mCcrispy was rock solid with the smallest slither of mayonnaise. I’m not a fussy eater but this was that bad it went in the bin.

This is the worst McDonald's I've ever had. The fries were stail I didn't get my order right they didn't give us napkins and straws and also the burgers were drowned in sauce

Usual Maccies food with fast efficient service. The place lacks any kind of atmosphere.

Delivery order. Couldn't be bothered packing the correct food before sealing. Came without 2 double cheeseburgers.

Love the food it's McDonald's. But every time I order from here they mess my order up. Every time. My kids have not got there food one time. If they don't have something left they have replaced it with something eles......or it's come cold please step up.

Without a doubt best mcdonalds I've ever been to (might be a lucky visit) but jesus h christ, wasn't asked to park up, fast service, piping hot food, order right 1st time and a quirky pull up and stuff your face car park 10/10

Great McDonald's with fast service.

Due to having disabilities & taking new medication that I must eat with, I have ordered breakfast 3 times this week. Not once was my order correct, or the menu is incorrect. I was told by the delivery driver, they had forgotten to send my drink's, so I could have the FREE on my next order. They are NOT FREE, I have already paid for them. Eggs were missing from the wraps & the hash browns were cold. To say I am disappointed with the service I have received is an understatement. I will be taking it further & sending an email to Head Office, maybe that may just make a difference & notes will be read and acted upon.

Slow service and dirty and the food was cold. Not what one would expect from McDonalds. It's removed the tomato sauce dispenser so obviously penning pinching management Toilets were out of order Bins were overflowing. Carpark was icy causing a danger to pedestrians

The chances of getting what you ordered at this outlet is remote. Time after time there has been something wrong with my order. I now apologise to anyone in the queue behind me at the drive through as I don't leave the last window until I have checked my order, which means a wait whilst they correct. The best advice I can offer is to go to the outlet at the Saddle. Then again, if you travel that far, KFC or Burger King are better options.

awful. I’ve been waiting about 30 minutes for a happy meal, grimace shake and a iced coffee, my order was apparently ‘ready’ for about 15 minutes and I had to ask 3 employees for my order, 2 walked off and didn’t say a word back. Hate this place wouldn’t recommend if people are not patient for their food my legs hurt and I’m hungry and I’m pissed off

30 minute wait for a basic order. Someone ask the staff to bathe too, the smell is unbearable.

We went through the drive through last night 21/12/24 at 9pm, a young male started to take our order. He was extremely rude, laughing at our order, said our order was “strange” and just kept saying “right okay” as if he was trying to hurry us up. The lad also laughed when we asked for one of the burgers to have no cheese and he said “haha that’s weird, that it?” What if there was an allergen issue and he is making fun of it? It by far the worst customer service I have experienced at any fast food place and it’s even more shocking the fact that these staff are ‘trained’ before interacting with customers. I asked to speak to the manager on shift and an assistant manager came over who was very apologetic and said she would speak to him immediately, she even offered part of our order free. I can not fault the assistant manager at all, however, the lad on DT needs keeping away from customers until properly trained or choose a different job that involves no customer interactions. As we pulled up to the 2nd window to collect our order, I could see him and a girl laughing about our order and the fact we’ve reported his behavior to a manager - he found it amusing.

Only order a happy meal and had to park up. No apologies and all the bays was already taken, surely they know how many people they have in the bays already.

After ordering two large 9 nugget meals through the drive through we have only received one lot of nuggets and only realised when we arrived home. We have already paid.

The staff here seem sloooooow and although they're very pleasant two cups of coffee and a breakfast roll takes longer than most other drive throughs.

Sandwich sweet chilli chicken was up to standard but fries was cold

I've been there for my past two birthdays, Christmas and New Year. Not because I wanted to, but simply waiting to get served. If you're planning to go, take a sleeping bag with you. Drive through not working (again), all the electronic ordering boards not working, and they couldn't sell food. Past three times prior to this, the wait (for two cars) at the drive-through was, on average, 15 to 20 minutes. Honestly, it's like watching that scene from the Matrix film where time stands still. It takes that long they may have woolly mammoth burgers on the menu. If you ever need the Police in an emergency, head over to the place because there are always plenty of officers waiting for food there!

We love McDonald's, and most of the time, we order home. However, we've been a few times on this location, and every time, we've noticed that the restaurant is not very clean.

Don’t bother ordering sauces they will never arrive, buy reusable straws because you won’t receive it from here. Whoever packs the orders here needs to find a new job.

Hi, while down in Wigan today, we called into your drive-through and made an order. As we were traveling back home to Lancaster, the Coke tasted awful. We thought maybe it was the grease from the chips, but it wasn't. The Coke was off or something, and I'm sure there will be others [who feel the same way]. I'm assuming someone will know about this, as I'm sure other customers have complained. By the time we reached Preston, both of us started having stomach pains, and by the time we got home, we were throwing up and rushing to the toilet. We're not feeling very well.

Why can't all the delivery drivers park in the McDonald's car park rather than blocking the road out front.

Maccies with a slippy floor. As with all maccies, service has gone down the pan since delivery drivers and drive thrus took priority. Food was cooked well though.

This is more like it a very spacious room to eat in plus wait in the space means a lot has they seem to have compacted most McDonald s outlets now which for a fat bloke like me you can’t use the toilet facilities but this place you can move around freely and take a pee without being shoulder to shoulder in the men’s or trying to get into the cubicle like an obstacle course/ I like this one so much room for activity s.

Ordered 4 flurrys, 3 apple pies...over 30 mins later still no food, asked for refund. Shift manager louise was rude and refused to look at how long we had waited. She tried to say apple pies took 8 mins to cook...well we certainly waited longer...will definitely not be returning here.

I’d give them no stars if I could but absolute shit show of a McDonald’s, can’t get an order right for the life of them drive through is always shut, complete wrong order or something missing, staff are clearly lazy as can’t simply read a receipt to put what was actually ordered in a bag absolute joke! and then when you go in to tell them order is wrong no one at the counter so stood there another half an hour before you actually speak to someone and then complete waste of time

Haven't been to St-Helens for donkeys years but needed to go to H Samuel's, the girls there are fab. Then popped next door to the Frangrance shop left 1 hour later 5 tonne lighter. Awesome!

Nice because it's opened 24h so when is nothing to do, im taking my children and we are going for a coffee.

ALWAYS slow here, do not expect to be in and out of this particular McDonald's, went in for a coffee, 45 minutes later, got a coffee, half full, no milk. Other times have been for food with friends and they've taken so long that we've given up and left.

Avoid. Absolutely incompetent staff has some absolutely rude, staff half of them can never get an order right, it’s a joke, food is barley edible, never get an order that’s correct, fries like eating rubber cardboard nuggets nothing but oil n no taste, less you want food poisoning avoid

The order was duplicated and charged to the app and also at the drive-through window, so 1 order and two payments were taken. Very inconvenient!

Where do I start the worst mcdonalds in wigan .order our food through drive through not a big order to be honest .got to the window the cocky girl who served us told us to park up the amount of cars parked up.on double yellow lines was really bad it's meant be fast food and we couldn't park up because there was no room.so said we would wait the girl said you can't wait so I'll give you a refund. Another girl came with our food slammed it down and said we have just rushed your food because you wouldn't park up at this point I got angry at the way we was being spoke to so I got out my car to speak to the manger the girl who slammed our food down then stuck the middle finger up at me and started laughing you can imagine my anger. The manager didn't seem bothered too . Horrible staff horrible management horrible service .and there was 3 homeless outside spitting all over the floor which they should of told move .disgusting..aswell has cars parked everywhere waiting for food Certainly will not be going back there and going to write a formal complaint to head office

Shocking! The food took an hour to arrive and when it did eventually come it was freezing cold… absolutely inedible. To make it even more infuriating, the woman who delivered my ‘meal’ thumped on my door, waking up my entire household, then got in her car and drove off before I had even opened the door. We waited 15 minutes longer for our food and when it arrived, the two cokes had spilled in the bottom of the bag, food items were missing (9 nuggets, a quarter pound cheese burger and a medium fries). I tried to call the restaurant to see if we could have the rest of our food delivered but there was no answer. I am very unhappy with this service

They keep missing items from my online order. My 10 years old son would know how to count the number of ice cream or different between small and medium-sized smoothies. The staff need to be tested in their maths skills or get someone to check the orders before sending. Although I still enjoy the food but this practice is upsetting.

Just when you think the food and service couldn't get any worse then on this visit it was awful. Seems like nobody is interested, staff can't be bothered. Food isn't the best to start off with , but on this occasion it was the worst we've ever had.

my food arrived cold, the two tripple cheeseburgers had onions and pickles on when i asked for none, I AM ALLERGIC TO ONIONS, very lucky i didnt need to open the burger up or bite into it to notice also missed two straws for drinks, i have never had such a bad mcdonalds delivery, I WILL BE WANTING A REFUND IF NOT I WILL BE RINGING UP TO MAKE SURE IT GOES THROUGH!
