Yumchaa in Tower Hamlets

Just go there and take the Red Velvet cake. its creamy and not too sweet. With some nice music in the back and the laidback Bricklane vibe, its a perfect place for a quick stop...

Es gibt eine große Auswahl an leckeren Teesorten. Außerdem gibt es eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an ansprechenden Süßwaren (sehr zu empfehlen ist der Brownie!!)

Pasé a desayunar durante un viaje de negocios. El local está puesto con mucho gusto y tiene varios dulces y comidas aptos para veganos, o para alérgicos a los lácteos como yo, además de leches de muchos tipos. Me tomé un trozo de bizcocho de plátano y un capuchino con leche de coco por £6.5. El tipo muy majete. Está en una zona muy hipster, llena de sitios originales y con mucha actividad. Lo único que no me emocionó mucho fue la música, una especie de rap (no soy fan).

At 57 years of age I have been in a few tea shops in my time in parts of the world but this was by far and away the worst customer service I have ever experienced.Firstly I was ignored for a few minutes despite there being nobody in the queue and then I was told they could only serve their tea in polystyrene cups the reason why because they were closing in 1 HOUR AND 40 MINUTES TIME!!!If they confess to being a tea shop they should know there is no comparison between drinking teas out of a proper tea cup.Absolutely shambolic so if you are in Brick Lane give this place a MISS there are other establishments nearby! And if you think I am a regular complainer just look at my other reviews I hardly have a bad word to say!

Au cœur de la vie londonienne (la vraie) une pause petit déjeuner avec 50 sortes de the et des gâteaux à vous faire tomber ! Le tout placé dans une rue à l'ambiance populaire et chaleureuse À faire absolument

Bonne recommandation de TA. Nous nous sommes arrêter pour un petit café froid, une tisane et un gâteau Végan à la noix de coco. Vraiment un bon service, l'endroit est propre et accueillant. Je ne le conseil pas pour manger. Ils ont des wraps et sandwich emballé qui ne semblent pas être fait sur place.

we wanted to relax with a big cup of coffee after a day shopping but unfortunately one staff member had other ideas! Aggressively, dismissively and, for some reason, repeatedly telling us we couldn't eat our own food in the cafe. Which is obvious, really, as it's a private cafe and we never had any intention of dong so but he kept returning to our table to tell us. Very odd. And really rude. We left! Can't recommend this place. Whatever reason for his attitude - long day etc. it was obnoxious and unpleasant. If you're in the area - go to Kahalia. Really friendly, relaxed, better cakes and coffee...and much better design.

Visited the tea place on a weekend trip to London with my boyfriend. The tea was tasty and there was a very wide selection so I would love to come back there one day when I'm in the city. The place was closing in 15 min when we came in and therefore we couldn't enjoy the lovely interior for too long. The service could be a bit warmer and friendlier.

Really cool vibe, but can be difficult to concentrate when trying to work. Mainly for friends or families to enjoy a chat and sip from a fine selection of top teas and cakes. I am impressed with their offer but the atmosphere needs to be more comfortable for me to fully enjoy. A casual place to enjoy a hot drink in contemporary style in a multi-cultural environment. Very Amsterdam in style and feel, good with bloggers and young hipsters I think. They had a fantastic free cake on your birthday offer though, sent via email which went down really well with me, so there is a fantastic concept there that just needs to be nurtured.

Mentre passeggiavamo per il fantastico quartiere di brick lane ci siam concessi una pausa in questo bar...e anche il giorno dopo...questo perche le torte sono ottime, i the puoi annusarli e poi sceglierli...il personale è sorridente e gentile...il posto molto carino e curato...

看名字覺得應該是香港人開的店(?)，因為 店名完全是廣東話「飲茶」的發音啊。難得來英國想試試scone，卻又怕店不是英國人開的會不正宗，但看過好多關於倫敦最好吃英式鬆餅的網上文章yumchaa均榜上有名，那就試一試吧。 果然很好吃，不會有太乾、太甜的感覺。葡萄乾也不是死甜的。 抹茶蜜桃飲料好喝，是用日本抹茶跟杏打成的，不過稍微多冰了一點。

Immer wenn wir in der Brick Lane sind, schauen wir beim Yumchaa rein, um dem Trubel der Strassen zu entfliehen und einen Tee oder Kaffee zu genießen. Dafür ist es hier perfekt. Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen, da wir meist zuvor in einer der Hallen der Brick Lane gegessen haben, wo an unzähligen Ständen Köstlichkeiten aus der ganzen Welt angeboten werden. Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Das Yumchaa ist reduziert eingerichtet und unaufgeregt gemütlich. Es lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Bedienung ist immer nett und heisst Gäste auf angenehme Art willkommen. So muss das sein. Bis zum nächsten Mal :-).

La tea room si trova a Brick Lane, quartiere di Londra molto colorato e pieno di negozi e mercati interessanti :) La tea room non è da meno, tutta in legno con tavoli e poltrone in cui fare una pausa per un ottimo tè o caffè ed un pezzo di dolce. Ce ne sono varie per tutta la città ma questa è una delle più carine, quindi vi consiglio di andare perchè la scelta è molto ampia e potete voi stessi annusare il tè prima di sceglierlo :)

I walked in here randomly because me and my grandparents wanted something to eat. The food was Good, the drinks amazing and the staff is lovely. The place is really hipster, but even my 70 years old grandparents felt welcome!

try and get to one of their tea tasting evenings which they are planning to run monthly - entertaining and informative.

The Yumchaa in Brick Lane is a great place to stop off or meet friends. Staff have always been great and I love their little teapots!

Best tea ever! Gorgeous cafe with warm welcome and friendly staff. Can recommend the caramel sweetheart tea and spiced pear is delicious too. Best way to spend a cold afternoon...ill be there again tomorrow!
