Yorkshire Spice in Calderdale

Been taken over and going downhill. Ordered over the weekend and I needed good eyesight to actually find the chicken. Shame really as we have had very nice food from there since the new owners took over. Not this time however. Hopefully just a blip.

Absolute rubbish ordered a tikka kebab got a tray of cold kebab meat. Also ordered a kebab tray with salad got kebab meat that was cold old salad and no chips. Rung up he just put phone down disgusting place will never go again

I have just had a takeaway from these guys. Yes it has been taken over. The food was good before but o my good this was the best food ever. I eat out alot and this is so much better. If you guys have not tried it then give it ago. People who know me knows I want good food for good money. Please keep this one going cos this is good that's my opinion any way.

I ordered a chicken bhuna and chicken garlic along with red donner & cheesy chips it was all fresh and tasted amazing will definitely be ordering from here again! Five stars from us! 🤩

Order quite a bit from Yorkshire Spice, the chicken tikka vindaloo is outstanding, we love it, just wish the mint sauce was better and bigger 😊

Food not as good as on previous occasions

Always loved the korma from here but this time it was way too spicy, don't mind a bit of heat but hotter than a bhuna would have been. Slightly disappointed as it ruined it a bit and definitely felt the heat for a while after. Great food otherwise this will hopefully be a one off.

Korma pizza is always lovely and got the garlic Margherita too, that was just as good. Great service as usual

Ordered a beef burger for the first time and was pleasantly surprised, good sized wasn't super greasy. Quickly delivery and good quality as always

Very disappointing. We often order from here and it’s usually good but tonight it was inedible. Naan and chips were hard and rubbery. Curry disappointing.

The food was all cold and had to be reheated. The mixed grill chicken was dry and hard to eat. Normally I like this place. Disappointed.

Food was delicious as always but unfortunately the chips were missing from the order and it was 30 minutes late (the feedback will only let me select 5). Food was still hot at least so it can’t have been sat around. It was a Tuesday which I would not have thought to be too busy. Hopefully this is a one off as I have dozens of orders from Yorkshire Spice they are my go to curry take away.

Absolutely loved this meal everything was amazing both curries (bhuna & masala), pizzas and kebabs were delicious cannot fault at all.

Food was spot on untill I got 2 pieces off bone in my curry and it's put me off the rest. Paid more than what the food is worth in my opinion. Il just stick with my normal take away. I would give it 0 stars if I could

The Quality of food is getting so poor, I'm no longer ordering. Curries swimming in Greece. I ordered a Lamb Balit, it arrived cold like it had been made and set in container with 3 little pieces of what I'm hoping was Lamb. Everything swims in Greese.

Delivery time good, but food was sub-par. Poor curry and breads and starters dry.

Had my first Chicken Malayan, it was delish! Early - as usual, hot - as usual, friendly delivery driver - as usual! Still can’t fault Yorkshire Spice!

Pizza and kebab had chicken on with sour taste to it i complained they said they would refund my money waited till 12 midnight like they said no one brought my money discussed with there service al be on the phone today with a food inspectors horrible food

First time ordering, so after confusion when a phone number from bishop Auckland rand I cancelled and blocked 🚫, just remember if ordering off Uber 🤦🏼‍♀️. Anyway back to the meal absolutely beautiful, starter mixed was plentiful and we ordered a large curry which did both of us. We really enjoyed and definitely will order again.

Delivery did take a bit longer than stated but WOW it was was worth the wait. The Korma was perfect, great consistency a good amount of chicken and great tasting.

Food was good but was let down by the curry I ordered had leaked all over the bag so let the order down as everything else ordered was covered in curry.

Food lovely but just warm not hot,and poppadoms missing.

The food was excellent but could have been hotter, we needed to pop it in the microwave for a few minutes to get it piping hot.

After having 2 bad meals from here ...have just had a home visit off the owner apologising for the bad service which was most appreciated .he then went on to explain that he's been a way for 3 weeks due to having a heart attack

Took our order an hour plus before closing time then decided not to deliver our food and not tell us that they never even bothered making the food just took our money and closed the shop

Delievery driver was superb friendly and polite 5* Food was great too... 2nd time using ans woukd highly recommend.

Meal wasn't ready at collection time but only about 5 minutes wait. Issue was that one of the starters was missing I rang them up and they said I could just get another one free next time they wouldn't drop one off. Won't be using this place again it's a joke

We’ve used Moh’s for years but this place is just miles better for taste and food quality. Just Great food so we’ll be using this instead from now on.

Garlic Nan was very good love the starters, rice lamb in the curry was so soft melted in ya mouth but wot I don’t like in a curry is the RED sauce but will be ordering again
