Yorks Cafe - Bell Court in Stratford-on-Avon

A go-to brunch spot in Stratford upon Avon. We did go recently only to find that they were serving pizzas rather than the regular menu, but the kind staff told us to try the other branch a 5 minute walk away where we had the exact tasty dishes we were hoping for. Whichever branch you end up in, there's loads to enjoy on the menu.

Awesome brunch. Great coffee, scrambled eggs, sourdough toast and the Chicago fried honey chicken was the best.

The service was poor. Inattentive and not at all welcoming. The menus were tatty. I chose a 'pizza' which was a slice of bread with burnt topping. No salad or recognition it looked poor.

We came around 10.30am. Sat down,ordered food and drinks. We had to get up several times to ask for condiments and cutlery. When we asked staff about product and brand they never came back to us. Very poor quality of sausage and really sour beans. We asked for more hollandaise and been told at 10.30 am you run out??? We asked if hollandaise was home made and was told yes of course..if it was homemade why chef didn't make some more???you pay £12 pounds and cant have a little bit more sauce? Smash avocado with feta wasn't like smash avocado should be lol,worst I ever had..not even smashed. To pay for 1 poor quality sausage and little tiny tiny pot of sour beans,slice of old sourdough bread £9 pound its ridiculous! Unfortunately worst breakfast experience we ever had.

Coffee, beer, wine, cocktail bar. Brunch, snacks, pizza. Plenty veggie and some vegan options. Pizza was excellent and a bit different to standard options - try the one with lentils or the one with nuts! Staff cheerful and polite. Nice atmosphere. Would certainly eat there again when visiting Stratford.

Just what we like - a selection of original, quirky, tasty small plates with real flavours, and great ideas from the chef on unusual flavour combinations. For 2 we picked 5 small plates and the flat bread with great selection of dips - a perfect lunch! Yorks have kept their small cafe open in the High Street, but this restaurant in Bell Court has really allowed their menu to develop into something really special - Middle Eastern with a twist - really delicious.

Great atmosphere. Good welcome on arrival. Helpful staff. Good selection on menu and generous portions. Excellent breakfast.

Popped in for refreshments. Very friendly and welcoming. Coffee and tea was lovely and nicely served. No hesitation in recommending.

Nice atmosphere, tasty well presented food. Good portion size. Crazy beer, same you have to go to the bar each time to order and collect drinks. But very good
