Hiya, am not one to complain but came here a few months ago and the problem still has not been resolved even after many attempts at contacting the pub. Came in, sat at table for approx 45 mins and then my friend ordered food through the app in the bar - bearing in mind am very visible to the staff. After waiting for another 20 minutes, the manager on shift came over and told us we couldn’t order as me and my friend were barred - bearing in mind not told this prior (in previous visits, or in the near hour we were sat there). This felt very personal and unprofessional from management, especially because my friend had previously left this restaurant to work at a different M&B pub. Apparently the refund was processed, however we were skeptical at the time as the manager on shift didn’t seem to know what he was doing. However, didn’t think much of it. A few weeks later we rang up and got told by the same manager that the GM was only in certain days and only they could sort it. Upon arriving on those days, the GM wasn’t in and obviously we didn’t want to cause a scene after being told to not come back in; this felt intentional so we wouldn’t be able to receive a refund. It’s been very back and forth over the past few weeks with no proper solution by the management at the dog. Just very dissapointing that this is how previous staff are treated by management after leaving the pub amicably - do not recommend to future applicants or to customers on a whole.

Harriet the waitress was so helpful when coming over even asking us if we are okay always had a smile on her face such an amazing person thankyou for your service especially Harriet. The food was gorgeous. Thanks for your service guys it was amazing xx

Been to the harvester for lunch today, haven’t been for a while as food went down hill, thought we would try again as local, was really nice and the waiter was lovely her name was Toni (TJ) she was friendly and very bubbly.

Tonii was polite and quick with the service and very helpful 😁

Anna was our waitress nothing was too much trouble polite friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu when we wanted to swap things Helped when we had to ask for butter as there was none left Very accommodating with the disabled wheelchair user Anna spoke to him where as others staff spoke to the rest of the group as though he couldn't answer for himself, had to say ask him

Visited on a busy bank holiday, but the food was good and our server Kian was friendly and efficient.

Are server Tonii was very nice and very helpful. The food was very good and it was a calm peaceful environment at lunch time which made it a great venue for a family meet up. Will definitely come again another time

The food, service and atmosphere were stupendous. My server today was Immy, however i would also love to commend the rest of the staff who kept other tables clean and ready in an efficient time from when a customer left to a new customer arriving. The chefs also kept up the standards with the salad bar being kept fresh and topped up and with pleasant conversation between them and myself. Everyone was exceptional and the experience was excellent!

Walked in and noticed how clean and inviting it was , was greeted by a lady friendly and smiling. Salad bar was well stocked and clean . Food cooked to perfection and presentation spot on . Anna our server was lovely. Will certainly be back

Came here after a long few days working at the three counties, little treat night for the kids, really enjoyed the food and service special mention to Tonii who was great, very professional and polite also a mention to the young girl from the kitchen (Harriet) I believe who was so friendly and talkative we will be back Thank you

We had a really bad experience here . Ordered a steak combo and harvester combo my steak was dry and tough ,my chicken was pink and my daughter had the same on her chicken and ribs both pink ! Staff didnt seem bothered but offered us a pudding which we had both were awfull !! So we left them . Then to top things off we used the toilet and my 2yr old grandaughter ran out of the door and was nearly mown down by a staff member carrying a tray not looking where they were going. All in all staff were unbothered about everything and did actually say you dont have to come back !!

Came on the 7th of may at around 3pm. Food was genuinely the worst food I have had in a long time. Beef burger looked like it was cooked in the fryer.. rock solid and dry. Also the steak was overcooked.. flatbread was rock solid. If you can't get a beef burger right then you shouldn't be nowhere near a kitchen

Terrible. All food on the salad bar was dry, lettuce going brown. Main course of scampi was no better than what I would cook at home, small portion and overpriced.

Exellent food and service a bit busy as it was bank holiday weekend service provided tonii and very friendly and helpfull she was

Good menu with a varied selection, reasonably priced. My daughter requested no sauce on her burger, however it arrived with sauce. When she told waiter, he replaced it immediately, apologised and removed the cost from the bill without hesitation. Brilliant service. Ordered a Sundae each, one for me, another for my daughter. Very tasty but way too big for one person. In future I shall order one Sundae and two spoons.

We've been to this Harvester since its first opening and always enjoyed our meals here. Staff are always friendly and it seems like over the years it's getting better. However my only issue is the inconsistencies of scanning the reward on the app. Me, my husband and son have the Harvester app and when we order our meals all at once we were able to scan the reward without any issues sometimes (depending on who serves us) and then with other staff particularly the new staff they haven't got a clue how to do this and then just quickly assume it's down to the fact that the reward can only be scanned once per order. We read the terms and conditions and it does state that if multiple guests order full price adult meals, each guest can claim their stamp on a separate harvester app. And it does state on some of the discount code we get, the terms and conditions states that rewards can be scanned using the live code. For example before Easter me and my husband ordered the chicken Tuesday and we were both able to get our reward stamp. But we ordered the same thing a few days ago and we weren't able to do this. We could have ordered it separately if we had known it wouldn't go through. We've missed out on quite a number of reward stamps due to the lack of knowledge some of the staff has about this. We normally order our meals at the pub section, maybe all the bartender needs to be taught how to do this? We've visited many Harvesters all over the UK and we seem to only have this issue here? We would be most grateful if this issue can be resolved as it's very frustrating that we have to miss out on the rewards.

Went for a meal with a large group of 17. Seated easily and server quickly. The food was amazing, and everyone left very happy. Our Server Millie was fantastic and very friendly. Even helped us to take a group photo. Would recommend

Went with my wife and son kian was training alonside jess they where so helpful and polite very informative and catering especially towards my son who was unsure on what food to have couldnt recommend this place more great food and great staff.

I’ll start as we walked in. We were greeted by a very young lady, she was very nice however her voice struggled to make it passed her lips so we couldn’t really hear what she was saying. We were sat down, no issues, comfortable but a little cold in there. Ordered drinks then food as you’d expect and the staff were ok but very young and not very experienced. The problem lies with the food, while the salad bar was the standard harvester salad bar the main meal was awful! Ordered chicken skewers, one piri piri and one honey something or other. There was no flavour on either skewer and they were reheated, they were definitely not freshly grilled moments before being served. I’ve worked with food for a long time in various roles and these chicken skewers were pre cooked and heated later on the grill. That’s the reason they were drier than a Moroccans heel and tough as well. There was no flavour at all with either skewer. My partner had steak which was very mediocre and not really cooked to her order. The chips we were served were hugely undercooked and some of them hard like uncooked potato. I get that it’s Good Friday however they were not busy by any stretch and should have provided better food.

wanted to watch the champions league and bartender refused to change at least one of the TV’s so we could watch instead of crystal palace vs newcastle, and said i can’t change one when i’ve seen them change one TV before.

Nice venue, staff were lovely, great salad bar, but any cooked food was mostly dry. My daughters childrens burger was inedible and rock solid.

I'm not from nr the area, n it will be about a month since I visited, I was down there buying a car n was on a return trip back up the road to Cumbria, so was on a tight schedule.. my only real issue was we got starters fairly quick, but after 40 mins of finishing em, I had to get someone to acknowledge that we were ready for mains. In the end in thinking I could grab a quick bite, I was there for 2 hours. Meaning I arrived back to Cumbria, very late for work, but, on a plus, the food was nice. But that's about it. Other harvesters I've been too are generally pretty swift, this one tho, I'd have no need to go back to that particular site, nor would I go back after that debacle.
