They didn't give me a spoon or chopsticks until I asked for it. Even after the menu came out, they didn't give it to me, so I asked for it and was given a spoon with food on it. The person serving it looked at it and placed the part that wasn't asked for on top. And it was incredibly loud. So much so that I couldn't hear any of my companions' voices. Food too. I ordered soft tofu stew, but the tofu was not soft tofu. There are many quieter and more delicious Korean restaurants in London than this :)

Decent Korean food and very good value lunch menu. Kimchi jjigae had a good taste, was nothing exceptional but very good value for money compared to other options in the area.

I expected to get a tasty Bibimbab with broth, but it was without any broth, just the sauce. Dry, not very tasty, fatty. Quite cramped inside. I won't go here again, just not my place

This was our first time at a Korean restaurant and we really enjoyed the food, so probably will return or try others, however the service provided was a little odd. We were quickly seated but no explanation given that menus and orders were to be made through a QR code that wasn’t immediately clear on the dark tables. After five minutes a nearby waitress cleaning a table pointed it out. Later on, after the meal, we had asked about desserts to the same waitress as this wasn’t available through the QR code, she said yes but instead of returning with menus came back with the bill and a card machine. Ultimately we enjoyed our food and these oddities didn’t ruin it at all but keep in mind the service is average.

We came here because of the high rates, but it’s overrated. The food was average and is not authentic. The beef in both fried dish and bibimbap was so dry and not much taste. The service was not mainly because one of the ramen dish came so late that the rest of us almost finished our food. My friend just being starved and looked at us the whole time. The food was a big disappointment when finally been served, because he can cook it himself at home!

If you're new to Korean food, please try Yori restaurant.

The food was just okay so I probably wouldn't go back. There are MUCH better Korean restaurants in London, but I was hoping to find a new one and this one was just not it. It's nice ordering on your phone, but paying requires a server to come by (and they rarely do). We got the panjeon, beef bibimbap, and LA bulgogi. Drink prices were relatively outrageous for £14 for soju.

It tastes good, and the service at Nakki is great.

Food portions are really small, tasteless, and basic for what you pay. 3 tiny size dishes to share and no kimchi served. We paid just over £100 for food order for 2 persons and left disappointed and still hungry. Will not recommend to go here especially when there's plenty of better restaurants in the west-end.

Unfortunately I did not have the chance to eat there we waited at least thirty minutes, the servers were not professional no card at our disposal we had to ask to get it. Place which leaves something to be desired, very heavy atmosphere and in my opinion a lack of hygiene.

We left the restaurant, we were even going to be served, we had to wait 10 minutes to ask for a card even though there were two of us and no one took our order after 20 minutes. We left Dismal restaurant not very clean

Food was okay, not great - but not bad. Service was rushed, we arrived early and were asked to leave UNDER ONE HOUR later! Come on - ridiculous. "Discretionary" 10% Service charge gives another point deduction - really no need. All in all, very VERY expensive for the food received - see copy receipt. One to avoid IMO!

Came here for my friend’s birthday dinner, all the staff were so nice and helpful with my surprising my friend with a cake, I could not thank them more!! The food was a good portion for the price :)

Delicious food and so full of flavor. Spicy galbi Jim and Korean cheese ramyun were out of this world. Sumanash was amazing!

I had lunch menu. The fried chicken is so bad, feels like it was fried long before. The sauce doesn’t make it any better and doesn’t feel rich. Luckily, the staff replaced my order and I ordered the toppoki - which was ALSO disappointing. My friend also had his bolguggi and he was disappointed as well. I’ve no idea why this restaurant has so many reviews and such a high rate. Waste of money.

We reserved a table for two and arrived on time, having made it clear beforehand that we were coming specifically to enjoy BBQ. However, upon arrival, we were informed that BBQ was not an option because they “don’t reserve tables for BBQ.” Why allow table reservations if you’re going to restrict what your customers can order? Very disappointing and ridiculous customer service. We ended up enjoying BBQ elsewhere.

Rating - 7/10 Service - 7/10 Aesthetics - 5/10 Pricing - 6/10 Value For Money - 6/10 This Yori branch does not offer self cook KBBQ which is a shame as it takes away the customers experience. All the food is cooked inside the kitchen. The service can vary depending on the staff working, recommend to book ahead for large parties as they can refuse service if busy. If you do have a large party, expect long waiting times despite booking ahead, we waited 40 mins for our table with reservation. The food does feel quite overpriced if you’re not splitting the bill, but it’s standard central London.

I've been to several YORI branches several times, but this one was the worst. No matter where I went, the menu, taste, and service were above average, so I deliberately looked for it whenever I went to a Korean restaurant. I'm the type of person who just tolerates it most of the time, but I also watched the owner's story on YouTube and was impressed. I don't know if you'll see it, but I ask you to refer to it. First of all, it was around 5:30 when I visited, and considering that it was a busy time in a busy area, I completely understand the frantic response of the staff. I visited without a reservation, but they stopped me in front of the door saying they would check, and other than the Asian (not Korean) female staff, the staff had a very grumpy attitude, so it seemed like they were delaying guidance, and then they left me alone. I was skeptical because the service was good at other branches, but I thought they were busy so I skipped over it. However, they did not provide tab water, nor did they provide any side dishes that came with the menu. The lunch menu came with side dishes (at another branch), but I thought it wasn't for dinner, so I looked up a picture of what I ate before, and it came with it (is it only served here...?) And the rice was lukewarm, and compared to other branches, they were very sparing with the food. It was the same (Bob Yang). As I was leaving, they blocked the door and didn't even say goodbye lol. I guess I was just full because I live in an area where business is good. I liked this restaurant, so I looked for it in other areas, but I guess the overall service wasn't the same. (It was so ridiculous that I took a picture while eating) And the stew was salty and the seafood inside was dry.

Complaint Regarding Order on 20th September 2024. This evening, we placed an order from your restaurant, and for context, we are Koreans from Seoul. We ordered Beef Bibimbap, Doenjang Jjigae, Yukgaejang, Kalbitang, and Haemul Pajeon. Unfortunately, the overall taste was quite disappointing, even though we were very hungry. The worst dish by far was the Haemul Pajeon—it was shockingly bad. It had no flavour whatsoever, with absolutely ‘zero’ salt, and the thickness was about 2cm, which is something you would never come across in Korea. Ever. Even with soy sauce, it was tasteless. There was almost no spring onion (파) or seafood (해물); it was just a thick floury pancake. I’ve heard that many Korean restaurants have recently been opened by Chinese owners, and I suspect this one may be among them. No Korean would consider this food authentic. Full stop.

We booked here to have Korean BBQ, but actually they don't offer this and everything is cooked in the kitchen despite what it says above and on their website, no apology for mis-advertising their services. We still stayed to eat and this was the outcome: 1. Server spilled our sauce over the table, didn't replace 2. Server knocked my beer over spilling half of it, didn't replace or remove from the bill 3. Everything tasted dry and bland 4. The pork belly (on the BBQ section of the menu) is not bbq'd, the best way to describe it would be that it was extremely thin with no flavouring or seasoning, and looked/tasted like it was boiled in water 5. All the food came out within minutes of ordering so clearly the reason for it being dry is that everything is prepared ahead of time and just sitting out Worst restaurant I've been to in London, and that's saying something considering I made the mistake of going to one of the Angus Steak Houses.

Usually me and my friends go to, but left disappointed today. Met with Suzie (manager) saying ‘oh you’re here’ as if late to an interview when I arrived. Cold and unwelcoming when I asked her to change tables as my one was behind the waiters station and I kept getting barged, refused twice had to be persistent. Felt talked down to by her, not welcome. Customer not happy with a table, simply give a new one where there's 4-5!! free ones near us. Being barged should not be normal in any restaurant. Noticeably, witnessed all the POC were given dud tables by her including ourselves. It was not that busy our slot (slot after was - but not ours) and there were free tables. Someone just sat at another table and wasn’t challenged, guess I should have done that instead of politely asking. If tables are allocated, then why was everyone who came seated in the order they arrived in a generally better seating section except us and other POC. Bias at play here, clearly. Even if coincidence, simple table change was made a bigger deal than should have been… The Korean/East Asian and Indian/South Asian workers are so kind and hospitable comparatively. Hopefully kind, positive, helpful management next time. I frequent Covent Garden for eats and for the prices and Covent location, you’d generally expect the more polished and professional service as I have recieved at almost every other surrounding area restaurant. Food is generally good, bibimbap could be more seasoned, rabokki could have more rice cake. Service was much better previously, last time we weren’t rushed, today we were which felt unpleasant overall.

We had an amazing dining experience at Yori’s Covent Garden branch. We were served by Sumanth and Freya, who were both incredibly kind and attentive. At one point, we accidentally ordered the wrong dish and only realized it when the food arrived. They were so understanding and quickly took our new order without any fuss, and they didn’t even include the incorrect item on our bill. Their exceptional service, combined with the delicious food, made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Prabhakar is an excellent server. Food is a bit bland compared to the other branches of yori. The place is also a little bit dirty.

Had my first try of Korean food from here. The food was nice - had ramen, kimchi and some squid. The bbq squid was a little too chewy though Would recommend overall

Food was absolutely amazing, perfect for what we wanted. Really tasty and good portion sizes. We were seated upstairs, so took a little while for our order to be taken but we needed that long to decide anyway. Drink ok, not a huge choice but the cocktails are nice. One too many tables upstairs, hard to manoeuvre.

Soy garlic fried chicken was so good. Pork bulgogi bibimbap was just the right amount of spicy and made me so full. Sumanth was a very attentive and quick footed host. Thank you!

If you expect Authentic Korean BBQ here you will be fooled! All the grilled meats and seafood are fried in a pan with ton of oil.Food is mass produced, there’s no connection with Korean food at all.

We came here after reading the positive reviews . They state that the bbq food is cooked in the kitchen . When our king prawns arrived which were langoustine and not king prawns they were dripping in oil . The waitress was great and removed the items from our bill. However we asked how was the bbq cooked and its pan fried - no bbq in site .

We went to yori covent garden yesterday. The staff was friendly and nice. I order beef BBQ it's so delicious. Also Restaurant was a chill atmosphere with songs. I will recommend.

I and my partner visit this Yori whenever we have the chance, the staff are wonderful and the food just melts in your mouth! There's so many dishes to try and explore. If you love korean food this is definitely the place to be 💜

Enjoyed the food. Squid bokkeum was very tasty. The service is awesome. Bhushan and Renola were of great help.

Kimchi stew comes with rice. For LA Galbi, you need to add rice separately. The taste is just like what you get at a rest area.. There are Korean staff and it is difficult to use it without a reservation. There are a lot of foreigners and there are fewer Koreans than you might think.

The female hall staff was friendly, but the Indian men were unfriendly throughout. I tried to change the payment method, but they were annoying and just said no. The food is too sweet and full of sugar. Pajeon contains only a small amount of green onions and is full of flour. I think foreigners’ image of Korean food will worsen.

I'm trying to change the payment method to cash, but isn't it possible to cancel the card I just made in the UK? The female employee wants to do it, but the man says no without even trying the action.

I am giving the service and atmosphere this rating because once we arrived there even if it was one hour before closing they were already closing the top part of the restaurant and all the time we were under pressure to finish and to leave from there asap, because the people who are working there wanted to leave earlier. The guy who seemed to be the manager, was extremely rude. I asked some water and he looked at me in a rude way, trying to say that we must leave. The waiter had no idea on how to be professional.The place overall was a total disappointment, unfortunately. The appetisers were very good while the sea food rice was a full of oil dish...

We went for Yori Covent garden on a busy Sunday and called before to reserve.Prabhakar was super friendly on the phone and in person, I was just looking for a napkin around the table, didn't even have to say anything he spotted it and gave me some. The sort of service that does not disrupt or disturb, but is silent, efficient and adds to feeling like you are treating yourself- thank you!!!

Well the service is really quick and good but with side dish they need to improvise their side dishes as I have tired Yori in Ealing and Tottenham cort their side dish are very good.

Dreadful food, cold bibimbab bowl, the soft runny yoke in chige soup was hard boiled. Food was overly sweet and definitely not authentic. It was nice a couple of years ago but completely downhill now

Visited here before theatre, booked a table and luckily we did as they are extremely busy. The food was off good quality and tasted very fresh. I ordered a seafood stew which unfortunately didn’t have any seafood, however as I was in a rush I didn’t make a fuss and just ate the vegetables and tofu. My daughter ordered a jap chae and we shared some Korean fried chicken. The food prices were reasonable but drinks are very expensive. £3.90 for a Jasmine tea, I mean after all it is leaves in hot water. My daughter’s strawberry cocktail was £7, this was served in a small glass and not worth the money. No service as you order online, and no one came to clear our plates and yet they still charge for service.

I met a friend for dinner and fancied Korean, and reading the reviews, we decided on Yori. The food was ok, except for the chicken platter, as the garlic mayo chicken as it tasted a bit strange. We also had to wait ages for some water and had to ask 3 times before they remembered.

Very rich. I arrived without a reservation but I hardly had to wait at all. Very fast and efficient, the kimchi was pretty good and so was the kimchee pork stew dish

What a let down — disappointing in every sense. The food was dripping in oil, the customer experience was nonexistent, the seats were hard and uncomfortable, the tables were too close together, the place was so noisy you needed to shout in conversation, and the ambiance was just poor. I’m baffled as to how this restaurant has such high google ratings?! There are so many great Korean restaurants in London, this is not one of them.
