Soy garlic fried chicken was so good. Pork bulgogi bibimbap was just the right amount of spicy and made me so full. Sumanth was a very attentive and quick footed host. Thank you!

We went to yori covent garden yesterday. The staff was friendly and nice. I order beef BBQ it's so delicious. Also Restaurant was a chill atmosphere with songs. I will recommend.

We came here after reading the positive reviews . They state that the bbq food is cooked in the kitchen . When our king prawns arrived which were langoustine and not king prawns they were dripping in oil . The waitress was great and removed the items from our bill. However we asked how was the bbq cooked and its pan fried - no bbq in site .

If you expect Authentic Korean BBQ here you will be fooled! All the grilled meats and seafood are fried in a pan with ton of oil.Food is mass produced, there’s no connection with Korean food at all.

I and my partner visit this Yori whenever we have the chance, the staff are wonderful and the food just melts in your mouth! There's so many dishes to try and explore. If you love korean food this is definitely the place to be 💜

Enjoyed the food. Squid bokkeum was very tasty. The service is awesome. Bhushan and Renola were of great help.

Kimchi stew comes with rice. For LA Galbi, you need to add rice separately. The taste is just like what you get at a rest area.. There are Korean staff and it is difficult to use it without a reservation. There are a lot of foreigners and there are fewer Koreans than you might think.

The female hall staff was friendly, but the Indian men were unfriendly throughout. I tried to change the payment method, but they were annoying and just said no. The food is too sweet and full of sugar. Pajeon contains only a small amount of green onions and is full of flour. I think foreigners’ image of Korean food will worsen.

I'm trying to change the payment method to cash, but isn't it possible to cancel the card I just made in the UK? The female employee wants to do it, but the man says no without even trying the action.

Food was okay, the best part about the experience was the service. Dhaval was amazing, he was quick, friendly and polite. I left the restaurant feeling very happy purely because of him. Thank you Dhaval.

I am giving the service and atmosphere this rating because once we arrived there even if it was one hour before closing they were already closing the top part of the restaurant and all the time we were under pressure to finish and to leave from there asap, because the people who are working there wanted to leave earlier. The guy who seemed to be the manager, was extremely rude. I asked some water and he looked at me in a rude way, trying to say that we must leave. The waiter had no idea on how to be professional.The place overall was a total disappointment, unfortunately. The appetisers were very good while the sea food rice was a full of oil dish...

We went for Yori Covent garden on a busy Sunday and called before to reserve.Prabhakar was super friendly on the phone and in person, I was just looking for a napkin around the table, didn't even have to say anything he spotted it and gave me some. The sort of service that does not disrupt or disturb, but is silent, efficient and adds to feeling like you are treating yourself- thank you!!!

Well the service is really quick and good but with side dish they need to improvise their side dishes as I have tired Yori in Ealing and Tottenham cort their side dish are very good.

Visited here before theatre, booked a table and luckily we did as they are extremely busy. The food was off good quality and tasted very fresh. I ordered a seafood stew which unfortunately didn’t have any seafood, however as I was in a rush I didn’t make a fuss and just ate the vegetables and tofu. My daughter ordered a jap chae and we shared some Korean fried chicken. The food prices were reasonable but drinks are very expensive. £3.90 for a Jasmine tea, I mean after all it is leaves in hot water. My daughter’s strawberry cocktail was £7, this was served in a small glass and not worth the money. No service as you order online, and no one came to clear our plates and yet they still charge for service.

Dreadful food, cold bibimbab bowl, the soft runny yoke in chige soup was hard boiled. Food was overly sweet and definitely not authentic. It was nice a couple of years ago but completely downhill now

I met a friend for dinner and fancied Korean, and reading the reviews, we decided on Yori. The food was ok, except for the chicken platter, as the garlic mayo chicken as it tasted a bit strange. We also had to wait ages for some water and had to ask 3 times before they remembered.

First visit to Yori for a quick post-work bite to eat. What a choice!! I will have to go to my local Yori and ensure I am hungry to enjoy all of the plates

Very rich. I arrived without a reservation but I hardly had to wait at all. Very fast and efficient, the kimchi was pretty good and so was the kimchee pork stew dish

What a let down — disappointing in every sense. The food was dripping in oil, the customer experience was nonexistent, the seats were hard and uncomfortable, the tables were too close together, the place was so noisy you needed to shout in conversation, and the ambiance was just poor. I’m baffled as to how this restaurant has such high google ratings?! There are so many great Korean restaurants in London, this is not one of them.

Fantastic food. Had the summer special Makguksu, which was delicious. My waiter Prabhakar was fantastic. I didn’t notice the special menu and he was able to change my order to accommodate. I’ll be back!

Seriously, you have far better ways to spend the next two hours of your life. The food is fine when you can actually get some to your table, but customer service is a totally alien concept here.

I hate to give any restaurant a bad review, but this place needs a wake up call. We ordered a ddukbegi bulgogi and it had maybe 2 tiny slices of beef. Side dishes were also not fresh, and the servers were so busy cleaning up to close the restaurant (it was 1.5 hours before closing) than actually serving the guests.. I overheard some server asking for a good review to other guests, but you get a good review when you actually have good food. Let alone some service.

Food was unreal! I had the crispy chicken and rice and it left me wanting more. Staff was also very friendly. I came across this place by chance on a busy Friday and I loved if!

1. There is no Korean spicy cabbage in tofu soups at all. 2.Remember to ask the waiter for sauce, otherwise they won't give it to you. 3. I read in the reviews that there were side dishes provided, we didn't have any. 4. The waiter didn't serve us at all and asked all other tables if their food was good but ignored us. We cannot understand why, maybe they have their reasons.

It is totally not Korea food, no any kimchi inside the tofu soup. You must ask for the sauce, otherwise you won’t get any dip.

We booked this restaurant based on the YORI group Reviews.We looked at a lot of Korean style eateries.We wanted specifically bbq.So when we found that we did not have a self service style bbq at the table we were very disappointed.I know Piccadilly YORI gives this option.The staff were attentive and friendly;but sadly the food options let it down.My son has had this style of food in Rotterdam on many occasions and he didn’t enjoy it.The was no dining experience,sadly. The drinks menu had lots of unavailable alcoholic beverages.My husband had a Cass beer which was expensive and not very nice.I didn’t bother as the wine selection was poor.

These following menus are the delicious food I tried at YORI Covent Garden branch, all of them were very satisfactory and I loved it. The Cheese Tteokbokki was an exceptional starter, both in portion size and taste. The perfect balance of spicy and sweet flavours made this dish a standout. The melted cheese added a visually appealing touch, enhancing the overall dining experience. The price was very reasonable, making it an deal dish to begin the meal. The Spicy Galbi Jjim was a delightful main dish, featuring a generous portion of tender meat. Despite the price, the quality of the dish was evident, with the galbi's rich flavours complementing the white rice perfectly. Although the sauce could have been better integrated with the meat, the overall flavour was generally satisfying. This large portion with its delectable taste is a highlight of the menu. The Bibim Makguksu was a refreshing addition to the meal, offering a large portion with a wonderful spicy paste that mixed beautifully with the noodles. The spicy and sour taste made it an excellent complement to the Spicy Galbi Jjim and other dishes, balancing the meal perfectly. While the presentation could be improved by serving the ice in smaller chunks and slicing the seaweed more finely, the overall dish was still enjoyable and added a unique flavour profile to the dining experience.

It was one of my friends birthday, and we brought some cakes after calling beforehand to ask. They were super accommodating and helpful. Attentive service always with smile. And food is always good there!

Don't trust this place. Even if you book in advance they may end up sending you away as their booking system is faulty and they didnt have any notice. Happened to us and another 2 families waiting before us!

Having been met by a member of staff who invaded personal space, we were not told about the menus being online. The atmosphere was unpleasantly loud with dusty surfaces and dirty mirrors. The online ordering system seemed to be causing lots of problems for others, we saw several dishes being returned to the kitchen with staff not knowing where they were needed. We had a dish with missing sauces. It took the staff a while to figure out what our table number was. All drinks were served lukewarm and we had to chase our tap water. Although the food was excellent we have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant due to the abrupt welcome, chaotic service and badly managed queues as we left. The architecture of the building means lots of stairs and segregated dining areas which seems poorly maintained and in desperate need of a good clean. The toilet was particularly unpleasant.

My first experience with Korean food - went into with zero expectations. The food was varied in terms of preparation; fried, baked, or steamed. The plates are offered as individual sizes or shareable - we did opt out for some of the shareable dishes which were good services sizes for a party of 3. The seafood pancake is just what it sounds like, the dumplings what you would expect, the fried rice is just that, the soy chicken was ... well, chicken. The food was delicious and portions were plenty, sadly, I dont know if i walked away thinking 'oh, that's what Korean cuisine is like.' I'm not too sure if our choices were more generic but i wish i would have said 'ahh, yes, Korean!' The service was amazing, we were able to get a table quickly, we were well attended to, food came out quickly, empty plates and bottles were cleared off, and our questions were answered. The atmosphere and ambiance was also top notch. It's an older building with narrow stairs so you feel you're in a place that has history. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone want to try Korean as it does seem authentic - however, ask for authentic dishes and not those that sound familiar.

Busy time. We waited for about 7 min and our table was ready. We sat at the ground floor section. Looks like restaurant sectioned into 4 separate zones. Food was tasty and staff were attentive and polite. Had the bibimbap, japchae and bulgogi beef. Very minor points, I thought the bibimbap was a little tame but added the chilli, better. The £4 coke in the jam jar, central London prices I guess. The Benchans, that needs work and was flagged by other reviews. Overall, a near perfect score of 4.7. The Yori in Picadelly, they have the BBQ, which was very good.

Disappointing experience after looking forward to this for a long time. Food was just ok, Korean fried chicken platter was really dry and chewy. Service was poor. Staff not attentive, forgot to bring drinks and cutlery had hair on it, had to ask for it to be replaced. Didn't realise until after we'd paid that gratuity was added automatically which, for the service, was not warranted. Mentioned when booking it was for a birthday treat but no effort made to acknowledge this or make a special effort. Really disappointing.

Great environment, but the spicy chicken is quite dry and not flavourful (theres not enough salt & not spicy at all). Topokki was nice, might be a little thick to some. Not authentic. This place is for tourists and westerners. Note: This branch does not have a BBQ grill, the chefs will do it for you.

We booked for dinner for Saturday evening. Upon arrival we waited outside as per their sign, it was quite a while until someone came to see us, didn't even checked our reservation, just asked if we have one... We been seated just by the door on the left hand side as you enter Once seated no one came to talk to us, we waited couple of minutes and than we realised we have to scan the QR code from table to access menu and order... Quite unprofessional and poor behaviour that no one came to see us once been seated and explain that menu is digital and ask us if we've been there before or not... Etc... The fried chicken, no difference of KFC... The rybeye beef no quality, a bit over cooked, not worth the money We chose Yori ( Covent Garden ) as quite god reviews someone even said " the best food ever" probably this person never been to a real and authentic Korean or Asian restaurant... For £154 without deserts for 3 we could have eaten and enjoyed better somewhere else... There was a charge of £13 gratuity forced into our bill, not sure why we had to pay it? No explanation, there was really no attention paid to the table... Apart of coming and bringing the food no other interaction We asked for a second glass for beer, and the waiter forgot, we had to remind him again... We asked for another shot glass for Soju again we need to ask again... Really poor table service Toilet dirty and smelly... And really small! Medium to poor food quality, far from authentic Korean, poor service from staff, not sure how they won restaurant of the year for 2023... I can't recommend, and we won't be back, plenty of other places with much better food quality and professional staff...
