Unfortunately I received old and smelly tuna AGAIN. I ordered through their Yokoso Sushi app and called them up to let them know this happened a week ago. Even though I rang them they STILL send smelly dried tuna pieces. The other fish is okay but I can't eat raw fish that already smells because of the danger of FOOD POISINING. Fish for sushi needs to be absolute fresh and in great condition, thats the only way to eat it raw. Won't be ordering again!

I’ve ordered sushi a few times, in the beginning was good but last week the raw fish was slimy, smelly and had a dull colour. I’ll definitely not buy again. Really disappointed!!!!

The rice was hard, the tuna sushi was tasteless and fat, after asking not to have fat tuna. I feel seek after eating it. Yesterday it was completely different rice and tuna sushi, today was horrible.

Horrible the sushi was the worst its ever been, and this is my normal go to spot, but the rice was wayyy overcooked and mushy and tasted off, Farr too much mayo, very very disappointing, but the baby squid was ok.

The miso soup was lovely. The tuna in my Uramaki was an awful colour, tasteless, warm and chewy. The salmon in the handroll was tasteless and chewy. I spat it out. The noodles were greasy and slimy. I usually order from Ooki and they were closed so gave it a try. Never again. Oh and the salmon tataki was so covered in lumps of ginger so I didn't touch it. I will be calling for a refund!

I ordered the spicy mango because it sounded interesting but it lacked a contrast in texture 🤷🏽‍♀️ it was a bit underwhelming. The salmon sushi was standard, nothing special. I went in and ordered a take away but I have to say I waited longer than I wanted to ! I loved the seasoning of the prawn tempura but unfortunately after one bite the prawn and breading become deprecated ! The spicy mayo worked well with the sushi !

I called right away to ask for a refund and I was lied to many times saying the owner will get in touch and refund me. He has now it’s been over a month, and they still don’t bother. Will never order from here again.

Disgusting. Inedible - didn't eat any of it. Straight in the bin. Soggy and wet spring rolls, noodles plain with soggy wet tofu, with some sort of wet batter falling off and absolutely no flavour. Some onion sprinkled in that's about it Rice dish drowning in a disgusting sauce with horrible chewy chicken Honestly one of the worst meals I've ever seen On top of all this, super late to arrive and restaurant doesn't answer the phone at all. Never again.

The soup was awful not fresh prawn dumplings had tiny mushed up prawn the soup was over cooked and mushy not happy at all and the spicy seafood was cheap seafood in there the prawn was not clean!! Never ordering from here again

I would love to give a nice review to a local restaurant but this was just way below any expectations. "Japanese cheesecake" was store bought cheap cheesecake that arrived so frozen solid that I broke my spoon trying to eat it. The spicy beef ramen soup was spicy more to an Indian standard rather than "authentic Japanese" and way too oily to be enjoyable. Can't say anything about service as I ordered via uber eats but at least it arrived quickly.

Ordered two Japanese cheesecakes for dessert, and got 2 frozen slices of new york cheesecake. Misleading as I only ordered to try Japanese cheesecake not a frozen New York cheesecake slice.

The rice was too hard for the first time, normally is soft as I like soft rice. The misou soup was very good.

I have previously ordered from this takeaway, but its always hit or miss! But what they sent this time was the worst. The homemade chicken karaage and spicy calamari both were chewy, and tasteless, literally everything went in the bin, so disappointed, what a waste of money.

I wish I can give Yokoso more stars on food as they used to be good but now it has been very inconsistent. I ordered a Chicken Katsu Curry and they came in on the burnt side and it’s quite bitter. The curry sauce is so watered down also. I wish the quality is kept consistent.

I waited 2 hours for my food, I called the restaurant and the response was poor, he said that if I’m not happy, I should just cancel the order after I have waited for 2 hours. The soup was cold, would not recommend with that sort of attitude.

An example of people who don't know what Japanese food is attempting to do it and failing. This was really unpleasant. The Katsu sauce was watery and bland, with a weird taste. The octopus balls were mushy batter with a hint of octopus. The sauces with them were horrible and nothing like you'd expect. The ramen wasn't at all how it's supposed to be, a weird vegetable stock with none of the flavours you'd expect. The edamame were wet and floppy. Such a strange experience, not proper Japanese cuisine.

Local sushi place that always delivers on quality and taste. We stick to the sushi plus the Katsu. The sushi is great value and very tasty. Gotta say it’s never let us down. Once in a while the presentation isn’t quite on point but the flavours always are. My only squibble. Chop the ginger otherwise you’re making me do the work. Love this place!

It’s not authentic, unfortunately. A shame as it’s advertised as “Traditional Japanese Tempura” on UberEats. The vegetable tempura (looks like Kakiage, a fritter) was burnt and the prawn tempura batter was too thick, tasteless and not crunchy. Maybe cooked from frozen? Also they don’t specify which broth the ramen uses, it would make it seem more authentic if they did. There are also things like bell pepper and broccoli in the ramen 🚩Its fusion, not a very good fusion either.

Fresh food, no oily excess. Plenty of soy, wasabi, ginger and curry sauce/ salad dressing for dishes. Chopsticks n napkins. Was a Big Order and well made & packaged, would order from them again

This place does the best sushi. The dragon roll and the mango spicy roll is delicious.

The ramen soup was really bad. The broth tasted very artificial and noodles were all extremely soggy. My little one left it without eating. Prawn katsu was the only nice dish we enjoyed. Sushi was made with cheap ingredients. We ordered grilled chicken katsu and it was more like a chicken stir-fry. We are huge Japanese food fans who eat out often. We were disappointed with the quality of food! Sorry not ordering from here again.

30mins late after changing time twice, got no katsu sauce when I ordered katsu. Called them to explain, the man decided to tell me that's how it comes (makes no sense) and that was that.

The meal arrived in good time, earlier than estimated. The soup was tasty & the sashimi was pleasant. The soup came in a cardboard cup which demonstrated an effort to minimise plastic waste, but I was given plastic cutlery which was unecessary given that I was at home & could use my own cutlery.

After a hard day DIYing, decided to treat ourselves to a Japanese. After checking the reviews we opted for Yokoso Sushi and placed an order. Was only 5 mins late, and delivery driver was very apologetic, but the food certainly made up for it. Warming miso soup, salty edamame, thick juicy pieces of salmon and tuna sashimi- other half mentioned they didn’t taste very fishy- till I pointed out that “fishy” meant not fresh- so big thumbs up for the sashimi. Very tasty seaweed salad and lovely King Prawn Yakisoba and Salmon Teriyaka for mains- deffo will order from here again.

Tempura prawns were not good. Thick, stodgy batter, not what you expect from tempura. Part of the order was missing. The teriyaki salmon rice bowl didn't taste of teriyaki very much. Unimpressed.

I apparently rated these guys 5 stars in the past and just forgot about them. Saw I rated them 5 stars today as I was scrolling and decided to try them again. This is honestly the best take-away ramen I've ever had, the Spicy Beef Ramen was absolutely delicious. And I've never tried it before but the Spicy Chicken Karaage was so gorgeous, definitely recommend!

Got my order wrong so I have decided to call the restaurant. The first person hung up after I told them about me receiving a wrong order. I called the second time and this time I got a different person who then told me, “That’s impossible because I got all the order here” as if I’m lying about my issue. They normally are alright because I have ordered a lot from them in the past. Just upset with the treatment I got over the phone. I’ll have to think twice before ordering from them again.

I've ordered through their website before. they are quite slow to deliver anyway. This time My food came an hour and 15 min late and when I called they said they'd give the discount next time I order. I said how will you know and they said oh you're on our system because you order regularly. 2 weeks later I've come in to claim this. and just generally order and the guy wearing black and glasses was rude arrogant and argumentative. very condescending tone esp towards women. I've found the men in there to be quite disrespectful. He said but wasn't me and claimed my take away prawn gyozas are meant to be cold. I said it's fine I don't need the discount but he kept dragging out the conversation and saying but how will they know when I ordered I showed him my order from two weeks ago and was done with discount chat but the guy continued and I just walked out and didn't even order. I only order because its the closest sushi place. but hate the arrogant mysoginistic customer service. Go to sushi handroll much nicer better quality customer service and food.

Other curry sauce was missing from the x 2 chicken katsu curries. The restaurant was called when delivered and I was informed a new x 2 chicken katsu's would be delivered over an hr later x 2 sauces only arrived to go with the now very cold chicken and rice. Not good enough!

Ordered some sushi, yakisoba, miso soup and spring rolls on 17/02/22. Not up to usual standard. Yakisoba noodles didn't look or taste great, plus barely any tofu in the tofu and vegetable yakisoba! Not at all impressed.

I’m soooo impressed I loved the prawn mango tempura rolls as well as the mango tempura dragon rolls, my sister loved it too and the vegetable sushi rolls, tasted fresh. Was clean presented, delivery was on time and the the taste was just great. I’m impressed I never normally order sushi from takeaway places, but wanted to give it a try due to the high hygiene rating. This is worth it, I will be ordering again, maybe even today. Well done ! Keep up the good work. Very satisfied customer!

The tempura in all 3 of the dragon roll fillings were really chewy to the point of inedible unfortunately. A disappointing takeaway this time as we frequently order from here and its usually very tasty!

Food was really nice but i'm absolutely gutted that the driver didn't read my note & even the message i left in my actual address line so they wouldn't miss it - i couldn't have made it any clearer not to ring my doorbell and just to call me. If someone from the restaurant is reading this, please tell your driver to read the notes. Even on my receipt it's written twice in big capital letters at the top and the bottom, i made it so hard to miss.

Only had the chicken Raman soup but was very tasty and probably the best I've had
