Food was disgusting. Couldnt eat it wings had a stale taste. Singapore fried rice and noodles were fullbof curry not much meat either. Only bought from them as i wanted wontons. Not tasty at all. Chicken balls looked impressive but was a big ball of batter and a tiny chicken piece. Threw it all away and bought chips. Wasted £41

I had King Prawn Curry served with pineapple / rice. It wasn’t too spicy but had a kick, Prawns were of good size and very crisp, rice was cooked to perfection and the pineapple added a sweet treat to this amazing dish. Had to save the pancake roll for a later snack, but this was a little greasy probably due to being deep fried, but still crispy and delicious! Will order from here again and defo recommend!! 😊

The food was early it was hot but I had found a piece of wire metal like from a scouring pad in my noodles unfortunately this is the second time this has happened , once finding this I only ate a few chicken balls was totally put off don’t think I will be using ruby Chinese again

The food tasted burnt, but was not actually burnt, meaning either the oil has had burnt things in it or the pans are burnt. There was no seasoning on the squid or prawns but there was a huge amount of this rather nasty batter that tasted like rice cakes and had a chewy texture which was really unpleasant. Everything was also very wet with oil or just liquid in general so that wasn't nice either. Considering this was a little pricier than other chineses in the area I was expecting something exceptional but this may very well be the worst chinese I have had. Maybe they were having a bad day but I don't think I could ever eat here again.

I haven’t received my food!!! I want my refund this place is a joke they take 2 hours, and they guys just called me and asked me if I still want the food after 2 hours! And they asked me where I am! How comes? He has the address and everything! I want my money back! And I’m hungry because I paid for something that haven’t been delivered

Over an hour and a half to recieve food, then it was missing items Had to call restaurant to chase food delievery and then chase missing items staff arent as friendly as expected food was ok bit dry and dont offer free prawn crackers when spending over certain amount, shouldnt be charging delievery fees when takes so long to arrive

Ruby 'Tuesdays' as its known in this house, our go-to when we don't fancy the local walk to takeout (closed on Tuesdays). the Szechuan King Prawns have a great kick!

All good. But I scalded my mouth on the curry sauce. Like it had just been boiled in a kettle, or something. No warning about how hot it was. Rest of the food was ready to eat. Not the curry sauce.

Ordered at 10pm, Ruby does not shut until 10.30pm, would not deliver until next day at 17.45. Phoned to cancel order but they did not and hung up on the phone whilst I was talking to them.

Always order Chinese food here. Brilliant, hot and tasty food.

No complaints, food was lovely. Delivery took quite a while but I guess it was a busy evening.

Usually love it. But tonight most of the mixed starter & chicken balls were overcooked. Soup, plain cho mein, Pancake roll all good. Curry sauce lumpy. Over 1 1/2hrs too.

All delicious as always apart from the chicken balls this time which were very overcooked which is unusual for your standard.

The food came on time but it definitely wasn't the greatest food I've had, tasted like frozen Iceland meals.

In general my order was of the very highest quality with one exception the chicken curry I ordered, when I tool a bite out the chicken it was still pink and not cooked all the way through

Everything was so so dry. Don't order any Salt and Pepper dishes. You'll be disappointed. Respect to them for delivering late at night, but the food was shocking. We ordered salt and pepper chicken and squid, as well as chicken balls. Everything tasted like it had been left out for an eternity. Delivery driver was also borderline rude. Disappointing service for the money that was spent.

I was really hungry .. An just expected a little better.. duck was more chewy… chicken meat seemed low quality an questionable… the sauces. Presentation an service were great.

The rice was dry. I asked for chilli oil which was not there and the rice was still not spicy. Could have done better. There were bits of the rice that were burnt

All correct. Don’t mind prices going up if the quality stays the same. All delicious apart from the £7 squid that was not nice at all dry yet greasy & the chicken balls very dark and definitely not crispy.

There was a small problem, which they fixed quickly and efficiently. Food was delicious. Thank you.

My second time ordering, I gave it another chance but most of the food was cold the Cantonese chicken was chewy like it had just been re warmed, the duck was dry like it was a few days old and the chow mein was cold the only warm thing I had was the rice, chicken balls and curry chicken, I had to re heat most of the food and couldn't even eat the duck the wraps were very had also not a good second chance...will definitely be my last.

Food quality not great. Sweet and sour mixed balls batter really thick and doughy. Siu Mai (dim sum) was not good quality tasting. Satay chicken was ok but very light on sauce.

First time ordering from here, it didn't dissappoint, other than I ordered chicken and pineapple and got smoked chicken, I like smoked chicken but wanted to try something new..the dough around the chicken balls was a bit thick..but it all got eaten. Delivery was dead on time too Thank-you!

Food arrived after 2h30m, not sure how, the restaurant is only round the corner from me The chicken was slimy. The ribs weren't actually ribs, they were tiny sliced up balls of meat and gristle, the portion of chicken curry was practically a kids meal. And on top of that, they gave me the wrong drink. I'd rather burn £20 than spend it here again

The chicken satay was in such little sauce it was laughable, the sauce was tasteless and gloopy. The chicken im not convinced was properly cooked so went in the bin. It was slightly gooey and pink inside. The chowmein had a very weird taste to it and very little actual 'seasoning'. The noodles looked almost grey in colour and the chicken in them was really dry and chewy. Wouldn't order again even if it was free.

Sorry but very bland food rice no flavour prawn toast over fried and tasted very oily chicken in chicken and veg like rubber

The chicken was very hard, dry and strong. It tasted stale. The rice was very strong, I’ve never had such fried rice like that before. My son eat half the bowl and throws the rest. Mine I took a spoon and couldn’t eat the rest, it’s standing on my kitchen table. If they can refund my money please.

The amount of food is good. Theyre not making any money by reducing the quantity. But as per the quality and taste they lack perfection. Soup was bland and salty. In honey chicken the amount of honey is a lot more than expected and it reduced the other flavours. In short I got a sweet chicken.

Firstly the food was good with quality ingredients but the order arrived early, was missing an item and they weren’t helpful when I called. If you get good service it’s worth it but that’s the gamble I won’t be taking again.

I thought the food was greasy, but taste was ok satay sauce was funny colour didn’t have much taste, and thin, mixed Starters was over cooked the king prawns was so hard couldn’t eat it, egg fried rice was very greasy looking, crispy beef had big pieces carrot didn’t like that, didn’t have much flavour but was eatable once mixed together

The honey bbq spare ribs was dry . And his lamb curry was more like beef and no curry sauce in it then the ruby's special rice was dry too. Very very disappointed

The food was late, the food seemed bland, the king prawn with S&S sauce was pre mixxed, we did not enjoy this.

We waited for over 2 hours as the restaurant claimed you did not send my order to them. We had children hungry waiting hours for food. I complained but no response has been given and a refund was not issued by the restaurant as yet.

I never do reviews but for this I had to. The Chinese we had was the most disgusting meal I've ever had in my life it was absolutely vile and chucked in the bin, over an hour late also. Please do not waste your hard earned money here go else where.

Ordered at 6.35pm received at 9.10pm The food was amazing as always but shouldn’t give estimated times before ordering and if it’s going to be too long you should be given the choice weather to proceed, Just Eat does not care as long as they get they’re commission,
