YO! Swindon Tesco Kiosk in Swindon

Took the family in here for the all day breakfast. 4 of us had the regular breakfast and one the big breakfast. Firstly the prices are very good regular at £5.95. All cooked perfectly. Quality ingredients for the money.

We usually pop in for breakfast when we do our weekly food shop. The staff are always friendly and welcoming especially Rochell who always greets us with her infectious smile. I usually have poached eggs on dry toast (don’t like butter) And the eggs are always runny. Hubby has the full breakfast so I decided today to have the same and I wasn’t disappointed . Keep up the good work.

Been here before for breakfast but recently thought I'd try something different from the full English....it's so good that I've been back several times. First let's get the negatives out of the way; the music is a bit too loud when it's not busy, and the table I sat at was a bit wobbly (pet hate). I had the Chorizo Breakfast Eggs, very nice. Not something I'd usually try, but well worth the change. 2 poached eggs & smashed avocado on sourdough (🤷) toast, with diced chorizo & rocket. The eggs were runny this time 👍👍😉 I've had the Posh Beans on Toast before, with added chorizo, that's nice too 😋

Didn't get past the incredibly grumpy lady on till. I asked her what gluten free food they had, and was told in (a very sullen, 'computer says no' sort of way) that they had 'nothing'. 'Nothing at all?' I reply, somewhat surprised. 'No', she say flatly, and with all the charisma of a breeze block. We could have stayed for just a coffee to tide us over (a common tactic of coeliacs worldwide), but when faced with that sort of 'welcome', we were done. Won't be returning.

Really long wait at till, slow people on till, portions are small, breakfast was cold. Workers really do not seem to give a crap Find a nicer place

Went into tesco for a scone with clotted cream once again no clotted cream we are in Tesco's fridge full off clotted cream just get it. However the lady that served us said I could have squirty cream not the same but excepted it. Thankyou for that I enjoyed every mouthful. Exceptional member of staff thankyou.

Breakfast is spoilt with the cheap nasty sausage not even served browned, there fish and chips for the money is brilliant. Get to grips with breakfast and all be good.

After getting a bite to eat, went to fill up at the petrol station. Sat on my motorcycle waiting, then shouted at via the speaker....GET OFF THE MACHINE FIRST??... sorry Tesco's...w.t.f. is this all about?? Filled up anyway..but holding/ tilting the bike upright to obtain a full fill up. Went in to pay, asking what is it all about?...it's the LAW.I WAS TOLD? What law I asked, ( nothing I know of in fuel license rules?) It's not safety I said, " no it's our rules, It's safer me sat on my bike filling up I said, and I get a full tank!! That's what I came here for. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. TESCO'S ABINGDON DID THE SAME. YOU EMPLOY MUPPET MANAGERS, YOU GET MUPPET STAFF. ARE TESCO'S MAKING UP SOME NEW FUEL LICENSE RULES???.

Absolutely appalling so slllllllllow I felt like cutting my wrists over 35 minutes wait for a breakfast and a burger and chips disgusting 🤬🤬

Not cooked nicely and no value for money. Spent £6.95 on a big breakfast that was undercooked and had no Flavour. British pork sausages at a guess were probably around 60% meat the cheapest of the cheap, the bacon was very fatty. Couldn't finish sausages or bacon due to looking rather pale and undercooked. Beans, eggs, toast were all fine. I would say to anyone wanting a good breakfast, stick to the traditional cafe . Pale sausages and fatty pale bacon. blehhhh.

Breakfast review 🍳☕ On a friend's recommendation I decided, on the spur of the moment, to give this another go. Firstly a small complaint, if I don't want tomato then please offer a replacement of some sort, (the idea has just popped into my head, offer tomato or mushroom). That having been said the breakfast was delivered to my table promptly & politely by a nice young lady. On first impressions I thought the sausages were a bit small, but I have to say they were excellent quality if slightly undercooked for my taste. The beans were a marked improvement from my last visit, the hash browns were very good (crunchy on the outside,) as was the bacon (not crunchy), which there seemed to be plenty of. Eggs were near perfect & the fried bread suitably crispy. Tesco's own brand brown sauce rather than Daddies or HP was a minor disappointment 😉 The black coffee was okay but, for me, overpriced. £8.55 for large breakfast (no tomato), and black coffee. All in all not bad & a considerable improvement from my last visit. I'd give it 6.5, maybe 7 out of 10, square plates and HP sauce would have confirmed the 7 😉😂

I stopped off here on impulse after doing my shopping. I visited with my husband, both in our late 50s. We ordered 2 Big Breakfasts, and, hot drinks. The breakfast came to our table promptly. It was absolutely delicious, hot, fresh, quality ingredients, and the fried bread was perfection!! Will definately visit again, and my cappachino was a treat to drink too. The lady who served us was polite and friendly, even tho she was serving, making drinks, and also clearing tables, she was very efficient indeed. Worth the stop off

Restaurant wasn’t too bad. However you are on a 3 hour time limit. After I done my shop and visited this cafe i went over 3 hours and ended up with a parking ticket! I defiantly won’t be visiting Tesco or the cafe as there are money hungry thief’s timing your shopping time waiting to give you a parking ticket. Better super markets in Swindon where u aren’t timed. Tried to speak to their customer service who was some lady that needs to learn how to speak to people let alone customers.

I have visited this store lots of times in the past but today was the first time I visited the cafe. It's quite a nice cafe with plenty of choices whether you want just a tea or coffee or a proper lunch. The coffee was quite nice with quite a decent portion size. It was not particularly busy but the staff seem to be getting a bit confused with various orders, or it could have been us confusing them. Although I did not order any food, one of my colleagues did and it looked nice. Think I may have to visit again.

Shopping in Tesco we thought we would give The Cafe another go as we were not impressed after our last visit , plenty of sandwiches to choose from etc . We had a egg mayonnaise sandwich £2.95 and two teas £1.45 each. The sandwich was nice and fresh a though a bit more filling needed .Tea was nice and hot, we will definately be visiting again soon .

Thought we would have a quick snack so we orderd tomato and basil soup took too long and was terrible taste, thick gluppy rubbish.

Hot food, and toastie sandwiches brought to our table with salad included; recommend :-) Coffee and hot chocolate was also consumed; very tasty indeed.

This has a good range of choices to suit myself who is a vegetarian and our young kids. They were occupied with colouring pictures and the food didn't take long to come at all. Portions were fairly big so we all went home full!

Customer service was appalling. Asked about gluten free food only to have a folder thrown at me and told to find it myself. Staff were too busy shouting at each other to serve drinks and were generally rude and unhelpful.

I can only report we will never eat at this facility again. Not clean, very poorly prepared food and staff do not care for complaints. Tesco Cafe at swindon needs to be visited by score on the door or inspector. One word = YUCK
