We went for an early evening dinner with our son and his friends for a birthday treat. Great service and chat from the chefs. Shout out particularly for Ben, who did an amazing job of chatting to a bunch of curious and excited kids while prepping sushi. Thanks all!

I found it very underwhelming, and a pricey way to each lunch. A few choices were tasty, most were incredibly bland, and the conveyer belt was filled with near identical looking dishes - no presentation to make them stand out at all. While it was fine, I wouldn't rush back, there are definitely better lunches for the money in Edinburgh

We had a very tasty dinner. The service from the counter staff was poor. Plates were thrown at us and when we asked what they were, the hostility was palpable. Thankfully, the manager got involved and paid special attention to us after this, making sure our experience from then on was good. The food was good and the service attentive. The staff in the front kitchen are young and could do with some hospitality training, being so visible to customers. But kudos to the manager - saved what could have been a horrible experience. And the food was good.

46 South Clerk StreetI enjoyed the two large pizzas—Mix Asian and Chicken Club Special—from Chicken Club for £21 as a home takeaway. The food was delicious, and I appreciate that they serve halal food and accept card payments. However, I suggest providing insulated packaging to keep the pizzas warm, especially in the city’s harsh weather. I also noticed that their hygiene and halal certificates displayed on the walls were 4–6 years old and appeared to be expired, which should be updated for customer confidence.
