This place is apparently aimed at serving fun food, with minimal service or gastronomic science (will we dare to write, gastrology?), to a clientele about to take a flight. It (hopefully) does not aim at authenticity. The staff (probably originated from Gujarat or Southall rather than Kyoto, by the look of them) were well intentioned and attentive. The food, provided we accept some innovative approach to tradition, was good and well presented on a kaiten (running carpet). However, it turns out quite overpriced.

Maybe it was my stupidity to go half an hour before they were due to close whilst waiting for an end-of-day flight. I have rarely found staff who were less interested in serving a customer. In fact, it was very clear they would have preferred if I hadn't called in at all. By then the choices were limited - that's acceptable in a place like this, but the quality of the fare was really poor too. It was lukewarm, must have been going for hours on that conveyor. The staff were just focused on clearing up and clearing off. It gets a dot here only because one young guy was helpful and polite in explaining what they had on the drinks menu - I think I was looking for alcohol-free beer. He stood out amongst the rest. He got the tip. Don't go here. Try The Big Smoke across the corridor instead, if you're after good food, good service and reasonable airport prices.

Useless uninterested staff. Sitting on the airport watching the “chefs” preparing over 200 dishes that were ready to go on the sushi belt.. instead of putting them up for sale they leave them, all 200,sitting on the counters on the kitchen with only edamame and dessert on the belt. Then trying to get the attention of the “service” staff was nearly impossible. Just reinforcing my thoughts on how terrible the service industry in London is. Absolutely useless!!

Flavorful Japanese Ramen and salad bowls. Prompt service with affordable menus. No we did not try the sushi as it’s been a while since my last Ramen. Really enjoyed it. And of course the bottomless miso soup is the best offer. .

Went shopping at Blue Water with the wife. We were hungry so decided to go and eat at Yo Sushi. Sat down, ordered and the food came with in about 20 minutes. It was slightly warm but edible. I looked to my right, and with in arms reach were 2 big knives that the chef/coom was using. I told the waitress that they really need to be moved on to work station out of the reach of the public. The waitress told the chef/cook but she just ignored her request to move them and just straightened them up...but still in reach. VERY VERY DANGEROUS. Sent an email to their head office and explained my concerns but nobody ever replied....POOR SERVICE.

It’s a fake Japanese food place! It’s appearance is fun and cool. Ramen is poorly made, wrong noodle, wrong soup base. Sushi meat has only salmon.

Told curtly after being sat down that we had to use the online system to order drinks and hot food, even though we already knew what we wanted. No instruction given, just “scan this barcode with your phone”. Annoying as I was saving my phone battery for later, so had to dig my phone out of my bag and log onto Heathrow wifi as data signal terrible in the airport. Great way to inconvenience the customer to save money on staff. And of course the online ordering system didn’t work properly and glitched out. Finally managed to flag someone working there down who shrugged his shoulders and took our order. Couldn’t he have done that in the first place? Made me pay straight away, even though we still had to pay afterwards for stuff we took from the belt. What’s that about? Belt selection was extremely disappointing, with only the same 3 or 4 mediocre options going round. Looking around at other patrons, nobody was impressed with the selection. The food in general was bland compared to previous visits. Won’t be coming back here when at Heathrow next.

Excellent service throughout. Pleasant staff and experience. Thank you also for coming after me when I left my bag. Lovely food. Brought veggie orders over and explained menu to us. Clean and efficient. Dharamir was brilliant very attentive and accommodating. Super quick cleaning up also. So kind! Thank you also to Justin and tatiane.

I am writing this review a bit late tehhehe But the service by the workers was lovely especially the young boys who run all around the restaurant and make sure everything is ok. GREAT!

Grabbed to-go sushi while running through T2 in always-delayed LHR. I knew it was a roll of the dice so we got fare that was more shelf-stable...and it worked, fortunately. But prices are already exorbitant so next time, we'll probably opt differently. Queue for checkout was also quite slow.

This used to be my only go to at Heathrow. Never again. Very very very little choice in the belt! No desserts on belt at all, not one. Had to get a drink through the app, paying separately. And even then, my favourite thing wasn't available. Incredibly disappointed, I totally do not recommend anymore.

Hi, I was about to take flight to Lisbon and before that I went to YO! Sushi to have something to eat. Therefore, the Manager called “Kasia” got me a nice table to sit down and then took my order (I did order spice rice and soup). The meal was fantastic, tasty, nice presentation (soup) and fresh. All the staff looked happy and very polite. In general the place was clean and fresh. I highly recommended and I’ll be back soon. Thank you,

Sushi is not fresh, comes out of fridge onto belt. ‘Crispy’ prawn roll is soggy and tastes of socks. Staff unhelpful and state that’s how it is.
