Tried booking a table for 10 o'clock but was told they don't do it that late, but closing time is 11:30... somewhat confused

3 years in a row. It's just great. I choose for the king prawns garlic and chily it wasn't to spicy it was really nice with some fried rice and I loved it. Friends of mine choose for the banquet and they had smile from ear to ear. So we will be back next year 😇

We had starter of chicken and sweetcorn soup which was so nice. Then had main meal of sweet and sour chicken which came as a meal had to order rice extra which both was small portions no way near filled a gap in my belly for £42 was expensive for size of portions.

Music was a bit loud for my liking but everything else was excellent, toilets are upstairs though so be aware if you have mobility issues

Had taken away from here beef green pepper with chilli propa bland never tasted any chilli at all

Yet again got the takeaway order incorrect food average hardly any sauce expensive for what you get local still ay for prawn crackers joke

Ordered a take away for 7, had a meat banquet and also a vegetarian banquet which is rare and really excited half the group. It was all perfect and big servings. Highly recommended, we won't be using any other Chinese restaurants from now on.

Annual family holiday meal - as always, lovely, plentiful food and very nice helpful staff. We had a wonderful evening for 8! Met one of the owners outside and he was nice too. If coming to Brid you must stop off here at last one night. We had roast duck and pancakes plus mixed shared dishes. Washed down with ice cold Chinese beer (me anyway). Thanks to all!

A really good Chinese restaurant. Nothing fancy, no gourmet style eating, but, if you're looking for a takeaway or similar style food to eat indoors, this is as good as any around here.

Lived in Bridlington for 2 years & first visit to Yips tonight on my birthday. The best Chinese meal I've ever had. Service was perfect too.

Comprehensive menu, delicious food, good sized portions. The staff were, polite, professional and friendly. Very clean premises. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Good advice regarding food choices from the lovely waitress Helen , who remembered us on our 2nd visit an gave us extra peking sauce that she remembered we liked Not ideal for disabled, as toilets I believe toilets are up stairs .

Booked a table for 8 on Saturday at 6 for a 80th birthday what a great restaurant the food was for all of us superb the service was fantastic we took our own cake and they gave us plates and a knife to cut it would Highley recommend a meal there give it a try would recommend booking if you can very popular thanks to all the staff for a smashing night will be back

Called in without any booking with my wife on the off chance they could fit us in. What a lovely place. The food was very nice, they had a large menu. They are licensed. We each had starter, main, and sweet. 2 drinks each. Very friendly, and considering we had a few extras added onto our meal, I think that £76 was quite reasonable. We will call again.

Went to yips for the first time last night. The service you get is absolutely fantastic they even opend the door for us when we were leaving the staff are so kind and can't do enough for you! The food is beautiful maybee the nicest Chinese food I've ever tasted! I can 100% recommend this Chinese restaurant. My husband dosent like chinese food that didnt matter he had steak and chips cooked just perfect for him we will definitely be returning thank you 😊

It’s an honest no frills restaurant that serves excellent food. Clean and tidy with a good selection on the menu. Staff are attentive and the food came quickly. Restaurant is a little tight on space and you need to plan your route to and from your table, and although I’m sure they would accommodate wheelchair users I could see it being a problem. If you want good Chinese food at a reasonable price l, it’s the place to go.

Excellent food very clean and considering we dined early the restaurant had quite a few full tables would recommend anyone who likes Chinese food to give it a try

The food was lovely the waitress was unreal and should not be doing that job no customer service skill.

Average food. Disgraceful service. Get rid of the stout rude woman who serves, so rude, made us feel so uncomfortable we will never go again. To say the food is suppose to be 5*, Err, dont think so.

Shocking customer service. I am allergic to certain meats and was doing a take away all I was told was they are busy and couldn’t help me !!!!

Went to this place in april with my Brother and his girlfriend and must say The food was excellent my brother liked It that much and his girlfriend that they Went again at lunchtime the next day to Get some more food for the trip back Home To Yorkshire just recently been to Bridlington and wanted to go back there For a takeaway but my friend wanted a Curry instead i will be back though Hopefully next month friendly staff great Food and good service recommend this Place.

Went for the businessmans lunch. Fabulous food, great service!

Went here to eat last week as a party of 4, one of whom is GF. Drinks came quickly. There was a decent choice of food on the GF menu, and it was apparently very nice. All other orders were tasty. Portions are generous, and reasonably priced. The only downside, if you can call it that, was a waitress who looked like she would rather be anywhere but there. But I would go back again!

They kindly fit us on as we hadn't booked. Wish we hadn't bothered really. The food was not great and the place was too full to eat comfortably as the staff were charging by all the time. Couldn't see why it was so popular as I have had far better Chinese food than this. The sweet and sour pork looked like dog chunks and was entirely tasteless. Try somewhere else next time.

Food looked nice but was cold, door was open at all times and it was cold and draughty asked to be moved but was told the only table was behind us yet people who had not booked were given better tables

We arrived quite late but they were happy to accommodate us. The staff are friendly and the food was amazing! We will definitely be returning. :-)

Food was hot but disappointingly bland, waitess was sullen and very abrupt, difficult to understand and seemed annoyed when asked to repeat herself.

Having eaten at Yips a number of times over the years I have always found the food consistent in its quality. The kitchen staff always prove their worth and serve quality Chinese food and the restaurant menu is priced acceptably. Having visited many other Chinese restaurants around the country I have never been disappointed by a meal at Yips and as such I will continue to visit when in Bridlington. The food is always cooked well and with the vegetarian options that are also available this restaurant serves all diets and requirements. I have always found the front of house restaurant staff pleasant, engaging and helpful. Also, they are attentive but not overbearing which allows a meal to be fully enjoyed. The restaurant is a medium sized but pleasant eatery that is not overly formal but appropriately relaxed. Consequently, it provides an excellent eating experience on the seafront whilst providing quality Chinese food in a pleasant surrounding. Therefore, I will continue to visit when in Bridlington as an excellent meal is always guaranteed. Thank you Yips!

Frozen supermarket food like chicken in batter and ice cream out of a supermarket tub. Yes anyone can spice a dish up with a homemade sauce. At least they can make a nice sauce, but give this place a miss unless you just want to throw money away. Service was polite and friendly though

Not worth the money, beef and chicken were not edible at all. No taste and not good quality of food. Chewy / Too fat beef. I don't recommend this place.

We hadn't been for quite a few years - since the previous owners had it. Menu not as good as it used to be. Food was nice. Would we dine there again? No. Not because of the food or the service - it just didn't have the wow factor that it used to have

Lovely food and staff were super friendly me and my partner had the banquet A at £30 per person was alot of food our favourite dish was the satay chicken in the starter, I really liked the duck and pancakes my partner really liked the sweet and sour chicken 100% would recommend and will be going again!

I went to YIPS expecting a whole different eating g experience. I was disappointed, it's very ordinary, I have had better in the town.

Took a takeaway Singapore fried rice for kids and they could not eat at all beacuse of the saltnes. It was my kids favourite. Now you made them hate this dish. I'm sure your schef getting a free supply of salt from somewhere.

Nice restaurant, well put together, well maintained and clean. Staff were polite and attentive. The food choice is varied and extensive, have "English" and Vegetarian dishes options. The service was at its best, not much wait. Food was served hot, tasted really really good, good feedback from.everyone around the table, even from the fussiest eaters. Had seen reviews that this is the best Chinese Restaurant here in Bridlington and now I agree. Definitely recommend.

Well what can I say... Turned up at the restaurant to be greeted by a woman with a face like thunder who seemed most disgruntled that we hadn't booked even though the restaurant was empty (it had just opened at 5.30pm on a Thursday). We were eventually shown to a table by a different woman after they both had a muttered conversation with each other. I can say this is the worst customer service we have ever come across. Can't comment on the food because we walked out because we have never felt so unwelcome. Will never go back!
