First time trying this place today and I must say that I'm truly impressed. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were great. Probably the best chippy I've had in a while!

Yiannos is the best place for chicken curry and food is at an excellent value for money

The staff are lovey and are allways polite and friendly but the food is no. I will not be eating from here again. I have found hair in my food bits of blue plastic or might have been rubber. Ive been ill after eating the food aswell. ive have been given refunds from this but sorry i will not be eating from here again

Very friendly staff, lovely people & always clean. They're always busy when I arrive which is good to see. Food is always fresh & tasty. Chippy chips are my favourite. Convenient parking is available and easy access to the entrance. However, I would like to see some vegetarian or vegan options. I didn't see it on the menu. I will ask next time I visit. Thank you for your hospitality.

i ordered an uber eats they were late and refused to answere my calls when i asked for a refund they refused ive paid over £10 for terrible service and no food what scummy people

Food always lovely staff friendly but went there earlier today there was a woman with her mask under her chin leaning on the counter eating food whilst waiting for the rest of her order, other customers were having to get quite close to her to pay for and collect there order i wasn't the only one to notice this. Didn't look very good for the place during this pandemic.

Been there 3 times in about 2 months, always the same , yesterdays fish and chips , never cooked for you they blag it and try to make you believe they are cooking fresh . Terrible , they rechon the fish is cod , I dont think so, more like basa . I now travel to town to get a decent take away ,

Stay away from this place, the food is DISGUSTING! Had food from here today and I agree with all other bad reviews and wouldn’t ever give this business another penny. Portions are tiny, the food was greasy and the staff have a SHOCKING amount of manners & don’t even look clean, nor hygienic. Food is overpriced and foul - don’t bother ever visiting this dump, go to any other competitor!

I tried to phone an order through the other day as i thought it would be easier for them rather than have another person waiting in queue , but the lady who answered the phone to me was horrible she was literally screaming down the phone saying i haven't got time for this come in yourself and wait she was so rude it was one of the blonde ladies who answered unfortunately i dont know her name but she needs to learn some customer service skills it was a shame because the food was ok batter soggy but apart from that it was ok

Not given a chance to request food wanted. Only lightly battered fish. Was told to wait outside even though full order had not been given. when the server was asked if that included everything i wanted i was told to wait outside. when i complained that i had to wait twice i was treated disgustingly I will never return!!!!

Great food but wrong order, hoping this isn't a habit forming especially as reading an order online usually doesn't produce many mistakes. £3 for a small diet coke was not what was ordered.

Usually have a good food from here but the fish on Saturday teatime was terrible. Very little fish loads of batter which was crisp on the outside and not cooked properly on the inside.but they were Very busy. Did not enjoy this meal sorry. Chips were good.

Been coming here for years. Food is reasonably priced, staff are excellent, very helpful and the food is amazing. Having worked in chippies before I am quite fussy but the food here is great quality, good portion sizes and really tasty.

Been there before and had really good fish and chips so called in last night to pick up supper. Quite a long wait for the chips but the fish had been cooked before the chips started cooking so it was very dry to start with but tasted really strange and not at all nice. Even the cat refused to eat it! The chips weren’t very nice as too many had been put in the oil so it wasn’t hot enough causing the chips to be pale and soggy. A really disappointing experience that has put us off returning there

Ordered three meals for delivery, will be honest and say the fish I stole off my girlfriends plate was really good, stole it as the Donner meat was terrible, no flavour, tasted like it was frozen about a month ago and nuked in the microwave. This made the chips soggy and greasy. First time in a long time I did finish a chippy tea.

Had a delivery from here. Avoid the donner meat. Was cut thick and had a horrible texture almost like frozen and reheated. Did not finish. But tried the girlfriends battered fish which was really tasty.

everything fine except I paid for and ordered a Fanta drink which wasn't received!

Usually excellent but today the food was under cooked and they forgot part of my order.

I always like to order here and always happy with the food. They didn't have what I ordered, so the lady rang me to ask if there was anything else I'd like. She put together the tastiest Veggie burger I've ever eaten and the delivery was quick as always. The only problem I have is that I would love to order the veggie burger again, but it isn't on the menu.

I had some chips tonight from brynteg and they went in the bin ..all bits and rock hard very disappointed. As it is a chippy I have been going to for ages ..put me off

Personally, I think this is the best fish and chip shop in Wrexham. The food is lovely, waiting times good and staff often friendly.

Cold late and inedible , will not be ordering again

Normally, the quality of service and food is unquestionable, but tonight I ordered 2 small fish, 1 large chips, peas, curry sauce and some spring rolls and the fish was tiny and batter not up to their normal standard and a large chips didn't even fill the tray they came in and could be best described as a handful. Very disappointing!
