Everland Fish Bar in Wrexham

Good chippy, relocated from across the beast market. Probably not helped by having Jones’ less than a minute’s walk away, but it’s a solid alternative. Best option is to park in the spaces on St George’s Crescent in front of the doctor’s surgery, in the pay and display opposite those spaces, the car park to the left of the chippy (not the Tŷ Pawb one, the council car park next to it), or in the 30-minute parking spots in front of the chippy. Parking is free after 11am in council car parks.

I went in and ordered a small chips, battered sausage an pot of curry sauce. I got told to wait a minute (I assumed they were making the chips fresh), anyway... She returned 10 minutes later and started scooping chips that had been sat there on the side into a tray. I eat chippy quite often and these luke warm chips tasted exactly how they looked, dry, old and some even burnt. The battered sausage had some burnt bits and some not cooked. The curry was standard,nothing special! It's not exactly cheap for a chippy these days so you expect a bit more effort. There wasn't any smiles or anything even though we were the only customers they had. I hope they were having an off day but just from that experience, there's not a chance I'd go back. £7.10. I hate to give a bad review, but this wasn't expectable unfortunately!

Tasty food, friendly staff, reasonable prices

Usually everything is spot on especially if you go in store staff are friendly ect , they use a third party for delivery(just eat) where I did not receive my order Which was paid for , phoned up the take away and I felt as if they was not bothered lost over £25 no offer for replacement food been using this takeaway for years since a kid but will definitely not be returning or giving any more custom when in town

Ordered last week and they mixed the order up with some wrong items. Saturday night rush so fully understand this is easily done. I called them up and they sorted it out within 20 minutes. Absolutely brilliant. I don’t often leave reviews but this service 100% warranted it. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a while too. Everland will be my go-to from now on. Thanks guys!

Nice friendly service, sadly that's where the positive ended. Chips were barely cooked, soft and mushy. Curry sauce hadn't been mixed properly so had lumps of powdery substance (also pretty cold). Overall most of my dinner was luke warm and barely cooked. I used to love this place and have visited a few times, but this experience has put me off going back again.

Absolutely not ever going to order online through just eat as this is the second time my order did not show up.Yet online it shows delivered it actually got delivered to no 11 and not no 9 as per delivery instructions . I suggest that you everland need to vet your drivers as how does an 11 look like a 9 also the driver actually had girlfriend and kid in car according to my neighbour and put our food not back in heat seal bag in boot but put in car with them so I hope they enjoyed my dinner absolutely fuming Customer complaints must be at an all time high through Just Eat My family friends and neighbours will now not be ordering through this service Karen Morrison No 9 not No 11 LL112YH

Asked for 2 large sausage, chips and curry sauce. Got home and had 2x 1 large sausage, chips and curry sauce, I'm creased. Oh well chips and curry tomorrow aswell

ive been going to everland fish and chip bar for about 4 years. i usually get a double cheese burger, w lettuce, mayo. they do the best burgers and most of the time the chips are really good. also good prices and really friendly staff

Love the food here, always a friendly welcome. The staff are great, the food is ALWAYS spot on. The selection is great (although the foot long and burger are always a winner with me)

My pie has clearly been microwaved as the pastry is rock solid and when has chicken been brown? I didn't ask for mushy peas on my food and when rang to inquire I was talked over and told that's what it is, like I've never ordered from them before. Well I won't be again as I'm tired of the terrible food. Not interested in customer satisfaction at all it seems. Delivery guy's great though

We went here 2 days ago but we have been there before but I like to go twice to some places to get a true picture. Food here is really lovely, portions are very good. Staff are really lovely. They also sell homemade fudge which is very nice indeed. Definitely recommend here.

Fish is not cooked to order so was really poor. Chips were ok but just warm and the guy serving was so miserable. Won’t be visiting there again.

Food wasnt that nice, chips werent hot, tasteless and the pie wasnt warm. Dont recommend the chicken wrap.. wont be visiting again, as everland have gone down hill, they were one of the best chippies in town

I waited in line, behind 2 customers with large orders patiently, as soon as my turn was up a lady came in and stated im here for a pick up, the lady at the till instantly started reading her order she pre booked, that being around 7 portions, I had to now wait again for this lady now to pay and take her meals, even though i just only wanted one portion, that being large sausage and chips, I got my turn and the lady gave me the smallest portion of chips possible, and said salt viniger i said yes but by time i said yes she already wrapped as i was going to ask for sauce, so i thought sod it, just rushing it, since this lady started, it has gone down hill, the 2 guys are amazing so for this lady im giving it a 2 star rating as it was nice but the customer service was a joke. dated 28/11/21 time 18:10

Realky did not enjoy the fish n chips. Chips were OK but the fish was very small ( Even though I ordered large) and over cooked.

Disgusting food, fish was very hard inside a dirty looking batter, chips where nothing special but customer service was good. Just a shame the food has put us off returning in the future.

A good honest fish and chips shop not the best in wrexham but certainly not the worst it is cheap but that can reflect in the portion sizes. It's clean and you can dine in there.

One of the best places to get a takeaway in Wrexham, but the night I called the fish wasn't great, the batter was too dark and had been left in its own oil too long. I think I give it a miss for a while and hope it gets better.

My Wife & I have been getting our Thursday or Friday fish & chips from Everlands for well over 20 years,(started when they were just a small corner chippy across the road),finding a bone in their fish is like finding a Unicorn,sometimes my Wife has a chicken breast instead of fish for a change.They ALSO do fish" without batter" if you should so desire,all the staff in there are great & can have a laugh with you.They now do some Mexican food but alas,they have had to close their eat in side as they were making a loss on it thanks to this virus.

I was so looking forward to Fish&chips tonight but my usual chip shop was closed so I thought I would give Everland a go but I won't use them again.The fish was over cooked and was not fresh the chips were very greasy when I put them on my plate my finger were just grease and the mushy peas had to be the most tasteless I have ever had. A total disgrace.

This is our regular Friday evening take away place,the "crew" there are great & the foo is always well cooked,my Wife likes her fish without batter & they willingly do this for her.

The food was very fatty and not really tasty.

Disappointed with this chippy. My elderly parents used to order fish & chips each to be delivered. It cost around £10 & delivery was free which was great given that they only lived literally 2 mins drive from the chippy itself. Now it’s £20 for free delivery or pay £3! My parents used to enjoy their fish supper but as they are only 2 people they don’t need £20 worth of food! Charging £3 for delivery when it’s literally down the road is excessive as all other food delivery places in town deliver to them for free as they are right on the edge of the town centre. Encouraging people to spend over £20 is fine! But there are plenty of elderly couples in Wrexham who don’t need that much food as it’s just the 2 of them! I picked up fish and chips from everland for them & had some myself. It wasn’t the best fish and chips I’d had by a long chalk. I get them fish & chips weekly from my local chippy now and take it to them myself. They enjoy it. Everland has lost our respect & my parents loyal custom. Absolute greed on their part! They need to look at every other takeaway food place in Wrexham, no other food place charges for delivery locally!

Disgusting. Placed an order on Uber eats and the order arrived with a long black hair in the packaging. Tried to ring restaurant to make complaint and ask for a refund and was shouted at down the phone and hung up on multiple times. Phone calls were subsequently ignored. Terrible customer service and no attempt to resolve the issue.

Usual fish and chip shop fare but it's hot, tasty food that doesn't cost heaps. Staff are polite and friendly. Almost always stop off here for lunch when visiting Wrexham.

I ordered a large chips from everland which cost £1.80, the person serving gets the little scoop out and scoops 3x into the paper which is in his hand (I’d say at least half a scoop falls back in to the fryer at this point) then puts it down. When he puts them down to ask for salt and vinegar I look down and to me it doesn’t look anywhere near a large chips (as seen in the photo in my eyes a large chips is a decent amount that can be shared between 3 people) so I ask for an “extra scoop” In which he replies I’ll have to charge extra. I Wasn’t overly happy but I thought ok I’ll take that, when it came to price up I got charged £1.20 (same price for a small portion of chips) ....... £1.20 !!!! I wouldn’t mind but the scoop he gave extra was tiny !!! If he’d have said 50p I wouldn’t have minded ..... but charging somebody £1.20 for a little scoop of chips .... come on !! He told me he wasn’t arguing with me over it, I told him neither am I but I’m not getting charged £1,20 for a half scoop of chips. Fair to say I asked him to take his extra scoop back for £1.20 ......I like this place and think the food is decent but when somebody tries to blatantly take the p**s I just think it’s wrong. Poor poor show.

We were going to go to a certain pizza place in Wrexham, but we went here instead. Clean, friendly staff and fabulous fish & chips! Served quickly and it was really hot! The chips were crispy and the mushy - I could eat gallons of them!!
