their have the best and most delicious food

One of the best chippies in town. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because my bank cries whenever I go and buy my family their tea!

Fish was soggy and chips Were soggy will not go back. Very disappointing.

I thought I'd make an updated review as my previous review is 3 years old now, I moved to the area by the chip shop now so it could be my regular but although I've upped the score to a 2 star (maybe due to being more mature, who knows) the food is still passable at best, the last 3 times I've been there over 2ish months they've gotten my order wrong, blamed me for it or looked at me funny and then repeated the receipt that they got wrong at me as if it were gospel and the prices are still horrendous, I thought I may have been imagining it but i always order the same things so at 3 other chip shops in the area the bill was around £28 but borras park was £41, the only good points I can think of is it looks nice and clean and there's always plenty of parking, personally I'll be going jones' or everland still even though i have to drive there now

Really nice chip shop ive been coming here for years its a family run chip shop it's very clean with hot delicious food and really friendly staff, with lots to chose from on the menu board, good variety of children's menu too.

We always go here for our family chippy savoury is to die for and fish and chips is delicious aswell staff are very friendly and happy to help I been having this chippy since I was a little girl at age of 5 now I am 33 highly recommend and hygiene is 5 star

Best chippy in town, the staff always make u feel welcome and its like they all remember you. They even gave "Pat" here fish and chips free at Christmas as she's a regular customer. Fab customer service.

I have been going here for years, the owners have been established in Wrexham since the 1970s, and have been in the trade even longer. Immaculately clean shop, lovely owners, the staff always friendly and happy to help. Fish and chips is a must, with a side of "Chinese" curry. 5* highly recommend.

It’s rare these days that a chippy can do great fish and great chips together, but the cod & chips here were both fantastic, £7.50 for both is a bargain compared to some other places.

What has happened to Borras Chippy? I've had many take outs from Borras Chippy in the past, In the last 12 months or so something has changed? The quality of food provided has dropped in my opinion. There was an issue with how the chips were being fried, they were not cooked enough, causing them to clump on the chip paper, this issue seems to have been sorted now by leaving the chips in the fryer a little longer. There has been an issue with the fish on my last two visits, they appear to have been 'double dipped' potentially from lunchtime? The batter was dark brown in colour, the fish inside was very dry, I don't know what has happened to the quality of the food? I pass 2 fish and chip shops on my way to Borras Chippy but as I have usually enjoyed the food I don't mind to travel to Borras, no more I'm afraid.

Sad to say it’s not nearly as good as it used to be… expensive, small portions & tasteless food. Disappointed ☹️

My husband and his family enjoys meals here, but I am a coeliac (gluten free) and unfortunately I am not catered for in this chippie. It's easy enough to cater for coeliac (lots of us about too) all you need is a small separate fyrer for the chips, and gf batter, readily available. Little effort will allow so many more people to enjoy a local traditional fish and chips. I hope to see them on the menu soon!

If you like the cheapest kebab meat and chips that tastes of nothing come here. You can source so much better quality kebabs that have proper lamb content and spices than sell this stuff. And what ever kind of potato the chips are made from ( again no flavour even with the garlic mayo added ) shame.

Used to be nice and the kebabs nice but not tonight. Kebabs was awful. Used be be made with fresh chunky lettuce and onion but tonight it was bought from a supermarket as the onions were those tiny chopped slimy things. If I wanted a frozen qud kebab I would have got from supermarket. Revolting and still repeating on me now.

It's been some time since I have been here until yesterday. The improvement to the shop and menus are good. The order was completed quickly and efficiently and with a smile even though it was very busy and the weather was hot. Great fish and chips all freshly cooked

Bit pricey but worth that little bit extra. Fish and chips £6.10 but Delicious. But the nicest thing on the menu in my opinion is by far the home made Chicken Curry. It comes in a plastic tub like you would get a chow mein in, from the Chinese so you can get your chips separately only last time I asked you couldn't get boiled rice which would set that curry right off, but hey ho it is a fish and chip shop. The chips are always lovely too. 9/10.

The food there is terrible i suppose they buy cheap potatoes because you get to many of them which i feel is to camouflage there over fried and expensive food

This fish and chip shop used to be good but unfortunately not anymore.We ordered fish and chips and the fish was undercooked and chips were hard and tasty awful.We had this issue before but gave it another go today but never again...awful fish and chips!!.

The last twice i have called in for fish and chips i was very disappointed the fish was small the batter was hard the curry sauce was only warm not worth the money now the standards have fallen sadly.

Called last night spent £28 and most of the chips were stuck to the paper and the paper was soaked with oil not normally like this but will give it a miss for a while I think

Went to this chippy when I was in school best food around went back after 15 years and Kenny the master fryer is still there. He knows how to cook a legend in my eyes. When he goes Olympus will fall the food is second to none no one cooks fish like he does. Thank you Mr Koumas for holding on to the best fast food cook in Wales he deserves more recognition from the customers he has served. A big well done and a big thank you to Kenny.

Lots of surprising reviews that I’m sure many regularly users won’t recognise. Whatever we’ve bought has been good. The amount of repeat custom and the queues even through the COVID restrictions suggests this chippy is very good. There’s a constant flow of customers so the suggestion of cold food etc is surprising.

Nit had a "chippy tea" for years, so thought I'd go back to my old stomping ground. (Used to work here in the '80's) Was not disappointed. Food wasquality, and good value for money, even if there was a slight price increase over 30 years 😁👍

Went yesterday to get lunch for myself, my son and partner. This is our favourite fish shop and is usually really nice but yesterday was terrible! The chips were cold and tasted funny (like the oil needed changing) they went to give us a fishcake from the day before and had to ask them for a fresh one. The mushy peas were hard and swimming in water (ended up putting them straight in bin) My child has been poorly through the night with a bad tummy and we've all not felt right. I won't be eating from here again. Its cost me a day off work too to look after my son. AVOID!!!!!

We rarely have take aways but we appreciate good food well cookes . Our family of five had the works..cod , chips ,curry and mushy peas! The cod was steaming hot inside crisp batter, lashings of chips cooked perfectly, both the curry and peas were hot and tasty...All in all a banquet to remember. The staff were very pleasant , jolly and efficient
