1st time here we was stopping in the campsite behind the pub the pizza was enough between the 2 of us and the salad salad was a full bowl each, great choice of beers and ciders

Pizza menu was great, I recommend the GOAT pizza. Ales and cider very tasty.

Amazing pub, excellent range of beers, all kept very well. But they’re truly known for their ciders which are made on the farm. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Great traditional local pub and superb cider house. The cider on site sponsor the shop is a must for all cider lovers. Now with decor refresh, even better.

The most delicious pizza and triple cooked chips iv ever had. Pizza for 2 was less than £20, we had drinks as well the bill came to round £31.50 which is a great price. Definitely come back again!

Pizza was great… way better than expected. Cider was good. People running the show were friendly and kind. Parking was easy. Outside space was good with under cover areas. Dogs welcome. I will go again.

Came for the tour, stayed for the vintage cider.

They hosted a cider tour and tasting for several regions of the Round Table. The cider was fantastic and the tour very informative but relaxed. It was 'an audience with' style tasting. A great laugh. They put on a great spread of Pizza, chips and salad. Definitely value for money.

Delicious food, cider and ale. Different pizza company but enjoyed it as much as the old menu. A great vegan pizza-just needs a tiny bit more vegan cheese. Really like the new decor! Well done Yew Tree Inn!

Best pizza I have ever eaten, staff were great. Pub was super busy but everyone was on it and looked after us and the dog very well. Massive fat gold star guys

Stayed over easter weekend,not many places ive been where your made feel so welcome. The staff are all so friendly,the pizzas are the best ive ever tasted and the cider is up there with the best.the toilets are great(dont pay any attention to the 1 negative review) this is smashing little spot and in a beautifLl part of the world

Stayed overnight in motorhome. Great facilities on site with excellent clean showers. Big beer garden with ciders available from on site manufacture. Unfortunately no food available in pub on this occasion due to chef being away

Fairly basic pub that stocks a huge cider selection mostly made onsite in the barn. The beef pasty is extremely good.

I stayed 12 nights at Yew Tree inn, the site is an adults only site and a bit more compact, which I found quite pleasing. The check in to the site is contactless, you just drive in and pitch up, I extended my stay to over the BH, I just booked again via the website. The plots have EHU and a mix between hardstanding and grass. There is a pub on site, which serves good beer / cider and food (no food Sunday or Monday’s), it’s either pizza or a burgers. I tried the pizza and it was really good, I also tried the ciders, though just beware they can be of a stronger alcohol content! The facilities are satisfactory, there is chemical toilet / grey water disposal and drinking water tap. There are 3 washing up basins, 2 inside the hut and one outside, the 2 inside are much larger, in fact you probably could wash clothes in there as well. The toilets are unisex 1 disabled with shower and 2 others toilets with 1 solo walking in shower. The hot water is nuclear hot, if you wash your hands, within 10 seconds it’s so hot, so have to add cold. Phone and TV signals were good, you can see the transmitter, in the distance to the NW. The bus stop is directly outside the campsite entrance the Northbound one to Hereford has a sign and the one to Gloucester (via Ross on Wye), is the entrance to the site, (no post sign), if you using either make sure you hail the bus with a clear arm signal. The 33 is great value, it’s hourly, I got to Gloucester for £4 return, same with Hereford. I downloaded the Stagecoach app and it’s good on live times. I visited Pluzzlewood, Symonds Yat rock and river walk, Goodrich castle, on my bike. I was on the pitches, which backed on to the pub garden, I had no issues apart from on Saturdays the gardener will start up the sit on mower at 7.45am! The garden I feel, could get busy in the summer, so if you want a more quieter pitch, go for the ones on the opposite side (pitches 5-8). My only gripes were the toilet paper in the blocks kept running out and sometimes, in the end I just took my own and 1 night had a motorhome on the next pitch arrive at 9.35pm and they were making noise banging away setting up until at least 10.45pm. Also, on site in the first week a lot of noisy yapping dogs, behind the site there is a mobile home park and they too have dogs and sometimes the site ones barking set off them and it sounded a bit like cruffs. All in all I enjoyed my stay.

Camp site, a bit of a let down. Toilets/ showers ok, but pitches rough and uneven, only one point to take on water and drive back to pitch, no 'grey' water drain and entrance gate way over growing with brambles, lots of main road noise. Over priced for what you get.

Great team with an amazing range of ciders and beers. We had some lovely pizzas tonight too, sat out in the huge beer garden. We've loved this pub since moving to the area 8 yrs ago and taken various friends. It's great.

Just spent the weekend here Camping onsite with friends , had a great time so good to see a family working together on something they clearly have a passion for. From the campsite to the orchards, the cider making and of course the tasting , thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

What a brilliant place, great cider right up there with the best, Kieron was extremely pleasant and most accommodating, even opened the cider shop especially, as for the steak pie we have never tasted a pie so good anywhere absolutely fabulous.

Absolutely superb pub and touring site, all facilities spotless, heated toilet and shower block, beautiful pub with staff that went the extra mile, thank you Claire, Martin and Mark to name but a few. This was out go to pub whilst we stayed in Peterstow (Ross on Wye) It is definitely a heart of the community pub where the locals meet for a chat and right the world of its wrongs. We felt very welcome here and over the Three nights that we stayed in the area we went here every night. They do serve food but only after 17:00 and it will be just one type on food. That didn't put us off, we had Pizza freshly cooked from a pizza oven and it was so perfect. The pub is part of a Cider Orchard which has a shop attached to the property and you can try their ciders on tap in the pub or purchase them directly. Would recommend.

What an absolutely brilliant place. Love it. There's nowt like it in the Galaxy, get in there, regularly.

The food used to be amazingly lovely home cooked at fast food prices. I believe its now only pizza which I haven't yet tried so can't comment on. Nice, warm and welcoming Village pub with city atmosphere.

Stayed here for a couple of nights with our motorhome. The pub was great, big atmosphere, noisy but friendly locals, we were made welcome! Great range of ciders and perries as well as beers as the pub is on the site of Ross on Wye Cider Company. Added bonuses are the excellent pizzas available in Thursday, Friday and Saturday and occasional live music. Wish we lived a bit nearer, will definitely visit again when in the area.

Nice to get back, haven't stayed here for a while. Pub was nice and cosy, good choice of beers and ciders. Pleasant guy working on the bar. We didn't order food, but others were and seemed to enjoy. Campsite has had a face-lift, we were pleasantly surprised.

This is an extremely nice place to visit. The owner was extremely nice and funny too. If we take the same route back home, we will definitely stop for another drink and packet of crisps, plus the log burner is extremely nice to sit next too 👍

Good choice of local Real Ales but more ìmportantly..Real Cider! Hooray! Had a Cheese ' No Chutney for old Men' melt which was excellant,served with fresh salad. All Melts/ Toasties have a similar description! Friendly , helpful staff.

This place was great! We came in to try a couple of ciders and a pizza. The staff were really friendly and very knowledgeable about the cider they sold. The Pizza was great and reasonably priced too. We will definitely come back if we're in the area again.

The Yew Tree is a shambles. I waited 20 minutes and still couldn't get served. Don't waste your time calling in. The staff are useless.

Lovely pub making the most of its large garden at the back, with table service food and drinks. The staff are very friendly. This place was a welcome break on our journey, great for the kids to run around.

Great pub which we visited whilst on holiday in the area. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and the pub garden is a lovely place to relax and have a drink. Guest ales were lovely and well kept along with the house ale that the nice guy serving us let me try. We also had a CPK pizza whilst we were there (which you pay for separately) that was really yummy.

Pizza was good, beer/cider good. What was really good was the young lad checking on us, not just him actually, everyone was good. The barman, was asked about the bus service back to Ross vegas, he came out to tell us about the next bus.. top marks. If you like proper zider worth a visit

Such a friendly well looked after place and a caravan site too. Definitely will try and get a break here. Oh....and Staropramen lager too as well as the the cider...its a win, win ,win!
