My first experience with Yemeni cuisine, this place is usually busy so I decided to give it a go. I've asked for a spicy meal and the server recommended this lamb dish. It wasn't spicy at all, the chili sauce was mildly spicy. The lamb was on bone and a bit chewy, expected more meat for the price. Plenty of rice, more than enough.

I have been here now 4 times Its very good place to have authentic yemeni food on and near cheetham hill area. I ordered Fahsa its delicious be careful it comes in stoned bowl and its sizzling. I ordered lamb mandi again very delicious. Parking is a challenge i however found parking on a street behind the restaurant. Not to forget the staff is super friendly and they really serve you well. The portions are good as well.

There is very little mandi meat. I think the least amount of mandi meat I have eaten in my life. Generosity in food is a characteristic of Yemeni restaurants, not in this restaurant. We added half a chicken that was not cooked at all Shame, shame We asked for tow lamb Mandy and the meat was too little, unlike the Yemeni restaurants in all over the world. We asked for half chicken extra and for the bad luck, half cooked. Nothing to do with the Yemeni generosity at all. Sad, with regret to say it

I had an amazing meal, where I ordered the Mendi Chicken and Meat. Both dishes were tender, perfectly spiced, and full of authentic Yemeni flavors. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance made the experience even better.

Always best Yemenis food it tastes and feels that you’re having home made food, reasonably prices menu with variety of dishes.

Cheap food with fantastic taste. Lamb zurbian, lamb hamees and masoob are something you can try. The customer service is also excellent. This is my second time here and I come all the way from Leed

Unique traditional Yemeni kitchen with mouth watering full of flavor dishes. Would recommend it to anyone wanting comfort food. I'm so glad I found this place and would definitely come back.

Very small place with tight sitting and not a great atmosphere. Spicy lamb mandi and chicken mandi was also very very average.

The food here is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Family friendly, indoor dining available. Highly recommend!

Food is not clean and to expensive

Tried the chicken and lamb Mandi and it was amazing. One of the best I've had in the region. Service was excellent and friendly, provided a charger for my friend! No background music was nice and added to the authenticity of the place. Would recommend!

الاطباق لذيذة ما شاء الله، طلبنا مندي ومقلقل. لكن لي ملاحظة بسيطة، وهي الاهتمام بالنظافة في المطبخ.

المطعم يقدم الأكلات اليمنية المتنوعة لحم وكمان دجاج عندهم اصناف كثيرة من مضغوط ومندي ومحمر وبرياني وزربيان ومقلوبة وعلى الفحم وكذلك عندهم ايدامات يمنية بالاضافة للمعصوب والعريكة حقيقة رزهم لذيذ مره وأصنفه أفضل مطعم يمني بمانشستر فقط يحتاجون إلى توسعة المطعم واضافة جلسات أرضيه، المحاسب جدًا رائع ومتعاون ويكرم الزبائن، هذه الزيارة الثالثة للمطعم خلال شهر انصح بزيارته.

Worst place I have ever visited. The rice was tasteless, soggy and cold. It looked like it had been cooked a month ago, it was wormed up in the microwave. We hardly could find meat on bones. We ordered three lamb dishes and one chicken Mandi. it was waste of time and money, avoid it at any price. The table was very dirty and grassy, it was like not been cleaned for a while. Customer service was below zero. First and last time.

Staff didn’t inform about the portion, food is not that great no authentic taste of mandi rice , when we asked for the plates they bring very dirty , oily plate to eat not washed for atleast months, because I saw that much oil deposit in that never recommended.

Great little place tucked into the busy road that cheeetham hill road is, we thought we’d try a diff cuisine and went to this place. Park on the side streets, anyway as soon as we went in the aroma of whatever was cooking hit our senses and we all said we were looking forward to our meal. The bloke in the counter obviously knows basic English so when asked for recommendations he didn’t give us much so we went into reviews and saw what people mostly liked and went for a lamb haleemi, chicken Mandi and a lamb Mandi. Didn’t have to wait long and the food came in good portions and a chutney mix. The meat was coming off and was cooked perfectly the rice was a joy to eat. It’s one of those dishes you need to have it with your hand. There is a sink to wash your hands too. After our meal we ordered a Yemeni dessert called masoob it had bananas, dates, honey and ice cream with a few more sweet ingredients. It didn’t look too good to be fair but once I took the first bite it was piping hot and the sweet taste hit me for 6! We shared the dessert between 4 people and it was enough. The price for 4 meals and drinks and a dessert came to £46 pounds which is a steal. I would be going again and highly recommend you guys go there too. Reasonable price on meals big portions cash and card payments and generally clean place.

Was hoping to eat some nice chicken mandi, but was really disappointed, just a hint of flavour in rice and dry chicken :-(. They need to do alot better.

I was served steak lamb with steak rice all came from a microwave !! They state it’s fresh ! The lamb was dry and tasted old very old ! And to top it all off I didn’t touch it after few bites paid and left ! On a serious note if your looking for good Arabic/African food I recommend any Somalian place they do fresh food daily and they don’t charge 10 for a plate !! This review is honest and not malice I won’t be going back again
