Best roast dinner I've ever had, hands down! Staff were lovely and polite, service impeccable.... the conservatory area where we ate, felt like a high-class separate venue within the pub, beautiful little hideaway. Atmosphere knocked down to three stars only due to the absolutely disgusting language and conversation from the big table of old men near the bar. Luckily nowhere near our lovely little dining area. And it's not the fault of the venue's if certain guests etc don't know how to behave in a publicly acceptable manner. Lovely Sunday dining experience, be sure to book, and specify a table in the conservatory area! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thank you 🙏

Went for food this evening and it was really busy. Didn’t pre-book, but they found us a table almost immediately. Food was lovely and reasonably priced, great atmosphere and super friendly staff! Will definitely be back!

Visited here a couple of times recently with colleagues. A great pub with plenty of food options and good value for money. Staff are really nice and friendly too.

Way to expensive wouldn't recommend

Food was really nice. But the portion sizes were very small, I had minimal chips and they was gone and I still had half a steak left needed to get a big mac on the way home.

Good spot for a decent meal prior to entering Manchester Airport. Much better value than in the airport.

I wouldn’t return again. Booked a table for 7 people and was put across 2 tables in the bar area. No table service here! But that was just the beginning. Staff were miserable, we asked for condiment's and you would have thought we asked for them to smile! Thrown on the table and a real atmosphere created for a birthday meal really spoilt the event. The food wasn’t great really bad which was a surprise because the last time we went it was really nice which is what we told our guests. No one ate all the food l, it was dry and over cooked or burnt. The kids had chicken burgers one without mayo got bread and chicken one lettuce leaf. She asked for burger relish which only comes with the beef burger we was told by the staff he went to look for some in the kitchen and returned with nothing “they don’t have any”. Which confused me because what would they have put on the beef burger? Just funny really but the vibe was we weren't welcome. Which was a real shame. Had to move the dog bowl from under the table before the kids kicked it over and again this was like we’d asked for something special, I understand it’s dog friendly and it’s nice to see them but would have Prefered not to have them jumping up at the table whilst trying to eat out food sitting in the area not for dogs would have been preferable but was told that they were for people who had booked. Explained we had booked but didn’t make a difference. Spent £150 on food I wouldn’t have given the 2 dogs on the tables next to us It was an experience! One I wouldn’t repeat!

Pleasant pub and fair prices for food and drinks. Food is served piping hot, it's possible to eat inside or out, weather permitting that is. Plenty of seating available with a pub quiz on a Thursday night. Freshly refurbished bright and welcoming, great food and friendly staff.

Great pub with a dog friendly area. Can get very busy and crowed but good atmosphere good food at good price and plenty of parking. Staff great full of friendly locals and ppl outside of the area. Close to the airport. Overall great meal. Will be back.

Annual teary goodbye to my daughter at Manchester Airport is normally followed up with a trip to McD in Hazel Grove because it's on our way back to Sheffield. This time we had to inflate our tyres and the turn off revealed this pub/restaurant. Snowy ice everywhere and an almost empty carpark, the place was surrounded by moon deprived darkness. This new build pub (looked like that to me) looked to be in the middle of nowhere or perhaps an industrial site. To our surprise the place was buzzing with people and my heart sank that I wouldn't get a table without having booked. A reassuring smile and a brief check with the boss and the waitress directed us to a table in a lively restaurant. Great food. wonderful service, warm and welcoming and a total contrast to the bleak outside. The pub, both inside and out looks beautiful. No way I'm ever going anywhere else when coming home from the airport and my son goes back to his oversees home on Saturday so another visit is on the books!

Popped in for tea as we were flying for a holiday from Manchester and needed a quick bite first. What a lovely little pub we found. Staff were great, food was really good and was a nice atmosphere. Thank you very much and we will pop in again I'm sure.

Visited on New Year’s Eve with partner the food was outstanding and the portion sizes was very generous also love that they have now added steak to the menu talk about customer satisfaction well here it is at the Tatton arms! Was down from Scotland visiting our daughters and six g-kids was at the Tatton twice can't fault it. The food was lovely plus they are dog friendly we took our Frenchies Tam and Pearl all in all great time was had by all we will be back on our next visit witch won't be to long

The fish batter was bland, the steak sandwich was dry with no lettuce or rocket with very thin pieces of steak. The soup was very salty. The servers kept changing so we waited. I even had to go and ask for the bill due to waiting about 30 mins after our desserts where finished.

We had a perfect visit, excellent service, delicious food, lovely atmosphere, unhurried visit, which makes a pleasant change, these days!

Lovely food pub. The food was excellent and the staff were great. This is an old pub that has been decorated to a high standard yet still retains that old charm. Located not far from Manchester Airport, it's easy to get to and has a decent sized car park. The pub is dog friendly, so beware if that isn't your thing, however, it's big enough to cater for dog people and non dog people at the same time - particularly if you book and let them know your preference. As mentioned, the food was excellent, all of my party enjoyed their food ( Peri peri chicken burger, Steak and Ale pie, Hunters Chicken) and there is lots of choice. It's owned by Robinsons Brewery so the beer is predominantly their own. Quality was very good too. The staff were friendly and accommodating and seemed to enjoy their job. It's not the cheapest but no different from similar establishments and the quality shows. Thoroughly recommended

Nipped in before we headed to the airport. Had the steak and ale pie with chunky chips and honestly the best gravy I've tasted. Was craving it whilst on holiday it was that good. We know where to go when flying out from Manchester Airport.

Very nice pub the service was excellent and the food very good. My wife had a beautiful taco for starter which was amazing and my fish and chips for main with curry sauce. Also very nice. We can definitely recommend.

On 29/08/24, I went with my brother to Tatton Arms Moss Nook in Manchester for a meal. When we arrived, A member of staff showed us to a table & we were each given a menu to look at. We both ordered a drink, then we ordered our meal. It is the first time I have been here, while over in England visiting my brother. Staff were very friendly & made sure that everything was okay for both of us. I will certainly be back here, next year (2025), for a bite to eat. Stephen Acton.

Visited twice lately and the food is very good.

Went to watch the planes at the airport but had taken our dog who wasn't allowed in. We went to this pub instead, the food was lovely and the staff were really good. We watched the planes coming into land from the beer garden. We would definitely go back.

Was out for a walk and happened across the Tatton Arms. Walked in to a friendly greeting and got a table as a walk in. Amazing Roast Beef and a lovely pint of beer. Will certainly be back!

Called in on Weds night8pm with friends for a few drinks to be told last orders were 9.30.couldn't wait to get rid of us assistant manager waited at the bar with coat on and keys in hand felt very uncomfortable.

We stopped off here while waiting for friends returning their airport hire car and I'm glad we did. There was 3 adults, a toddler and an infant in our group. Found the staff really accommodating putting some tables together for us and telling us about the face painting they were offering for kids. The food was really nice and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the loaded fries, we got a few different ones between us with our sandwiches.

Wow, food was amazing with great portion sizes. The pizza was nice and thin and filled up with toppings. My sons burger was massive and tasty. The steak sandwich my partner got was gorgeous and filled with beef . Staff were so friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and peaceful. I would highly recommend this place. Make sure you upgrade to loaded fries with your meal and you can thank me later. 10/10!@

Had a steak and ale pie the pastry was that rubbery I didnt know wether to eat it or bounce it round the room.Seasonal veg consisted of 1 slice of carrot and a small flouret of broccoli.The food arrived at the table faster than I did so make your own conclusion on that one.

I stopped by Tatton Moss Nook and had a great experience! The beer selection was excellent, and the one I chose was perfectly poured and tasted amazing. But what really made my visit stand out was the friendly staff. They were welcoming, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a good pint. Visited yesterday for our son's 40th. Our party of 12 received excellent service as usual. The food, as always, was piping hot and if the highest standard. The children enjoyed watching the planes in this great family friendly venue. Thank you to all.

Lovely pub near Manchester Airport. Went here for some drinks so can't say anything about the food. Pub has lovely interiors and plenty of outdoor seating and parking. As it's close to the airport, you can also partly watch some planes descend. Price wise, can be a bit pricey as we had a pint of beer and an Espresso Martini and paid around £15.

Much improved on last visit. Badly undercooked chips, fish was nice however, atmosphere good, staff cold mannered and uninterested, blackboard advert on site indicated puddings at £3 if ordered with fish but not valid. A poor experience and very disappointing from a returning customer. In reply to your response, the wording was on the chalkboard stating "today's puddings, " its in the window near the entrance I suggest you have a look before clarifying further. I have also noticed a good few reviews regarding raw chips, just a suggestion but don't do chunky chips unless you know how to cook them.

A great local pub next door to Manchester Airport, nice to track the big bird on her on landing path. The food smelt lovely so next time we will dine. Lots of parking and internal seating, a slice of history.

We use this place a lot from work. Has a great range on the menu, staff are brilliant, and the food is great value. From a few of us to tables of 15, they've always managed to keep to the same level of service and standard. Best to book. Great place.

In with family Sat evening and told at 20.10 that all children to leave by 20.30. I questioned this and then was told it was 9pm. Quite unfriendly attitude for no reason

Really pleased we made the effort to walk here this evening - we didn't fancy any of the nearer options to the airport where we are staying. Delicious great quality food, limited but excellent vegetarian and vegan options and crumble to die for. Only 25 mins walk from the airport hotel we are staying at.

Great place to eat before going to the airport. Really nice decor, good food and if you can get seat by the window, you an watch planes. Only marked down on atmosphere because it was very quiet when we visited.

Delicious food and drinks. We got tea, latte, fish and chips, and steak and ale pie. Everything was really good. Left happy and full. And cheap prices. Friendly staff!

Not great service, once served no one checked If our food was okay, or checked if we wanted any more drinks. Dishes were not cleared away once we had finished eating and we had to go and ask for the bill. Food was okay.
