Been coming to the YS since 3 or so years now and the Coffee and Hot Chocolate are still smooth and excellent…coupled with the best Toasted Ham and Cheese in Oxfordshire it’s a wonderful combination. When you also consider the superb work they do in training youngsters with learning difficulties it’s truly a Cafe full of heart and soul, served by ever smiling Baristas. Can’t recommend it highly enough, money and time very well spent indeed !

Brilliant place. I’m not sure if I wish this was on the high street or not as it would probably be so popular, and in its current location it’s not too busy! I’ve had various cake / hot drink stops here and they have always been perfect. Great cafe. Thanks

I have written about the Yellow Submarine in Oxford, this one in Witney has same brilliant chartists as the one in Oxford and IMHO is very good for food and coffee, it is run by a very worthy charity. The staff and young volunteers you run this week in and week out are just outstanding, please do go along and this cafe ago you won't be disappointed.

This place offers some of the best coffee and cakes in Witney. The service is polite and friendly. Every time you eat or drink there you are also supporting their work to train and equip young adults with learning difficulties to transition into the workplace full time. Their trainees may even end up serving you. Amazing!!

If you want to wait 15 minutes for a cold coffee this is the place for you. Not much else to say about this crowded space with inefficient staff. Does not do the UE coffee brand any favours.

Now, I won't review this on false pretences, I know someone who works here but I am not biasing my review on this! I came in for coffee and a sandwich, and it was what I expected and more and at a good price! Now this cafe gives people who are unable to work full time for various reasons the opportunity to work (and hard) and give responsibility where this increases much needed confidence, social interaction and good old hard work! Will definitely come back next time I am around. Brilliant cafe! Also the honeycomb tiffin is a must!

I come to the cafe at least once a week with my family and we love it. The coffee is very high quality (I have a loyalty card) and the food is lovely, extremely good value and fresh. I can't fault this cafe and would recommend to everyone especially if you have little ones as its good quality without breaking the bank. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating well done!! 👍🏽

Project to help young adults with learning disabilities gain confidence and experience of a live working environment. Great food and great drinks, don't be put off that it's in the local leisure centre, it is open to the general public regardless of centre use. Do your self and your community a favour!

This cafe has taken over from a commercial venture in the leisure centre, and is so much better. It is partly run by young adults with learning disabilities, supervised by staff, and is a great place to go.They provide a good service and a variety of food and drink. It's a place to go and relax and enjoy the surroundings .

Love this place and all that it stands for. Great ethos, friendly service, delicious food and excellent prices. All it needs is a couple of sofas, some paper and crayons for the kids and some clever lighting to give it a cosier feel. Well done Yellow Submarine. We look forward to coming back!

Forget that this is a charity venture as it punches well above its weight and really will give the major coffee chains in Witney a run for its money. Firstly the coffee is really really good. The drinks are wonderfully supported by a fantastic array of yummy cakes that include such delights as cranberry and white chocolate tiffin, millionaires shortbread, coffee cake and much more. Panini's and packaged crisp nibbles are available for those with a less sweet tooth. The layout of the cafe is just as you would expect from any high street coffee shop. As mentioned above this is a charity venture that supports disabled young adults in the work place. They do a proper job and provide lovely friendly service. Other large brands in this sector would do well to take on board their example. This branch of the Yellow Submarine is tucked upstairs at the Windrush leisure centre. You don't have to be a member of the leisure centre to frequent the coffee shop. There is parking but as it is the leisure centre the parking can be very busy. The alternative is to park across the road in the, free, parking attached to Waitrose and then take the short walk for great coffee. Big tip to the managers behind this venture - you need to get some signs/ advertising outside to encourage passing trade. All in all I loved this experience and I will definitely be back for more visits

First timer and the experience was five stars all the way. I had the meaty breakfast which was brilliant and fresh and loads to eat. My daughter had the avocado on toast with a beautiful poached egg. Again it was excellent. We loved the decor and vibe of the cafe too. Service was superb and it really is dog friendly too. You must visit.

We went here to get a little desert as we have been to this cafe before and saw it had quite a good range of gluten free options. They didn’t have much left in stock so we were lucky to get what we got.The gluten free cookies were delicious, tasted really fresh and like they were homemade. Also the cake was really lovely too and tasty. They clearly list the allergens of the product on the screen protector thing behind the cakes. Also tell them about any allergies when ordering.I believe their menu is 100% vegan too.The toilets were really clean too.

We loved it. Perfection location and the quintessential English pub. Outstanding food and service and the ambiance, decor is so wonderful. The highlight of our Cotswolds trip. Near to Jeremy Clarksons new pub as well so this little area is the perfect spot for a weekend spent in the pub. Well done Swan.
