Had a really nice stay. Fab location, exceptionally clean rooms. Stayed for breakfast the next day and benefited from 20% off, would definitely stay again. Had dinner at the farmers dog that is a 10min drive away.

What a great gem in the heart of Burford, popped in for an early lunch and the food was outstanding, had the bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich on sourdough and it was a perfect blend of flavour leaving me satisfied and full. Would definitely recommend coming here just for that or the afternoon tea. Great staff and great food.

Cream tea~ It was delicious~~ I wanted to have more, but unfortunately I had a lot of tea left due to the tour schedule. Tea is delicious!! I wasn't able to eat it all because I was busy~! sorry! I like cream > strawberry jam!

We were visiting the Cotswolds and passed through Burford, we found this lovely tea room and I had a full breakfast, it was so tasty and they even provided gluten free toast! The staff were really lovely and helpful, what a great find. Thank you for great service. Highly recommend.

friendly service. the best scones jam and clotted cream that we had in england. soup was tasty. apparently the seating area in the garden is beautiful, which we missed out on. good street parking available. only issue was with the tea. although it tasted fine, there is only one type offered - english breakfast tea. and they were just tea bags (supermarket purchased?) dumped in the tea pot.

An ok tea place. Felt a bit chaotic. You have to order and pay at the till. A bit pricy for what it is really.

I had breakfast here. Pros: -Great location -Ultra cute cafe! -Pleasant to sit in -Warm scones Cons: -Cheap value brioche (other items on the menu might be nicer though) -Cream tea comes with semi skimmed milk not cream and tea bags are standard, not the nice ones Service I’d rate low because my tap water never came and you have to pay and order at the till and they bring you the food out. But the cafe is very cute! So nice to sit in, overall a pleasant experience and I would visit again.

A nice setting for "Cream Tea" during a visit to the Cotswolds. Tearooms were clean and bright. With 1 large scone either plain or with raisins + ample clotted cream and jam per serve with a pot of tea allowing 2 cups per person. There are also tables in a quiet courtyard or on the street. Very nice experience overall.

Called here on way home for the day. Beautiful place and what a delight sitting on the Main Street people watching. Really good prices and lots of easy going food which is what we wanted. Service great too. Only criticism was my cheese on toast could have done with grilling more but otherwise everything else was perfect ! Definitely recommend and although we didn’t go in the courtyard it looked stunning.

Rooms very small. Wardrobe immediately next to the bed, so bumped my head a few times. No table, so had to put my phone etc on the floor. Shower room so smalle I couldn't even step from door to shower without touching toilet or sink. Shower curtain kept sticking to your body.

Perfect for our I night stay. In the middle of the High Street, perfect location. We parked for free all day and night directly opposite. Room was small but had everything we needed, hairdryer, tea and coffee, private bathroom with shower, comfy bed, very clean. The only downside was that the accommodation faced the patio . Although there was a heavy curtain to provide privacy it was not ideal whilst changing for a wedding. There was a party of tourists having afternoon tea right outside our window.A net curtain would be preferable for privacy. However, this would not put off our staying there again. All staff were lovely, we had a 20% discount on a delicious ice-cream in the afternoon and again at a really tasty , large portioned breakfast.

This was our second time staying at priory tea rooms , the rooms are situated at the back of the tea room, in a little courtyard, They are small ,just enough room for a double bed small wardrobe and walk in shower bathroom , tv on the wall and tea and coffe making facilities. We only stayed 2 nights each time we came .You can have breakfast in the tea room at an extra cost but you get discount for staying there. All staff were lovely and friendly. Burford is a lovely medieval street lots of pubs ,tea rooms , some small art galleries and lots of old buildings, once you've spent the morning or afternoon wondering about ,theres not much more to do ,so we used it as a base for going out to other places .we went to Bourton on the water, slaughters end and upper slaughter all wirth a visit very pretty places .some of the photos are from our first visit at the end of December, the others are from a few days ago in june .

Excellent cafe at the bottom of the high street. Good atmosphere and service as well as excellent food at a reasonable price. Lorraine served us and was very helpful and friendly. Love their sandwiches and jacket potatoes and for after a piece of their good cake selection or ice creams. Best heated toilets in town. If someone has an issue with their food you should say straight away to be changed. Definitely recommend.

This tea room offers a good selection of sandwiches and baked potatoes, cream tea and afternoon tea which are all delicious. There is plenty of seating at the front of the tea room, and they also have some tables outside on the street if you prefer to sit outdoors. At the back, there is a charming little patio garden where you can enjoy your meal in a peaceful setting. One of the best things about this tea room is that it is dog-friendly. You can bring your furry friend along, and they will be welcome here. The staff are very nice and friendly, making you feel right at home. They provide excellent service and are always ready to help with a smile. Overall, this tea room is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you want to sit inside, outside on the street, or in the garden, you will find a comfortable spot, this tea room is definitely worth a visit.

For clarity two of us visited on our way back to Leamington from the Wildlife Park. An order for 2 x Baked Potatoes was placed, one with cheese, one with beans and cheese at £9.50 each. I had the one with beans and cheese. It arrived. The potato was undercooked. Why is this important to me. Well, apart from the obvious, I have little use of my right hand. So I prefer soft foods and expected such with the potato. My fellow diner had 2/3rds of hers but agreed undercooked. The dishes were collected and complaint noted and advised the kitchen would be told. And that was it, no partial refund,no apology. I would just say I was surprised. We'll not return but warn others. Buyer beware. Maybe they had an off day. Who knows.

The lady , whom I assumed is the owner, is extremely rude. I clearly ordered 1 slice of toast with avocado and bacon from her “additional items” , otherwise known as Alacart menu. The total was $5.60. She charged me an extra $6.00 and when questioned she raised her voice very rudely and loud , as to embarrass me, and said she charged me for a breakfast. She went on to create a scene for us so we agreed to just let it go. Then we were very last to be served, which I assume was very intentional. Many other nice places to eat in Buford. Save yourself the aggravation!!

Charming characterful hotel in the heat of Burford, just of the busy high street, and so peaceful. Lovely well renovated bedrooms with comfortable huge bed. Tea & coffee, water provided too. Spacious ensuite bathroom with large shower. Warm and cosy bar with three rooms. Big restaurant area with great food...if a tad pricey as 12.5% service charge added. Plenty of parking and a small garden with a terrace.

We went here to get a little desert as we have been to this cafe before and saw it had quite a good range of gluten free options. They didn’t have much left in stock so we were lucky to get what we got.The gluten free cookies were delicious, tasted really fresh and like they were homemade. Also the cake was really lovely too and tasty. They clearly list the allergens of the product on the screen protector thing behind the cakes. Also tell them about any allergies when ordering.I believe their menu is 100% vegan too.The toilets were really clean too.

First timer and the experience was five stars all the way. I had the meaty breakfast which was brilliant and fresh and loads to eat. My daughter had the avocado on toast with a beautiful poached egg. Again it was excellent. We loved the decor and vibe of the cafe too. Service was superb and it really is dog friendly too. You must visit.

My family were visiting for the weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday. The Terra Pizza were very accommodating - our order of 12 pizzas arrived at the agreed time and were all delicious. One of the pizza boxes had been decorated with birthday wishes which was a really nice touch. Thank you to Burak and the team for helping make my celebrations special.
