What an amazing resource this is and much needed, it is so good to be able to stop for refreshments in a friendly and welcoming environment. The menu is good and reasonably priced and the service is excellent This is the perfect venue, friendly and non intrusive but a listening ear if needed and the opportunity to meet others. Not everyone drives and having this cafe at the entrance is perfect for those coming on public transport or anyone just wanting a friendly Face and a drink hot meal or snack... Well done to the owner and staff.. North Tyneside council. This is a real asset and I hope it gets your continued support. Carol Mulrine

Popped in here earlier today after driving over from Liverpool for a friend's funeral at the adjacent Crematorium. Highlyrecommended. Lovely people, tea and cake. Will definitely be back to sample the vegetarian options. Paul Beachcroft

What a pleasant surprise we had on finding this small tea room located in a corner of the cemetery. We received a warm, friendly welcome from the staff. Lovely cup of tea/ coffee served in tea/coffee pots. We had breakfasts cooked to order, but, worth the wait. Lots of lovely cakes too. The staff were very informative about places of interest. One of the places Cullercoats we were lucky enough to catch sight of the dolphins today too.( thanks Jo) We’ll be back

What a lovely find. Attentive staff and nice choice of menu. No outside seating but given its location in the corner of the cemetery this not surprising. Will be back

I got in for the first time today and it was a very nice experience, albeit in a strange location! The staff were very friendly and it is nice and bright, though only a handful of tables. A good selection of food, both hot and cold. The prices were very reasonable. One to return to!

Visited this afternoon to have a coffee to warm up having walked from Whitley Bay. Found the staff friendly and efficient. The mince pies were delicious as we're the drinks. Highly recommended!

as the name implies it is a dog-friendly cafe for humans, they do an all-day breakfast and sandwiches also cakes, for dogs they do various dog treats and ice cream. they will also organise a doggie birthday party, ask them for details. there is a playpen for dogs

Beware as Google maps told us it was closed on Saturdays but it is open. It's a lovely bright space, comfortable for hours of chat without feeling you should leave! Good menu choices. Coffee was good. Friendly service. A great find!

A nice small cafe serving excellent coffee/tea and a handsome scone. The tables are arranged in an open square room in a functional way so it couldn't be described as cosy. But it's a pleasant enough place with very friendly staff. A little off the beaten track for Whitley Bay centre, but if you're in the area, it's worth stopping off.
