Yellow Coloured Cafe in Fife

The working lunch you provided was thoroughly enjoyed by all attendees. The selection of sandwiches and cakes went down well with a lovely addition of sausage rolls and pizza. A really good variety with all tastes catered for. I will certainly recommend yellow for future working lunches.

I was served by Daryl. She was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating of my wishes. Although early (8.15), ordering a full breakfast seemed no problem and she asked my preferences throughout the cooking process. I was served tea first (my choice) and then asked if I wished a top up when my breakfast arrived, which was really appreciated. Daryl chatted appropriately, checked I was warm enough and asked if the music 🎶 was at an appropriate level. The food was lovely, I felt well looked after, and very relaxed. Without being pushy, Daryl was well informed about the lovely cheesecakes on show and I forced myself (LOL) to take away a piece for later, which was delicious! Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend the Yellow Coloured Café.

Waited ages for bacon roll ..table dirty cleaned myself. Not good to see. Cakes looked amazing but once had roll just left.not returning

Went for lunch with my friend, it was colder inside than it was outside, when asked if they could put heating on was informed that it was, couldn’t get out of there quick enough, prices to high for what you get, won’t be going back there

Popped in for a simple lunch. Lucky to get a table as the place was busy. We had hot rolls and coffee. Food was freshly cooked and coffee was excellent. Friendly and efficient staff too which is important. Good trade in take away while we were there so clearly popular.

Stopped off with friends who were visiting me for a long weekend. The fruit scones were just out ofthe oven and were delicious. The hot chocolate was the best ive tasted for a long time along with plenty cream and marshmallows. The toilets were clean, staff were very friendly too. Will def visit again.

now visited twice, first time ok only one person at till, but service was ok and food ok second time we were told ten minutes wait which was fine, but after twenty five mins , nothing so went to counter to ask about delay only to be told by the lady that we had been told ten minutes and not very respectfully so just sat down again, when breakfast came tatty scone was thin and hard rest of breakfast was ok food was just ok, there were three people at counter but only one first time i visited and he did better on his own, maybe he should train the three ladies.

Very disappointed visit. Ordered the picky plate for my son and what arrived was stale cheese, stale biscuits in the dunker, off yoghurt and a cup of milk that my son drank from, said it tasted funny then proceeded to be sick 3 hours later. My baked potato was tough and the coronation chicken was made of chewy processed cheap chicken. The soft play was dirty and the sofas we were sat at had stains on the covers. The floor clearly hadn't been swept from the last customers. We used to like yellow cafe but I've no idea what has happened to it.

We visited this cafe for breakfast and we were shown to a table. On the menus it stated ‘please remain in your seat someone will be over to serve you.’ After nearly half an hour we asked if anyone was serving and was told on you have to order at the counter now, it changed this week! Well wouldn’t common sense tell you, you need to inform us of this when we come in. Now there was a huge queue at the counter, so we left. At that point it might have been decent to have just taken our order after knowing we’d been sat there for 30 mins. So we cannot comment on the taste of the food, although portions looked big but a bit over cooked, bacon and eggs very crispy looking. However, these might have been ordered like this but their cheesecake looked really good and would have like to have had a piece to take away.

Had our 1st cheesecake from here today & its was the best we have ever tasted. Delicious & very light, not stodgy or heavy like some other cheesecakes we have eaten from elsewhere. Definitely worth a try
