Yee Yum in East Renfrewshire

Went in for lunch and had the sweet and sour chicken and chilli honey shredded chicken. Both were amazing and came out piping hot! The staff couldn't of been more attentive and the place had a nice chill positive vibe! 10/10 would definitely recommend ✨️

Good & Bad. The salt n pepper chips are the best about plus the Chicken Chow Main & BBQ Ribs are lovely but a ALWAYS ASK FOR NO ONIONS & get them in my food so 🤢🤮 plus they put 2 much veg in trying 2 make it look nice but less is better or give the customer what they ask for. I have had several nice takeaways from Yee Yum but sadly the salt and pepper chilli chicken delivered last night was dry, overcooked and chewy. Disappointing

Excellent service, excellent price, excellent food. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Never had a bad meal yet. Always fresh and tasty

We use Yee Yum occasionally as our go to take away but last time I was disappointed with my usual Lemon Chicken as the chicken was not in the sauce, meaning the crispy chicken stayed crispy and went hard. Having to pay cash for food is annoying in this day and age.

Yee Yum's bento boxes are extremely good value for money (one £5-6 bento box = a full meal), and the food is very tasty – much better quality than your average Chinese take away. Service is also very friendly. The only problem, however, is that some of the tables are quite dirty, which is evidence that they aren't always cleaned after use. Apart from this slight hygiene issue, a great little Chinese cafe.

A friend recommended, and we will be ordering from here again.

Have tried lots of chinese around barrhead and sth. nitshill and this is our favourite. Curry and Satay are always delicious. Salt and chilli chips v good and the lunch bento boxes are great value too... keep up the great work.

Just had fried rice and curry sauce for lunch and it was exceptional .....

Had 2 carry out meals from here and was not impressed so tonight we gave it another go and we got our bento meal - ordered fried rice, black bean chicken and sweet n sour, what we actually got was Chips ( where’s the rice ? ) sweet n sour and chicken balls ( no black bean ) Now that was on both meals - how can you get this do wrong - don’t be back !!!!

Great takeaway meal - will be ordering again! Ordered from Yee Yum following the recommendation of others locally and glad we did - food was superb. We ordered the honey chilli chicken and peking beef and the beef in particular was outstanding. Had takeaways in the past that were far too vinegary and this simply wasn't the case. Would upload a photo too but food was too delicious for me to remember before eating it. Highly recommend.

I placed a order lastnight of £30.80 Beef with black bean sauce.. Terrible Beef onion... Terrible 1 breast chicken chopped I asked for extra hot and it was absolutely disgusting. Breast chicken chopped with fried rice. The rice was spongy and disgusting. The chips were hard aswell defos stay away from this place.

Was a pleasant lunchtime meal .had a bento box which was a beef curry chips and rice very nice and a portion of salt and chilli chicken wings they were lovely all for under 8 pounds
