L'Arco takeaway in East Renfrewshire

11.00 down the bin haddock supper bought 6.25 live 5 mins away from shop had to put in the microwave to heat I don’t like cold food this has happened few times this year will never be back

Been waiting 1 hour 15minutes still not here never ordering again

Just OK. We use to be regulars here takeaway and delivery but not been using Larco for a while now. We thought last night give it another go but unfortunately just not as good as it use to be . Unfortunately last time for us.

Food left in bin till hard then was a fight to get it changed for a fresh one with soggy batter couldn't be bothered complaining again will never be back

Vile. Ordered on an early Sunday evening. Service was fast, but that’s due to the obvious fact that the stale chips I received have been sitting under a heat lamp all day. Clearly no sense of pride in the food they are selling. Avoid

Great place! I dropped one star on food only because it's not always the best I know it can be but the staff are all very friendly and they treat their regulars very well! Definitely the best chippy in the area!

Had chips on Friday and they were awful reheated and flat disgusting disappointed wont get again.

Always very good , we won’t go to any other chippy . They are top notch . If ordering at weekend expect delivery time bit longer , but always worth the wait .

Food is always amazing, doesn't matter what you order! Delivery is usually pretty fast, always on time but mostly early, even at busy times. Staff are lovely and super helpful. Highly recommend.

Just had an amazingly good special fish and chips super. Previously I had been going to a suposedly highly regarded chipy in Giffnock but have been disappointed with noth the quality and price. Very pleasantly surprised with L'arco and not had it this good since I went to Crail. Keep up the good work!

Go to takeaway shop for years, food is delicious and fresh every time. Shop is spotless and staff are so polite! Can’t fault L’arco atall!!

Order from here every week and yet to be disappointed, burgers and Donner wraps mainly but also enjoy the more traditional fry options, including the occasional cheeky haggis supper.

Got a chicken supper not cooked in the middle blood pouring out Raw and was told by a girl on the phone who was rude that’s how they cooked them in like that Well cook them probaly or you will have a bad case of food poisoning on your door got my money refunded and had the cheek to refund just the supper short changed by a £1 never go there rotten and couldn’t deal with the complaint it’s Indian that owns it .

Chicken Pakora was awful Burnt batter and chicken was like cardboard. Usually great so disappointed 😞

I ordered 2 meals at 5:30pm on Saturday 15/10/22. I phoned one hour later and was told the meals were on their way. I phoned again after another half hour and was told the same thing. I was then offered 15% off my next order, which I declined. I was offered free delivery which I accepted. The meals were both cold. I would not recommend this takeaway.

Delicious meal. There was a slight hiccup when ordering through the app, which led to a delay in our delivery but once I phoned, it was quickly sorted and a fresh, hot meal was sent out to us. Will definitely order again. Thank you.

Brilliant. Take away was well cooked and delicious. Staff very friendly and obviously they were doing there best re covid to prevent infection spreading. I want to go back and try a sit-in next time. An absolute gem of a place.

Mum ordered special fish. Got battered instead which she hates. Called in to request replacement and they offered to replace IF WE PAID. Absolute joke.

10 pound for a fish supper !this will be my last not paying that ever again no chance madness to put that into perspective i could get a pizza kebab and a portion a chips up the road for a 10er

If your looking for a fast delivery your better using Hermes. We have ordered food 3 times from this takeaway and each delivery has taken nearly 2 hours. We live 1 mile away. The food is stone cold and bland. Don't use if you can avoid it.

Just got my Saturday night take away from l'arco 20/11/21. Waited half an hour for collection. Food was cold. I had a calzone and chicken pakora and my son a cheeseburger meal . Everything was disgusting to use a 10 year olds words. Really disappointing, waste of £20 won't be back

Best pizzas about and kebabs are quality.

We have ordered from here a few times now and they food is excellent! A wee bit further than we would usually travel for food but definitely worth it. Staff were friendly, and super efficient 👌 pizza was amazing 🍕

Very cheeky and rude manager. Won't be back. I have been a customer for years despite being told by the manager over the phone that I had never ordered from them before. No way to run a business. Plenty of other chip shops around.

Food delivered - 2 suppers and in both the chips were inedible. Hard and crispy so they went in the bin. Fish and king rib were fine but would have been better ordering singles. Also chips and curry sauce and the chisp were just the same

I've been staying in Glasgow for 7 years now, and there was one thing lacking........I'm originally from the South East Coast and my brother from another mother has a fishNchip restaurant. So I've not , until NOW found a Proper fishNchip restaurant ........L'ARCO in Barrhead its so spot on it makes a leopard /Giraffe and my 14 year old face look spotless. L'Arco is SPOT ON real fishNchips, oh and the usual 3in1 blah blah label.......but you gotta go for the fishNchips. Yup😁 its the dugs dangles, the gnats nuts, the bees knees , the cheque was actually in the post etc. Okayyyyyy my son had a battered pizza but he was very young when we moved here so he has fully assimilated 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. I drive 12 miles because I found the best kebab place when I stayed in Hamilton but I'm in Barrhead now and get L'ARCO delivered, if I move away ill drive just to be able to get Proper fish and chips.

Ordered two Special fish suppers, which although tasted fairly good, resembled a car crash in presentation ! I’d have thought at the high prices charged they’d at least get the presentation and food temperature correct !

The pizzas are are delicious with bold flavours however they are really heavy and filling 2 slices of the 16" and your full

We love larco always order from them. Tonight we ordered our food and when the salad and sauce section came up on just eat there was no way of asking for salad and sauce to be separate so. I wrote it in the comments part of the order and paid for it online with my card. Upon arrival the delivery driver said we had to pay him 2 quid and wouldn't give us the food as we had asked for salad and sauce separate. We didn't have the mo ey on us so had to raid change jars and drawers int he hosue to gather the money to pay for the food we had already paid for. It should be the resteraunts job to give us an option to pay for separate stuff on the app not wait till its delivered then ask us for the money. Don't get me wrong their food is lovely amazing food but that was wrong

Totally love this place!!! Always eat here on my way home from work. THey have such a great menu I never get bored. Have to say my favourite is the Fish but the pizza and kebab are excellent
