Nice place. A lot less chavy than the other pubs either side of it.

We spotted this place after a look around Weston. My partner liked the look of the menu so we grabbed a drink from the polite bar staff. I wasn’t sure after quickly checking reviews but they certainly didn’t match the experience we received. The pub itself was clean & tidy. The staff were polite, helpful and approachable. The menu was fab, it was actually hard to choose as such good choice. In the end we both went for a burger which was AMAZING. The food was hot, well presented and fresh. I even ended up having a dessert!! Don’t read the negative reviews go in and try! We will be going there again when we next visit.

The food order was incomplete when it arrived. Gammon steak was missing onion rings and pineapple. Scampi was missing tartare sauce. We asked about this and they brought ONE onion ring and a sad looking slice of pineapple, and the tartare sauce appeared at the end of the meal. The staff seemed to pay more attention to the home delivery service than us.

One large room with music being piped through and quite a lot of TVs with sport being shown. Usual tap beers and a couple of real ales available. Food served here and children welcome. Staff were friendly and polite. Beer was good. Enjoyed my visit.

Went there as they advertised a three day celebration of St Patrick's Day. There was no evidence of any celebrations. We were told that due to supply issues, there was a very limited menu and a wait time of 45 minutes, so we had one quick drink and then left. Not very pleasant aroma in the pub, and the toilets left a lot to be desired. Very unlikely to return.

Have been going here for the last 5 yrs. 6 Nations, Cup Finals, general weekendd away and have always had a great time. The standard has dropped so much. Let's start with glasses being cleaned out at sink and then reused, running out of food, no crisps, only two members of staff on during Super Saturday until later in afternoon and they were having to sort out food as well. The men's toilets were leaking then they were shut for a period of time as they were blocked it was not a good site. The staff did there best but they have also been let down by the owners. It's a shame as myself and our party have had many good times here. They need to sort it out. Will think twice before going back or recommending to anyone else.

We had a voucher and had the set menu. Took 15 mins to be given the menu as barman unsure what menu for us to choose from. Possibly 6 main meals but told no steaks. No jacket potato although on main menu and told none cooked. One of us had a burger and I had gammon from main menu. My gammon and chips both overcooked, peas discoloured and hard. Onion rings ok. Dessert choice of 4. We ordered sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie. We were assured all desserts in stock. 10 mins later I was told no sticky toffee! So decided on cheesecake. Brownie over cooked/ defrosted too long. Then coffee ordered. It arrived but looked like hot milky water. It was replaced. It wasn't a busy pub ( maybe 8 people in total) and no one else eating on arrival. Total length of time in there 1 HR 50 MIN Manager accommodating.

I guess the phone call it was way much important than the customers, one of the members of your staff made ys wait for 10 mins before we got served,actually we didn't even get served, u can say what ever but that was rude,we gave up and went elsewhere, you improved with new management but still the same goes, useless staff

Everytime we have visited this place it is freezing to the point you have to wear your coat inside! We have eaten here and the chips were what we would describe as frozen microwave chips, the burger was like something you would get from Iceland and the hunters chicken had a fake American cheese sauce on it instead of the usual cheddar you would expect. We ordered on the app to get a drink as the bar was really busy and the service is so slow. After waiting a while I decided to go to the bar to get a drink and order some food as our drink hadn't turned up. The guy behind the bar seemed shocked when I said we had ordered a drink on the app as if they didn't know the app existed. Shocking service, toilets are filthy as always! Would not return here if you paid me.

Called here to watch the rugby and have a pint or two the 1st pint was good then 2nd like ditch water so I asked for a replacement which went against the grain but had a tidy replacement my wife had a pot of tea with no lid on the pot & brown sugar 🤢 only sweetener was the other option we ordered pie and mash but opened the pie to find it empty except for a gravy stain on the base, didn't bother to complain as we thought it would fall on deaf ears. So I won't bother coming back. Had a great Sunday roast in the tavern in the town for £10 brilliant

As soon as we walked in the place smelt musty! We thought of going somewhere else but found a place away from the worst of it! We decided to order on the app...that was our 2nd bad choice!! We had all of our breakfast & still no drinks so my husband went to the bar only to be told that drinks don't register on the app! Wtf?! Nowhere did it say that!!! 😤

Half the staff are rude and takes afes to get a drink even when quite, constantly dirty toilets. Sick on chairs can't serve drinks in correct glasses you get cider or larger in an ale glass. Say that the fish is fresh but its frozen half the time poor experience all over

Great place, great atmosphere, great staff, amazing DJ Paul on a Saturday night, playing all mixture of sing along old school cheesy classics, having the whole room singing along!

Another rendition of a bar to nightclub establishment. Good vibes when you cross the threshold past the security. People chating while having a drink until the DJ kicks in, and then they shout at each other to be heard. Standard drinks at the bar, but I'm a whiskey drinker, and it's the same old selection, Jack or Jamesson. Then comes a plastic cup to drink it. I liked the booths with your own tv screen that was convenient to watch the second half of the rugby league grand final. Another whiskey in a plastic cup served by a polite young man and then the whistle blows, and the DJ kicks in. Time to leave, I'm more of a bar than a nightclub kinda of guy, and 2 whiskeys in a plastic container is all I can take. This was the beach race weekend, so I guess they were expecting a ruckus crowd, so I'll just drop them 1 star for plastic gate.

First time here. Was a quiet morning. Food was nice. Bar staff seem a little confused when ordering. Wanted to make a changes to a sandwich as my son is lactose intolerant , she looked at me like I had gone crazy but lucky enough she order came out correct. Thumbs up 👍

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great fresh clean establishment. Drinks were reasonably priced and couldn't fault the facilities. If we end up back in WSM we definitely would go back!!

Didn't get food order right. Waitress cam and asked if we had food we shouldn't as food missing. Booked a table for a family of 11, and they placed us on 3 separate tables. Ordered food and drinks on the app, food came but no drinks, waitress said we had to collect from the bar!! Bar tender said yeah we don't like the app!! Not enough staff, long queue at bar

My friends and I went to the Regent for Taylor Swift bottomless brunch. Everything was amazing, we rarely had went without having a drink, food was delicious and music was amazing. Really stuck to the theme and played all Taylor music and took suggestions from customers. The service was absolutely amazing, I didn’t pick up her name but she was very attentive and always coming to check if we wanted more drinks. I would definitely come again. I want to say thank you to Steph and Sophie for planning such an amazing night, I will remember it forever. Thank you so much to them and everyone at the Regent

First of all, the staff was very nice and friendly. You can only order at the table online. Unfortunately there is no reception in the restaurant and the WiFi does not work. You have to enter all your personal data when registering, but at the latest when you enter the postal code from Germany, it will not be accepted.

Popped in for dinner and it was lovely. Staff were amazing so happy and friendly. Food was delicious I had the cheeseburger with chips and it was great. Highly recommend. 👌👌👌👌

Was there on Saturday 13th July for the first time. Had the mac and cheese burger and chips. What a great burger loved every mouth full. The place was full but the service was great.

We enjoyed our time at Weston Super-Mare this week. The Regent pub became our regular drinking hole as the staff were very friendly, especially CJ. They serve John Smith’s beer which is very welcome!! The food is also delicious. It is clean and has nice decor with lots of screens to watch the sports. We had the curries and steak. Highly recommend this venue.

Dear Sue I am writing in connection to a terrible situation I had encountered on Friday 28th June with a few of my friends as I wanted to enjoy my birthday drinks how ever the manager who was on duty was extremely rude and aggressive towards me as I questioned about particular prices as I had paid a different price to the last order. He commented that I do this every time, to which I have never been here before since opening and this is his duty to adhere to queries that the customer may have in according to a query no matter how often. Customer service is vital in this industry and bad publicity is not appropriate as I work for a local newspaper and I will be expressing my opinion to them about what I had encountered Sarah

I had placed an order for the burger bar, The food had come an hour after it was supposed to be delivered, I had specifically put on the delivery notes not to have certain items on the food because of allergies but this was ignored by the kitchen and still put on the burgers. Additionally, I paid for cheesy chips and onion rings because they ran out. I should have been reimbursed the money or offered an alternative similar to the price I paid for. I called the restaurant and made a complaint where I was told just to contact Just Eat as they weren't going to do anything about this despite messing up. I am now left with no food for my child. Absolutely disgusting service.

Visited on Saturday 16th June around lunch time. Very happy with the service and one of my sons had an excellent medium rare steak 🥩. The last few he's had in other places haven't been cooked very well. I had a veggie breakfast - very nice. I found out afterwards that it had just reopened after a major refurbishment - and possibly new management? Staff were very friendly - and coping well with a new till system (I think there were some teething issues). Recommended!

Worst Yates I've been in. Food came out wrong, guy serving was rude, unhelpful & uninterested. The manager was more helpful but honestly the food wasn't great, the atmosphere was lacking & I wouldn't return.

Bar tender made us buy 2 more drinks as he misunderstood the free drink on the mixr app, on the whole everything was okay however struggled to get home as unfortunately had to spend more for his mistake.

Ordered a mixed grill with extra egg and mushrooms, received food but instead of gammon received back bacon, mushrooms put through the microwave, didn't receive the extra egg paid for, spoke to a cocky condensation 27 Yr old supposedly manager to be informed that he knew more than my 36yrs experience in the catering and hospitality trade, so in short he lost a very large group booking for the Sunday due to poor attitude and lack of knowledge back bacon is not GAMMON!!!!!!!

Atrocious! Filthy furniture, filthy toilets, sinks and floors. Kids running around and staff clueless. Will not return to spend my hard earned. If I could give zero stars I would.

Disappointed the food was bad , I had soup which came with a limp piece of bread the bowl wasn't even half full . My friend had the breakfast again disappointing the toast was stale looked like the previous days warmed up, portions small . All in all not good value. Would not return.

Popped in for a pint with some freinds on a Wednesday evening. Very quiet but pub nice and clean. Quck service. Internet useless and no phone signal. Strange these days.

Well what can I say, we booked a table for 5pm on Friday 10th November for 9 people. 3 staff and 6 adults with learning disabilities. When booking we were told that it would be busy, due to the Weston Carnival, we knew this as we were attending this event, hence why we booked somewhere to eat. On entering it was busy and there were 3 members of staff behind the bar, we were shown to our table, looked through the menu and went to the bar to order food and drinks, this being now 5 10. We were told there was a 45 minute wait on food, which was understandable due to the it being so busy. We waited and food seem to go out, but literally in 1 or 2 plates at a time to other tables. Our 1st meal was delivered to our table at 6.15 and then it was 1 or 2 plates every 10 minutes. Our last meal was delivered to our table at 7.05, we spoke to the manager a couple of times and were just fobbed off with we're busy, as it the carnival. Maybe more staff in the kitchen would have helped. (We even thought about going and cooking our own meals, would have been quicker). The carnival is a well publicised event. Will i be returning NO
