Very busy, football on, great atmosphere

My wife and I tried out the blue cheese burger meal and a pint at lunchtime, when we were in WSM. Reassuringly affordable.

Tasty food at a good price, friendly service.

First time here. Was a quiet morning. Food was nice. Bar staff seem a little confused when ordering. Wanted to make a changes to a sandwich as my son is lactose intolerant , she looked at me like I had gone crazy but lucky enough she order came out correct. Thumbs up 👍

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great fresh clean establishment. Drinks were reasonably priced and couldn't fault the facilities. If we end up back in WSM we definitely would go back!!

Didn't get food order right. Waitress cam and asked if we had food we shouldn't as food missing. Booked a table for a family of 11, and they placed us on 3 separate tables. Ordered food and drinks on the app, food came but no drinks, waitress said we had to collect from the bar!! Bar tender said yeah we don't like the app!! Not enough staff, long queue at bar

Service was awful ,being a bank holiday you would think they would have more staff must of waited about 15 minutes to get served only 2 people serving

My friends and I went to the Regent for Taylor Swift bottomless brunch. Everything was amazing, we rarely had went without having a drink, food was delicious and music was amazing. Really stuck to the theme and played all Taylor music and took suggestions from customers. The service was absolutely amazing, I didn’t pick up her name but she was very attentive and always coming to check if we wanted more drinks. I would definitely come again. I want to say thank you to Steph and Sophie for planning such an amazing night, I will remember it forever. Thank you so much to them and everyone at the Regent

First of all, the staff was very nice and friendly. You can only order at the table online. Unfortunately there is no reception in the restaurant and the WiFi does not work. You have to enter all your personal data when registering, but at the latest when you enter the postal code from Germany, it will not be accepted.

Popped in for dinner and it was lovely. Staff were amazing so happy and friendly. Food was delicious I had the cheeseburger with chips and it was great. Highly recommend. 👌👌👌👌

We enjoyed our time at Weston Super-Mare this week. The Regent pub became our regular drinking hole as the staff were very friendly, especially CJ. They serve John Smith’s beer which is very welcome!! The food is also delicious. It is clean and has nice decor with lots of screens to watch the sports. We had the curries and steak. Highly recommend this venue.

Was there on Saturday 13th July for the first time. Had the mac and cheese burger and chips. What a great burger loved every mouth full. The place was full but the service was great.

Love the new refurb , staff are lovely and welcoming and the food was delicious would recommend a visit.

Dear Sue I am writing in connection to a terrible situation I had encountered on Friday 28th June with a few of my friends as I wanted to enjoy my birthday drinks how ever the manager who was on duty was extremely rude and aggressive towards me as I questioned about particular prices as I had paid a different price to the last order. He commented that I do this every time, to which I have never been here before since opening and this is his duty to adhere to queries that the customer may have in according to a query no matter how often. Customer service is vital in this industry and bad publicity is not appropriate as I work for a local newspaper and I will be expressing my opinion to them about what I had encountered Sarah

I had placed an order for the burger bar, The food had come an hour after it was supposed to be delivered, I had specifically put on the delivery notes not to have certain items on the food because of allergies but this was ignored by the kitchen and still put on the burgers. Additionally, I paid for cheesy chips and onion rings because they ran out. I should have been reimbursed the money or offered an alternative similar to the price I paid for. I called the restaurant and made a complaint where I was told just to contact Just Eat as they weren't going to do anything about this despite messing up. I am now left with no food for my child. Absolutely disgusting service.

Visited on Saturday 16th June around lunch time. Very happy with the service and one of my sons had an excellent medium rare steak 🥩. The last few he's had in other places haven't been cooked very well. I had a veggie breakfast - very nice. I found out afterwards that it had just reopened after a major refurbishment - and possibly new management? Staff were very friendly - and coping well with a new till system (I think there were some teething issues). Recommended!

The refurb is amazing, there is something for everyone on the menu! Food was incredible, and the staff were all very attentive and friendly, would defo recommend a visit!!

Worst Yates I've been in. Food came out wrong, guy serving was rude, unhelpful & uninterested. The manager was more helpful but honestly the food wasn't great, the atmosphere was lacking & I wouldn't return.

Bar tender made us buy 2 more drinks as he misunderstood the free drink on the mixr app, on the whole everything was okay however struggled to get home as unfortunately had to spend more for his mistake.

Had lunch there yesterday, dirty coffee cups. Had all day breakfast and the eggs were black and greasy!

Ordered a mixed grill with extra egg and mushrooms, received food but instead of gammon received back bacon, mushrooms put through the microwave, didn't receive the extra egg paid for, spoke to a cocky condensation 27 Yr old supposedly manager to be informed that he knew more than my 36yrs experience in the catering and hospitality trade, so in short he lost a very large group booking for the Sunday due to poor attitude and lack of knowledge back bacon is not GAMMON!!!!!!!

Atrocious! Filthy furniture, filthy toilets, sinks and floors. Kids running around and staff clueless. Will not return to spend my hard earned. If I could give zero stars I would.

Disappointed the food was bad , I had soup which came with a limp piece of bread the bowl wasn't even half full . My friend had the breakfast again disappointing the toast was stale looked like the previous days warmed up, portions small . All in all not good value. Would not return.

Staff were polite & happy. We didn't have food. Toilets were dirty & disgusting 🫣 very smelly as well.not good.

If you don't mind loud groups of drunken youngsters, then it's great. To be fair, the food was better than expected, and Bar service was excellent

Popped in for a pint with some freinds on a Wednesday evening. Very quiet but pub nice and clean. Quck service. Internet useless and no phone signal. Strange these days.

Well what can I say, we booked a table for 5pm on Friday 10th November for 9 people. 3 staff and 6 adults with learning disabilities. When booking we were told that it would be busy, due to the Weston Carnival, we knew this as we were attending this event, hence why we booked somewhere to eat. On entering it was busy and there were 3 members of staff behind the bar, we were shown to our table, looked through the menu and went to the bar to order food and drinks, this being now 5 10. We were told there was a 45 minute wait on food, which was understandable due to the it being so busy. We waited and food seem to go out, but literally in 1 or 2 plates at a time to other tables. Our 1st meal was delivered to our table at 6.15 and then it was 1 or 2 plates every 10 minutes. Our last meal was delivered to our table at 7.05, we spoke to the manager a couple of times and were just fobbed off with we're busy, as it the carnival. Maybe more staff in the kitchen would have helped. (We even thought about going and cooking our own meals, would have been quicker). The carnival is a well publicised event. Will i be returning NO

Cheap pub, sticky tables and floor

Can't knock it. Great pint, good hot food and a decent selection. TVs with various sports on.

Early doors so quite empty. Good selection of drinks and reasonably priced.

2 full breakfasts, plates were unclear, food was over cooked, sausages despite been on the menu weren't, eggs tasted like they were cooked yesterday or earlier, portions were small for what was paid, extra toast never arrived and service was slow. I would have made a complete there and then if was on my own but was out with family. All I can say is breakfast was worse than Witherspoon. I won't be coming back and if I meet any one I know who is coming to western Super Mare i will be recommending they go and eat in the bins as it will be more appetising. The only thing to be said the burgers were ok.

Not been for many years. It was a lot quieter than I was expecting. I guess its a sign of the times.

We had good service and food was scampi and chips and jacket potato with cheese

One of the worst pubs/res I have been to. The service was slow, it took more than 30mins to receive food. My chosen table was dirty and sticky. When I looked at other tables they where also dirty. I asked a server to clean it and she said it was dirty because it was the most popular table (the pub/restaurant was not full, by any means) and tables should be cleaned after a customer leaves as standard. The food was standard pub grub and tasted ok until the next morning when my son and I where sick due to something we had eaten. As this was the last thing we ate and how unhygienic the restaurant was, I would definitely say it was something we ate from here.

I'm sorry to say this was the first and last time I would visit here, I cant fault the staff they were lovely but... the tables, were very sticky, they were that bad I asked a member of staff to clean them for us, the food menus, were all sticky aswell, with food on them, and the toilets were absolutely discusting, the food was average nothing special at all.

Called in here late in the day , just for coffee , not very busy, good job because not many staff around , the bar was deserted waited a few minutes to get served. The coffee was of a good standard but had to ask for demerara sugar. Plenty of screens to watch that evenings sport. Will call in again.

Was over whelmed with the quality of customer service, The staff went above and beyond and we're very helpful and polite and made the manic day of taking the kids to the beach a breeze. The manager "Matt" I belive was amazing. Only poped in for a drink and ended up staying for food after ten minutes, you really don't get service like this anymore. Would spend the hour on the train just for this service all over again.

Worst food I have ever had in my life almost raw chicken greasy totally disgusting and the toilets are filthy poo all over the place and stinks of urine and poo will NEVER go there again AVOID AVOID needs shutting down

Fast service but the toilets were diabolical. For families to come and have a drink/ food, toilets need to be clean. There was poo all up the toilet (including on the seats), urine was everywhere and even the taps were covered in limescale. This was both male & female. Most of the female toilets were out of order. Need to take more care and pride in your company and your hygiene standards.

Had one drink here whilst on a short break. Didn't eat. The toilets were disgusting. There was a smell of sewage and 5 toilets were out of order. Only one toilet had toilet paper. The sinks were dirty , the floors dirty a very poor experience. Glad I didn't eat here Drinks overpriced

I've never set foot in the place before today but found the entire team amazing. Great drinks and food delivered with excellent service. I may well return!

Not been there for several years,ìmpressed with it now.Had grandchildren with me,food excellent and great value, would recommend and definitely visit Yates the next time I'm in Weston.
