Poor food bad language from other bar management very rude not a child friendly place worst meal ever

The food here is absolutely amazing and as our local we come every week sometimes twice !! . The atmosphere is great and the staff especially Vic and Stacey make every visit special . Our food is cooked specially to our requirements and it is no problem for the wonderful chefs to make every visit an absolutely lovely experience.

Very friendly welcoming staff, weather was chilly despite being end of may and they put the heating on to make us more comfortable. The food was hot, beautifully presented and very tasty. My husband enjoyed the home made burgers and cask pulled doom bar bitter. We also had a dessert each which were both delicious. Great choice of food available too. Nice ambience, comfy chairs (extremely important to me) . We’re lucky this is our ‘local’, highly recommended to any passing through our village.

Went with family today aged from 88 to 4 year old . Excellent service amazing food and a good pint of Guinness. The steak and Guinness pie was unreal and others said same of desperate Dan pies . The rest also enjoyed their meals .

A group of 20 ladies enjoyed our pre-Christmas lunch here and could not fault anything. Lovely food and very friendly and helpful staff.

We have used the Yarborough Arms on many occasions and always had excellent service and food. However, the customer service and staff on the phone are rude and aggressive and we will not be frequenting again as this could be a sign of a lack of customer service within the business.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here this week. The service was spot, the food was beautifully cooked and presented, and we especially appreciated the sensible (and perfectly adequate) portion style. So many pubs these days are sacrificing quality for quantity, but not this one. A great selection of drinks as well as a menu that offers plenty of choice. Our first visit and we'll be back.

I visited this place a few days ago I was told it was expensive but good food I went in the bar to be faced with the local bar flys that would not move from the bar . So as not to cause a scene I went in the lounge As I waited patiently , a guy approached the bar and asked for a menu from the girl behind the bar ,,,,,, I was invisible at this point, once she gave him the menu she had no choice I got eye contact and ask for a pint of lager shandy please and a menu She pulled the pint and told me I have to spend £5 min if I’m paying by card I said put it all on the bill when I order food She said oh your eating ? Yes I said when I get a menu She then said she would have to check with the chef to see if he had time to do my order that I had not ordered yet , remember the other guy that asked and got a menu , he got in and she said none of this to him I challenged her and told her to stick the menu and the shandy I walked out very disgraceful I hope everyone read this and stops going to your over priced pub !!!!!!

Have been several times and never disappointed with my meal. Very friendly and helpful staff for whom nothing is too much! Only pick the Desperate Dan pie if you are very very hungry! What a plate full!
