Best restaurant in alderley great food, Irfan and the rest of the hospitality team are incredible, and it’s BYOB so what more do you need to know?!

Excellent food And impeccable service. So friendly and lovely brilliant to dine in or as a takeaway. Consistently good meals whether dining in or out and the staff go out of there way to make you comfortable. Highly recommend

The staffs arent professional in Alderly edge. they were rude, they didn’t ask that we want to keep our plate and continue to eat or not ! We order whisky, they served it in vodka glass and when we asked for change the glasses they said we have just wine glass! Food was underrated, meat was smelling and not good marinated. It was a bad experience and never trying again.

Our favourite restaurant never disappoints! We have visited twice in the last month, once as a couple and once as a family. The food is delicious every time we visit. The service is great and the staff are all really welcoming, we would highly recommend visiting.

We had booked for 6, when we got there we initially were taken upstairs on our own, then another group of 6 came up (who had booked) few minutes later they went back downstairs. after a while we went looking for the waiter, they seemed short staffed and he suggested that we could move back downstairs with the rest when a table was emptied ain 10 mins, which we did. The atmosphere downstairs was good. The starters were good but I was surprised at my moussaka as there was masses of sauce and not that much aubergine. The others had loads of meat so I had some of that with my meal. The main problem for me was that it was quite late by the time we got any food and if I had been with my husband I would of left when we were upstairs and not being attended. I may well try it another night to see what happens then, but order something different.

Went for Sunday lunch with family. Lovely service, excellent food, large portions great fresh flavours, will keep going back.

I was at an orchestra workshop at the Festival Hall. We had a lunch break and we went to Yara. The food and service were top-notch. There are some nice vegetarian options on the menu.

Fantastic place we eat there every three weeks, and always allows us to sit without having to book as we are early birds, we go around 6m PM, but always welcoming and the manager is the best around very welcoming and accommodating, we get served very quickly and the food is always hot and delicious, unbelievably yummy.

Another fabulous night at Yara. A very busy lively vibe with plenty of lovely people all having a great time. There were 4 of us and we had kebabs, veg stew and Mousaka...as well as starters which I can never spell very well so I'll just say they were lovely. The staff are always super helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They have great advise and recommendations. If you haven't been recently ..can't recommend it enough. Food excellent....service excellent! We go almost weekly...always great.

Excellent food and very friendly knowledgeable staff. Lebanese wine really good meze type starter which was very tasty followed by a trio of kebabs. Best I've ever had, tender and flavoursome. Actually hD ground decaff coffee that tasted like coffee not weak dishwater. Went there rather than airport hotel and will be going again for creation holiday.

Never disappoints. Variety of options for starters and mains. For starters would recommend hummus, halloumi, chicken wings. Mains would recommend any meat dish but chicken sharhat and chicken damas are top. Affordable pricing and friendly staff.

Watch for the bill : we had some coffees sneaked in to your long bill. Not sure it was an honest mistake or a strategy of the restaurant. Otherwise food is OK, pretty simple, but good for the price.

I went to Yara's for the first time, was worried after having read a few mixed reviews but thought I'd take the chance. We ordered one starter and two mains. My wife is vegetarian so ordered spinach. The food was amazing. The service was great and in particular a gentleman called Irfan made us feel welcomed. Definately will return again.

Spoke to owners and there response was a discounted mel to compensate us… really….. went to yara this evening to talk face to face as it’s totally unacceptable to have my child so poorly on her birthday…. Owner thought it was acceptable to pull a huge bundle of cash out of his pocket and offer me £15 compensation from our £200 bill Discusting attitude and terrible place to visit… offered me £50 in the end… this was nothing to do with money for us! More that fact that they made my daughter and other member of the party extremely poorly on a birthday celebration They should be ashamed… don’t flash your cash and think because u have your staff around you so that you can treat customers with utter contempt Awful place never visit again and have reported to environmental health

Yara is the greatest restaurant on earth. It is delicious, amazing, incredible and sublime. The chicken sharhat has been sent from heaven itself. The food is consistently incredible. Just simply a treat.

Very well looked after and food/wine as good as it has ever been. Excellent lamb sharhat and house red wine in particular. We keep returning - what’s not to like?!

We arrived having booked a table for Saturday evening for our family, I was slightly concerned to be the only people seated in the restaurant upon arrival, nevertheless we sat down and ordered our food. Starters arrived, Sujok and halloumi, Sujok we left as it wasn’t nice didn’t think much of it just a little disappointed, we then ordered chicken shawarma, lamb shawarma and their mixed kebab to share… well after trying a little of each not only did it all taste the same it was disgusting, yes I know that’s a strong word but its the only word to describe the food. We left it all and requested the bill. Not once by anyone was we asked “is everything ok” “is there a reason you’ve left all three meals” just given the bill, we paid and left, a couple of hours later both myself and my son had severe stomach cramps into the night. On reflection we should have thought more about the restaurant being empty on a Saturday evening, needless to say we wouldn’t recommend at all, if you’re thinking of visiting yara I would strongly recommend reconsidering…

Lovely restaurant, the food is delicious. The wait staff are wonderful and very attentive, food arrived in great time - the waiter Zain went above and beyond to make our experience a good one, he even ordered our taxi for us which arrived super speedy! Would 10/10 recommend:)
